Kayley gasped when he pushed her back down to the ground, his hips moving at an alarming rate as he thrust into her. Kayley laid there on the ground with her eyes closed, her hand resting at the corner of her mouth as she regained her composure. At his words, she forced herself to open her eyes and look up at him, taking in his naked form hovering over her before he began to dress himself. Her eyes slowly changed from their purple color back to brown as the lust she felt before left her, leaving her feeling exhausted. She pushed up on her arms, her world spinning for a moment from the sudden movement and the pain from the wound on her arm was slowly resurfacing. Her hand reached over and grabbed the underwear he had cut from her body, using that to bandage up her arm for the moment. If she played her cards just right, she could convince Joseph that her sickness had come back while she was out and slip into her room before he could suspect anything. Her skin was already paling from the loss of blood and if he noticed any bruises, she could say that she passed out from a fever, which was partly true since she felt like she could pass out at any moment anyway. Then she could just stay locked in her room until the soreness between her legs went away...it could work.

Kent smirked down at her as she sat up and used her torn off undergarments to bandage herself up, he pulled his shirt on next and twirled his knife in his hands. "Well you definitely didn't disappoint, did she Joseph?" He called out, watching with amusement as Joseph entered the scene. He chuckled as Joseph glanced at Kayley with a dark look before looking back at him, "You never could keep your hands away from what didn't belong to you." Joseph stated dryly but it was clear that he was nervous of what would happen now. Kent's grin only grew, "Can you blame me? She was practically offering herself to me, you should have heard her begging." He said with a knowing smile as Joseph looked away with a disgusted look in his eyes, seconds before he reacted and had a knife to Kent's throat. "I killed you once, I think I can do it a second time." Joseph growled as he pressed the blade hard enough to cause some blood to appear. Kent chuckled, not at all perturbed by the display "Oh I know you'd like too, but there's only one person now who can do that...and it's not you." He said, his own knife digging into Joseph's side.

Kayley's gaze flew up when he suddenly addressed Joseph, her eyes landing on him as he emerged from the shadows. Her heart sank and she felt a tear break free and slide down her cheek. She was painfully aware of how exposed she was but her body could barely move. It felt like lead holding her down and shivers crept up her spine as the wind blew over her. "Joseph...I'm..I'm so sorry.." Her voice felt small and broken as she fought to hold back her tears. She didn't know how much he had seen or even heard but she knew no matter what, it was bad. It felt like she had betrayed him even though it was Kent that had started it all. She twitched when Joseph suddenly had a knife against Kent's neck and her eyes widened at Kent's words. Before she could even do anything, Kent stabbed him in the side and she gasped, staring in disbelief. "Joseph!" She pushed herself to her feet, struggling to do her best to keep her balance and rushed over to the two men. Kayley felt her eyes turn red as she gripped onto Kent's chest, shoving him away from Joseph with a sudden burst of adrenaline until he rammed into a tree. Joseph fell to the ground and once Kent was a decent distance away, she dropped to her knees beside Joseph and tried to stop the blood spilling from his side. Her hands shook as she covered the wound with them, blood instantly coating her skin. Tears slid down her cheeks but she tried to ignore them. "I'm so sorry...you shouldn't have come, he said he'd kill you if you found out..This is all my fault.." She grabbed her clothes and held them against him. Why had he come out to get her? Because of her, he could bleed out and Kent would win.

Joseph grimaced as Kent stabbed him in the side, the blade was magic...he could sense that as soon as the injury started becoming worse. He watched through a pain filled haze as Kayley moved and somehow managed to push Kent off of him, he landed with a grunt and sat there on the ground unable to move. "Why didn't you...tell me?" He demanded as Kayley moved to his side, if she had told him what Kent was up too he might have been able to find some way to kill his father before all of this had happened. Kent started to get up and it was clear he wasn't happy, his hands went to the knife and he moved forward intent on stabbing Kayley but Joseph pushed her out of the way with the last of his strength and was stabbed straight through the heart. "Not quite what I had in mind...but I'll settle with it." Kent said as he sneered down at Joseph before he twisted the blade just so before he yanked it out.

Kayley's words caught in her throat at his question and she shook her head. "I-I couldn't, I had to protect you.." She leaned down and kissed his lips like it was going to be the last time she could. Suddenly she felt his arms push her to the side and she fell away from him, a terrible sound resonating from behind her. She looked over her shoulder and her eyes widened in horror as she froze. The knife had gone straight through his chest and her whole body flinched as Kent twisted it before yanking it out. "No....no, no! Joseph!" She screamed as she scrambled back to him, her hands holding onto both sides of his face. "No Joseph, please don't leave me! Please!" Her tears dripped onto him as she slapped his face, trying to wake him back up. His body had gone still and there was no life in his eyes. Sobs escaped from her as she lowered her head and kissed his lips over and over again. There was magic in this world, something had to bring him back...
She held him in her lap and looked up at Kent, her eyes flaring with red. "How could you!? You promised he wouldn't get hurt if I didn't tell him and I didn't!" Her hand flew up to her mouth as she sobbed and her body crumpled as she held onto Joseph's body. She didn't even care about the blood staining her skin..all she wanted was to have Joseph back. The ground beneath them started to shake as her emotions took over her powers, sending them spiraling out of control. Cracks exploded around them, breaking the ground in every which way. A few of the trees around them burst into flames, branches falling down around them. Kayley didn't even bother looking up, knowing that it was her that was causing all of this but she didn't care. She couldn't kill Kent..no one could. There was no way to win this.

Kent watched with amusement as Kayley tried desperately to revive Joseph but it was a failed effort, his son was dead and he couldn't help but laugh. "Well he did threaten me...I was merely defending myself." He pointed out with a small smile, watching as her powers started to grow out of control. If Kent was mortal, he might have been scared by the display as it was he only stared at the ongoing destruction around him with a bored expression. It was magnificent and quite interesting to say the least, he had never seen a fairy cause so much damage and all because she had lost the man she had loved. "It's no use Kayley...just give up!" He shouted as a nearby tree burst into flame. One of the branches landing between him and her causing a barrier that he was nearly determined to cross.

Kayley gripped onto Joseph and looked up at Kent, her tears finally running dry. She felt numb inside and his words only made her want to slap him. "No! You can't control me, not anymore. He was the only thing I had left and now that you've taken him away from me, I don't care what you to. You can kill me, whatever. But I will never be yours to control again." She focused her energy on the flames erupting from the branch between them, sending the fiery embers towards Kent. There was no way for her to kill him but she could at least try to hurt him. The ground cracked between his feet, pulling apart until it made a trench. He managed to jump to the side so he wouldn't fall in but she sent more flames his way. If she could somehow get a hold of that knife then maybe she could kill him, but it was no guarantee. She was already beginning to feel weak from the sudden outburst of her powers but she kept pushing, wanting to scare him as much as she could.
