Going to stores... (Tag: Meg & Lina)

Lina was standing outside the clothing shop after having changed out of the gorgeous, blue gown. Megara was still in the boutique though, paying for the dress, but Lina had stepped outside to enjoy the last moments of the sun before it would set later on. She had always despised darkness and enjoyed the light.

Lina had just started to hum a melody she had known since she was a child, despite having no memory of how she knew it, when she noticed a girl walking around in the streets. She was younger than herself, but only by a few years she imagined. She was wearing similar old rags to her own and she looked a little sad. Lina looked back in the boutique, confirming that Meg was still talking to the seller before she headed towards the strange girl.

Lina flinched at the sight of the girl curtsying at her and calling her miss. She had never experienced that sort of respect before and she wasn't sure how to react, but she didn't mind though it felt odd.

"Good afternoon," she greeted and looked in the same direction as the girl, at a dress in the window. "Yes, though I have already found my dress. I'm heading for a barber next." Lina looked at the girl's clothes and bit on her lip. "Are you... looking for a dress as well?"

Lina wasn't sure if she was speaking out of turn. All things considered, this girl didn't seem to have much money much like herself and perhaps it would have been better not to talk about things neither of them could buy on their own. The younger girl just had such a wondrous look in her eyes as she gazed at that particular dress. Lina's heart couldn't help but bleed for her.

Lina turned to look at the pink dress in the window. She smiled at it, that one really was very lovely. But then the girl told her she couldn't buy it, much like Lina had expected.

"Oh, I have gotten a deep blue one, with a glittering skirt and layered tutu... but I have not bought it myself." Lina admitted and let her hand run up and down her arm awkwardly. Lina giggled awkwardly. "A friend of mine insisted on buying it for me... She hardly gave me a choice really."

When she heard that Lina mentioned a friend of hers got something for her, she thought that those things really did sound nice. She could not imagine herself in glitter, like how other girls can pull it off. "Wow, sounds lovely; sounds like your friend is really nice and generous to get that for you. I would love it on you one day. I'm sure you'll look lovely in it." She complimented with a small grin. Personally, Eilonwy was more into ribbons and streamers and she did not want to do all the cleaning in her mother's home since glitter could be time consuming. She then turned to Lina and smiled at her lighting when she saw that she was looking at the pink dress as well. "Well, one day, I'll afford it. Just got to save money." She said, with a small shrug. She then saw a woman who she thought assumed that was Lina's friend. "Oh, greetings to you to, miss." She greeted, and gave out a small curtsy. She then looked at the sunset and realized that it would be time to check up on her brother, who was working. "Well, I know that it's getting a little late, but, I do not mind if I can explore the streets with you two, if you don't mind. My brother is working extra hours again." She offered, and just forgot to introduce herself to the young ladies. "Oh, my name is Elionwy. Who are you two?" She asked and offers her hand to the two of them.

Megara smiled with only corners of her mouth and said, "Lady Megara la Grand." She straightened her back a bit. Megara was proud of her origin and loved to call herself by her full name. Every time she did that, it reminded her of her mother. "...but friends call me Meg, thankfully I've got one." She turned her head to Lina and smiled, then she turned back to Elionwy. "You can call me Meg too". Her hands warmed up a bit, so there was a chance that they looked normal and wouldn't scare Elionwy away. She took little girl's hand as well as Lina. Hopefully Meg's hand was normal color, although it was very cold. And wet.

"Where do we liked to go?..", Megara repeated in her head and looked at the sunset. "Oh, dear..." , she gasped. "It's too late, Joe the Barber is probably at home with his sweet wife and children right now", she thought. "Thumbelina, my dear, I'm afraid we won't manage to finish our "duties" in time", she sigh. "The whole "packaging-the-dress" thing took a bit more time than I thought". "Although..", Megara glanced at the little girl. "I've got an idea!" She leaned over to Elionwy, "Would you like to join us? I need a little helper to get Lina's hair nice and braided! Are you in? Be sure, I'll pay you for that!" Megara smiled nicely and whispered. "And.. Don't be afraid. You know, I won't harm you.. I feel there is something in you too. I'm really curious in who you really are, Eilonwy. It'll be a pleasure to become a part of your secret and I..." ,Megara made her right hand shine a bit. "...will share you mine". Megara thought that it would be a good idea to get some new relationships with more supernatural creatures. She was one of them. She needed to know more, to dig deeper. That was the only way to find her long lost mother. Megara was sure she wasn't dead and all she needed now was to know. To know e v e r y t h i n g...

When then young girl saw that one of the young women mentioned that the barber shop was going be closed at the moment, she thought about her brother's egg shop closing soon and soon it'll be time for him to go home. A little more time with hanging out with the girls did not sound like a bad idea though, and when Meg asked her to come along with them to braid her hair, she thought it could be fun. "Sure, sounds fun." She said, and smiled at the both of them. The last time she was able to braid someone's hair was when she was little and she was braiding a doll's hair. She then heard Meg mentioning that she was not going to hurt her and she raised up an eyebrow, and realized that she was going to tell her and Lina her secret eventually. "Well, I can turn into a cat at night and somehow communicate with other cats, and so does my brother." She said, and hoped that that was fine to tell her that certain secret. She then turned to Lina and heard her asking to go with the both of them, and she nods. "Of course! I'll go with you ladies. Braiding someone's hair sounds fun." She said, and smiled back at Lina. She could not wait to tell her mother that she made friends with another supernatural and helped her friend with her hair.
