Naveen forced himself to look up at her as she lifted his chin. He nodded, reluctantly agreeing with her before giving her a soft smile. "Thank you...for everything, really. I owe you so much." When he stood up, Naveen lightly pulled her to his chest in a soft embrace before letting go and leaving the room. He went back to Nita's room and pulled out a fluffy comforter from the cabinet, laying it over her body so she wouldn't be cold. Naveen was almost afraid to move her just in case she'd bleed again but he knew she wouldn't. He pulled up a chair next to her bed, taking her hand in his as he sat down. His thumb lightly traced across her skin and he used his other hand to caress her hair before placing a kiss on the back of her hand. Aurora would fix everything, he just had to let go of the control and let her.

Aurora bit her bottom lip at Naveen's words, feeling even more guilty at what he said. She didn't deserve them, "I'm sorry for what happened, now I'll deal with Kent...and he won't so much as breathe in the same space as Nita. I swear it." She promised, a small smile on her face as he hugged her. Naveen was a sweetheart....and moments like this reminded her of that. "Take care of yourself too." She added before she disappeared. -- Nita woke up sometime in the late evening, her heart raced as she suddenly remembered what had happened. "Naveen!" She sat up, and then turned to see him sitting next to her holding her hand and fast asleep. Nita's other hand moved to run down her chest, freezing as she felt the small scar there. Almost as if Kent's visit had never occurred, but Nita knew that it had and it made her sick. She wanted to have a bath but she didn't want to disturb Naveen who looked like he had had a rough night. Nita's gaze softened as she studied him, he must have been so worried....and yet Nita was grateful that she was able to see him. She could only remember fragments after he had burst into her room, and it had all been very fuzzy. A sigh of relief left her and she raised the hand that was holding hers to press a kiss against it. She planned on remembering his body once he woke up. And if he was in the mood...which Nita silently hoped he was. She wanted to forget last night....wanted to forget the man who had attacked her so violently. She leaned back in the bed, making a face as she felt the sticky feeling of blood against her back. The sheets would have to be changed and cleaned...but she could focus on that later.
