Navee let out a painful roar as Chel's claws scratched at his underbelly and his body twitched as he tried to get away from her. His eye's flashed brown, his true self trying to fight the demon blood that coursed through his veins. "Chel..get..get away from here. Hide Nita, please." His words came out soft before his body shuttered in violent shakes and his eyes turned white again. A loud roar flew from his throat and his talons sank into Chel's shoulders, flinging her away. He flipped off of his back and back onto his legs, wincing from the burn marks across his belly and he growled at her. His tail flipped around and whacked into her, spikes shooting out of his tail and burying into her skin.
Nero cursed when Chel didn't succeed and he had just been about to use his powers on him when Ruby appeared across from him. His gaze darkened and when Nita tried to speak, Ruby cut her off before he even had a chance to. He had a plan...but if it would work, that was another question. "I never expected you to stoop this low. But now that I've seen what you can do..." He smirked and moved over to her side, caressing some of the hair away from her face. "You're right...I never should have fallen for that human. You are so much..better." Nero pulled her body into his, his hand slipping down her waist and then back up towards her shoulders. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against hers as he leaned his waist into hers. After a moment, he pulled back and looked down at her, his gaze suddenly turning dark. "But on second thought...go to hell." His eyes turned white as he conjured a magical blade in his hand and thrust it deep into her stomach. He twisted the blade before he moved his hands up and snapped her neck, dropping her body to the floor.
Naveen suddenly let out a pained growl and jumped away from Chel. His muscles twitched and his form began to shrink down, his scales disappearing from his body as he was beginning to turn back into his human form. Naveen grimaced and threw his head back, crying out in pain until he was fully back into his normal form and his body collapsed onto the ground unconscious. His face buried into the ground beneath him, his body bare as he laid on his stomach. Blood stained his skin and climbing his arm, spanning from his fingertips up towards his elbow, was a faded white outline of his veins. It looked like lightning to form another scar on his skin though it was much more faded than any of his others.

Chel hesitated when she saw her dad clearly trying not to attack her. She hated hurting her dad and at his words she almost let him go and then he flung her away from him. She landed heavily, not too far away from Nero and Nita. Her whole body felt almost too drained from all the injuries she had sustained. However she looked up just in time to see Naveen send razor sharp spikes directly at her from his tail. She was too tired to react fast enough and howled as the spikes sank into her body, each one hitting a critical part of her body. The worst one was the one that sank straight into her abdomen, she doubled over then. She only dimly registered her dad slowly shifting back into his human form and saw Nero releasing Ruby's corpse. "Chel! Oh my gods no...stay with me Chel." Nita begged as she painfully slid off the slab and moved next to Chel. Hearing Nita, Chel whined and shifted to move closer to her but she was having a hard time staying upright. Nita's eyes kept drifting between Chel and Naveen, clearly torn about who to go too first and Chel gently butted her hand with her head. "Dad needs your help first mom." She said eventually, all of her energy drained just in talking to her. If she shifted into her human form, Chel knew she'd have a higher risk of succumbing to her injuries then she did in her dragon form. Nita bit down on her bottom lip but nodded all the same before she moved towards Naveen's side. Her hand stretched out and healed all of his injuries, "I'm so glad you're ok." She whispered, her hand lightly running through his hair. Chel glanced over at Nero and sighed heavily as she took in Ruby's corpse. "Looks like you got your revenge after all." She said quietly, her lip curling in distaste as she examined the body of the blonde woman. It was hard to think that she had known her long before she had first met her that day. Those memories were still painful and she dearly wished that she had managed to have some kind of justice of her own. Nita stepped by her side, having left Naveen's side and rested a hand on her side. "You're going to have to shift honey." She said gently and Chel nodded slowly, before she concentrated and began to shift. It took longer then usual due to all the injuries and when she was in her human form, she lay on the ground barely able to move. Her body shook from all the energy that she had used that day and she barely registered when Nita removed the spikes from her body. Blood fanned beneath her from all the injuries that she was suffering from. It was difficult for her to stay conscious, but she managed somehow and then Nita finally healed her. Chel was able to clothe herself then, dimly realizing that she was naked and she wasn't the only one. "Here." She said and concentrated for a moment, so that Nita was clothed and now wearing a loose white dress. The dress only highlighted Nita's pregnant state, but looked stunning on her. "Sorry I should have done that sooner." Chel apologized before she hurried over to her dad. "Hey dad." She said making sure to clothe him in similar clothes to what he had been wearing before. She moved to take his hand then, "You're going to be ok dad." She said gently glancing back to see Nita slowly get up. Healing both Chel and Naveen had really done a number on Nita. She couldn't have let them suffer through their injuries though, it had been bad enough to witness them fighting each other. Her eyes landed on Ruby and she grimaced before glancing back up at Nero. "I almost thought you were going to take her offer. Thank you for saving me and the kids." She said quietly, of course she was still poisoned but at least now the pains had subsided.

