Ever since the masquerade ball, Marina and her family had been careful with their performers. Especially with Marinas case, that she was able to summon her spirits. And she didn't even want to have her family killed because off her. They performed while there wasn't any guards around for the moment. A crowd was gathering in front off the little scene they made. Marina waited until it was her turn and when she was up, she started to dance. Lifting her arms in the air, she summoned a lot off small spirit birds who fly around her. The crowd gasped in amuse.

As most days Al was strolling around the city. However the performance he passed clearly was something new so he stopped and tried to get closer to watch it from a good point. The show really wasn´t that bad at all though not much could beat his own magic skills but when the dancing performance started he froze, only letting his jaw drop. "Marina?" He whispered as she saw the young woman do her thing.

Marina smiled as the small birds went to the crowd, causing some small children to smile and laugh. Again, she summoned a new spirit this time a human male spirit. He smiled gently to Marina and gently grabbed her to dance as her adoptive father used his magic to let flower petals fall over them. The spirit lifted Marina to the air and made her laugh. She had so much fun doing this.

After the first shock had left him, Aladdin smiled at the now grown up woman. She surely turned very pretty, just like her mother. At the thought back to what was though he got sad again ans sighed while he moved to the side of the crow to wait until the show was over. He didn´t know it would do good or not but he just had to get to know Marina once again, to hear about how her life has been going since that one fatefull day.

The spirit put Marina gently down at the scene again and they both bowed for the crowd who started to applaud for them. People soon threw over some money toward them. At least that would be enough to get food on the table for the next days. Marina let the spirit go back to its own world and she started to collect the money on the scene.

Once the show was done and the people got back to their normal life or at least plans for today Aladdin approached the young performer and throw another coin for her. "You have been really good on stage."

"Thank you," Marina replied and looked up. Her eyes widened once she saw his face. Could it really be...? "Aladdin?" she whispered. Then her face turned into a big smile and she threw herself in his arms. "Al, it's really you!" she cried happily. She hadn't seen him since that fateful day. She feared that she had lost him too.

Immediately he smiled back as she gave him that sweet look and went right on to glomb him. Surely that was a suprise she remembered him and even had that positive reaction. "Yes it´s me, alive and in one piece." He replied jokingly as he gave her a wink. "How about we move to somewhere we can talk more privately? You just have to tell me how you´ve been these years." He requested with puppy eyes.

Her tears ran down her face while she hugged him. "I thought that I had lost you too," she said and looked at him. He still was the same Aladdin she knew since she was a little girl. She nodded to his request and his adorable puppy eyes. After all she also wanted to know how everything was with him through these years. She started to walk with him toward a bench nearby the markets.

As Marina started to cry he was close to tears as well but so far he could resist and wiped away her tears with his thumb. Just like he did when she was a child he took her hand to lead her to the bench she had suggested to go to and sat down on it right after her. "Now then tell me, how have you been all these years? Has your new family been good to you?"

"My new family has been really kind to me," Marina replied when they sat down. "Of course it always hasn't been easy, but I'm very grateful after all." Living as a poor girl wasn't easy, but Marina had received much love from her family who had given her a home when she lost her family. "But from them, I learned how to summon spirits and use it at performance," she continued smiling to Aladdin.

Al sighed in relief. So at least she had experienced some love and kindness from her new family after the tragedy that happened on that ship back then. At her mentioning about how she learned to do the spirit thing he chuckled. "And they did quite well in teaching you. I mean I am used to magic but still it entertain me and not to mention the people you got to amaze only today."

"At least that gives us bread on the table," Marina replied smiling. "But we have to be really careful now, ever since the new proclamation from the king." She took Aladdins hand and squeezed it gently. "But are you still safe? Keeping your lamp safe?"

"Don´t worry about me." He said as he pinched her nose with his free hand. "I´m fine and still free. Actually I am more than fine ... I just found an ... old special friend in paradise." He told her with a warm smile. If the proclamation wouldn´t be now surely would be the happiest time of his life. Marina was fine and he himself had Kida at his side, at least more or less, once again. "Anyways sadly it´s true for our kind these times are surely hard but still if you ever need help, with anything i mean, you can always come to be okay?"

Marina giggled when Al pinched her nose like he used to when she was a little girl. She was really happy that he still was free and not in the hands of some master. No one deserved to be captured. Especially not Al, he was more fit to be a free soul. "A special friend?" Marina asked with a happy smile. Could it be that he had found love? "I'm really happy for you." Again she hugged him as he told her that she could come to him if she ever needed help. "I will. Then I hope you'll come and watch our performances again. I would also love to meet your friend."