Nero glanced down at Ruby's body, disgust showing in his eyes. He should have killed her all those years ago when he fell in love with his wife. If he had, maybe his life would have been easier. After seeing what she had done to Nita, he knew that she had been behind the death of his wife. The poison's reaction to him was exactly the same..he couldn't do anything. He was drawn out of his thoughts when Chel spoke to him and he looked over at her. "Everyone did. The bitch deserved it." He leaned down and pulled the blade from Ruby's stomach, wiping the blood off of it with the bottom of his shirt.
Naveen felt hands on him as Nita came over to heal him but his body was frozen against the ground. Every muscle felt heavy and he felt completely numb. He easily could have had broken bones and gashes across him but Nita made it all dissipate. Before he could even open his eyes, Nita left his side and he slipped back into blackness, his breathing shallow as he adjusted. Every now and then, he could hear Chel each time Nita took the spikes out of her abdomen and his body cringed with each painful groan Chel made. After a few moments, Chel ran to his side and he groaned as he slowly began to push himself up on his arms. He dimly realized he was naked and his arms gave way as he laid back down so he wouldn't flash Chel. "What happened?" Once Chel gave him some clothes, he pushed himself until he rolled onto his back and managed to get into a somewhat seated position. Flashes of what had happened appeared before his eyes and he felt like he was going to be sick. He looked over at Nero and Nita to see Ruby lying by their feet and his body went cold. "Oh gods..I..I'm so sorry Chel. I almost.." Naveen bit his tongue, not able to say the words. He could have killed her..he almost had. If it hadn't been for Nita's powers, Chel would be dead and it would be all his fault. He leaned forward and pulled her to his chest and his arms squeezed her, making sure she was real. "I'm so sorry.."
Nero glanced away as he watched Naveen and Chel embrace each other and turned his attention to Nita. At her words, he smirked and crossed his arms. "At least it was convincing..sit." Nero took her hand and made her sit on the edge of the table before he waved his hand over her. All of her wounds healed up but he avoided trying to heal the poison again. After last time, he didn't want to end up killing himself just trying to save her. "He needs you, you know. You would think after the life he had led that he wouldn't be so dependent on a woman but then again...things change." Nero looked back over at his son. He was much stronger than he ever anticipated and now that he was a full demon dragon, maybe it was time to back off.

Nita sighed in relief when Nero healed the few injuries she had, having forgotten about them until that moment. At his words, she glanced at Naveen as well and sighed. "What are you saying exactly?" She asked quietly, a tiny tremor of hope flared within her but she didn't want to get her hopes up. Nero had made it very clear that he expected her to stay with him until she had her kids. Her hand rested on her stomach, she didn't want to lose Nero or Naveen's child. Maybe that was selfish of her, but she had lost so many children in the past. Chel let out a sigh of relief when she saw that her dad appeared to be back to normal. "Thank the Gods...I honestly thought I wasn't going to see you again." She admitted, allowing herself to get pulled into a hug. Her own arms wrapped around him just as tightly as he hugged her. "I'm ok dad...I'm ok." She whispered as she held onto him. Seeing him transform like that had terrified her more then she would ever admit. She almost hadn't been able to fight him off, "I'm sorry I hurt you so badly." She said quietly. Her hands shook a little bit as she spoke, using all her strength had been more difficult then anything she had done before. The thought of Ruby having controlled her dad like that had been too disturbing, and Chel had almost given up.

Nero looked back at Nita and sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets. "You can go with him...I won't bother you. Raise those children and..in a few years, I may come back. I haven't decided yet."
Naveen clung to Chel, refusing to let go for the longest time. If he had killed her, he would never forgive himself. He had already hurt her so much and almost killed her on multiple occasions yet she still loved him. When he apologized, he pulled back and shook his head, holding her chin in his hand. "This was not your fault. I attacked you..even if I didn't have control, I still caused all of this." He kissed her forehead, holding her hands in his. After a moment, he helped her stand and looked over at Ruby's body once more. "What did she do to you? Before you get all surprised, no, I haven't forgotten. I want to know."

Nita's eyes widened, barely able to believe what he was saying. Then before she could change her mind, she threw her arms around him and kissed him. "Thank you...thank you so much." She whispered against his lips. She kissed him again and then slowly pulled back with a little blush, tears were forming in her eyes but for the first time around Nero she actually felt happy. Her eyes moved to land on Chel and Naveen and she smiled again, finally she and Naveen could be together. Chel smiled at her dad as he helped her stand up, she was relieved that he seemed to be back to his normal self. At his question though she tensed and looked away from Ruby, "She kidnapped me when I was a kid, I'm still remembering things. I just remember waking up one morning to find myself in here...mom wasn't there and instead there she was. It wasn't all bad at first, not until she saw me use magic. Then after that, she'd lock me up in a closet...except I wasn't the only one in there. At first it was small things like snakes or rats and then one day there was a guy in there with me. Ruby told me that unless I wanted to get really hurt by the man then I'd kill him first. I didn't want to kill him, but he kept touching me and I felt so scared. So I reacted and the next thing I knew he was dead...and Ruby let me out of the closet. It didn't end there though, she'd have her friends come and visit me, while she made me do chores for her. I was always dressed up, and one day one of them tried touching me again. That was the day I first transformed into a dragon...Ruby...she decided I had proved myself. So that night, she uh showed me what it was like to be with someone. I was only six...and I knew what would happen if I didn't do what she wanted...I felt so dirty afterwards. After that she made sure that I pleased her every night, until one day I woke up home again. Mom's memories must have been wiped too because she acted like nothing had ever happened, and I didn't remember." Chel said quietly as she kept her gaze averted from her dad.

Nero blinked when Nita suddenly jumped on his and pressed her lips against his. He knew she would have been happy but he never expected..that.
Naveen's eyes widened as Chel spoke and the more she told him, his muscles tensed and the white spider veins along his arm started to glow a deep red. A burning sensation shot through his arm and he winced but he did his best to keep his temper under control. The last thing he wanted was to have another outburst. The pain of transforming now was almost unbearable and he knew he didn't want to be doing that again any time soon. To many transformations in a row could paralyze him for days, maybe even throw him into a coma...Ruby really knew what she was doing when she turned him. The fact that Ruby had even done all of that to her made him sick. It was worse than anything she had done to any of them...well, maybe not his father but it was a close second. Violating a child like that...making her please her in disgusting ways. She must have known that she was his daughter...His father caused all of this. He had heard stories of a demon like Ruby but he always thought it was a fairy tale. Their father would tell them a story of two lovers and how love ruined them. It had been a lesson for them not to get attached to anything. Naveen bit his tongue and pulled Chel back into his chest, hugging her tightly to him. "I'm sorry that she found you...If I had never left, maybe your mother and I could have been a family and I could have protected you. She's gone now..she can't hurt you anymore..." He pressed a kiss on the top of her head, trying to comfort her as best he could.

Nita slid off of the slab and gently squeezed Nero's hand before she moved to join Naveen and Chel. Chel sucked in a breath when she saw her dad struggle to keep a lid on his temper. It was clear he was in pain from not lashing out like he obviously wanted too. She relaxed when he pulled her in for another hug, "It's ok dad...besides it happened a long time ago. Even if you had stayed, I don't think that would have stopped Ruby." She pointed out with a grimace. She looked up when Nita arrived and held out her arms for Nita to join them in a group hug. "This is nice." Chel admitted and then spied Nero standing awkwardly off to the side. She slid free from Naveen and Nita, letting them hug each other they needed it after all. "Not bad gramps, you almost impressed me." She said teasingly as she nudged Ruby's body with her foot. "In all honesty though, thanks for killing her...like you said earlier bitch deserved it." She said with a look of distaste down at Ruby. It would take her awhile to come to terms with everything Ruby had done to her, and she knew that she'd probably have nightmares as a result. Nita clung to Naveen, her hands holding onto him. "Nero's let me go...I can go home with you and Chel." She whispered into his ear. She was still trying to adjust to that fact, "There's so much I have to tell you." She added with a little sob as she thought about what Ruby had done to her before Naveen and the others had arrived. Naveen still didn't know that she had been poisoned by Ruby and that their kids were still in danger.

Naveen sighed at her words and nodded, knowing that she was right. Even if he had stayed, Ruby still would have found her and taken her as well as him. She was after everyone related to Nero...they would have been found. He looked up when Nita approached and he felt tears spring to his eyes. His arms slid around the two of them, holding them to his chest in a tight embrace. He barely even felt Chel slip away and kept his arms wrapped around Nita, refusing to let go. Her words barely registered but once he heard them, he let out a sob he had been holding in and clutched her even tighter. "I've missed you so much..." He pulled back just slightly and pressed his lips against hers. It had been so long since he had touched her...the real her. The dreams didn't count at this point. Touching her, feeling her, it all felt like a dream. He kissed her over and over again, his grip tightening around her waist. "I have you back...that's all that matters. Nothing else can tear us apart again, I swear of it."
Nero glanced over as Chel approached him, having to tear his gaze away from Naveen and Nita. The two of them were nauseatingly clingy, he could only imagine how much more they will be since they had been apart for so long. "I should have done it a long time ago. But what's done is done..." He looked down at her, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Don't tell Naveen...but Nita was poisoned. Tell her not to tell him or you both know that he will freak out and that's the last thing you want. We don't need a demon dragon running on a rampage. You saw what he could do under Ruby's control...I don't want to take any chances. I'm going to try and research for a cure...from the looks of it, Ruby would have been the only one to reverse it but I killed her instead.." Nero frowned and uncrossed his arms.

Nita moaned into the kiss when Naveen finally kissed her. It had been far too long since she had actually kissed him, let alone actually had him hold her. "I've missed you so much." She whispered before he started kissing her all over again. Her hands clung to him as she pulled him closer against her, "We should probably slow down." She said in between kisses. If she kept kissing him, she was sure she wouldn't quite be able to keep her hands off of him and yet she didn't want to stop. It had been so many months, and a dream didn't quite compare to actually having him with her. Chel nodded, "I suppose so." She said with a shrug. Her expression tightened though at Nero's other words. "Ruby poisoned her? Couldn't you heal her?" She asked and then slumped when he mentioned needing to research a cure. "Is she going to die? Is that why you let her go with Naveen?" She asked quietly as she glanced over at Naveen and Nita. How Ruby could have managed to poison Nita so quickly and so brutally bothered her. She glared down at Ruby's corpse and kicked her, "I won't tell him...you're right with Naveen's new powers I'm afraid of what he would do if he found out about what Ruby did." She admitted.

Naveen involuntarily let out an annoyed groan when she said they should slow down and he forced himself to pull back slightly. All he wanted was tot tear off her dress and feel her skin and her body but he had to restrain himself. "You're right...We..we'll have time later.." He pulled back after pressing another kiss onto her lips and held her hands in his.
Nero sighed when Chel started throwing questions at him and he looked over at Nita. "No, I can't...I tried but it back-lashed. She must have made it herself. I've run into it before...with my wife. But I never knew what caused it so my research hit a dead end. Now that I know though...maybe I can reverse it." He explained, shoving his hands into his pockets. "If I don't find a cure fast enough...she will, as well as the children. I don't know how much she had been injected with but from what I've seen...it's not good. Anymore tonight and she would have gone into premature labor and all three of them would have died on the spot. If I can cure her and the children before birth, they should survive." A part of him was relieved when she agreed about not telling Naveen. She knew how dangerous he was, especially after fighting him like that. He had underestimated her more than he would like to admit.

Nita let out a small sigh as Naveen finally pulled away from her, but her body still ached to have him. "It's so good to see you my love and not just in a dream." She said gently as she squeezed his hands with her own. "I never thought I'd see you again." She added as she pressed a gentle kiss against one of his hands. Chel frowned as he mentioned his wife, obviously her grandmother had died from the poison that Nita now had. "Well I really don't want to see her lose any of her kids...or die, what can I do to help? And I mean really help, I want to see Nita get a cure." Chel said seriously. It was clear she meant what she said, she didn't want to see her dad lose Nita again. If he lost her again, she knew that he'd react probably even worse then he had earlier that day.

Naveen grinned at her words and looked down at her hands. On her finger was the ring he had given her and the sight of it made his heart soar. "It's good to see you too..my wife." Once he said the words, he kissed the back of her hand that wore the ring. "I told you I was coming for you. I'm just sorry it wasn't sooner.." His looked down and frowned. If he had just listened to her in their first dream and went to find her..He shook the thoughts out of his head, not wanting to realize how much he had screwed up.
Nero raised an eyebrow at Chel's offer and he felt a smirk come to his lips. "I'm genuinely surprised that you're offering to help me of all people. If you really want to help, just keep a close eye on her. I can teach you a spell to help her through the pain. If anything get's out of hand, just use this and I will come to you." Nero pulled out a golden whistle from his pocket and put it in her hand. "Just blow on this and I'll show up. Even if it's something small." He pulled out a small chain and weaved it through a small opening in the whistle so it could hang around her neck. She would have to keep it on her at all times, for Nita's sake.

Hearing him call her his wife brought a wide grin to Nita's face. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of you calling me that husband." She said tenderly. At his other words she shook her head, "No don't apologize, I don't blame you at all. How could you have known what Ruby was planning?" She asked quietly as she gently squeezed his hand. Chel glanced down at the whistle that Nero handed to her, "Huh so I can call you for anything...oh I can just picture the possibilities." She said teasingly as she accepted the whistle. "Well so long as you're helping Nita, I'd be more then happy to help you." She pointed out with a slightly more serious tone. Chel took the necklace then and wrapped it around her neck, "And don't worry I'll take care of Aunt Nita, if you teach me the spell that'll be even better." She added.

Naveen kissed her again, pulling her body into him. He had missed her feeling so much...After a moment, he pulled back slightly and kissed the back of her hand once more. "I love you...let's get you hone...Eric and Aurora are going to be so happy to see you, I've been annoying them like crazy while you were gone." He chuckled and hugged her tightly.
Nero smirked at her words and turned towards her. "I'd love to take you up on that but you know how they will react.." He teased before taking her hand. "Don't slap me for this." His hand slipped onto her waist and he pulled her towards him. Before she could protest too much, he kissed her. A warm light spread through her body and up to her head and after a moment, he pulled back. "Now you should know it. There's a small incantation but the more you use the spell, the less you'll need it. Your magic will adjust to it and become stronger if needed."
