It was a dark night and Jasmine made her way towards a ship in the harbor. She wore a cloak so she wouldn't attract attention, someone bumped into her and she muttered an apology. Jasmine paused in step as she studied the ship she was about to board. It was a lovely ship and very well maintained, something Jasmine could admire. Sinbad, for all his quirks took good care of everything he owned and it showed. She let out a little sigh before she boarded the ship, she knew Dimitri and Sinbad were probably still on the ship. A few coins to one of the crew members and she was told to wait in one of the rooms, while Dimitri was told of her arrival.

Sticking to the shadows, Phoebus followed behind his love but made sure to keep his distance so she wouldn't catch him.
When he had awoken after their night together, he caught a glimpse of her as she left the house in a hurry. For a while, he didn't do anything but lay back and try to go back to sleep, but curiosity had gotten the better of him. He had hastily thrown on his clothes, halfway tucking in his shirt much like he had when he arrived and left to chase after her.
Coming up to the harbor, he stayed in the alleyway as he watched her board a ship. Once again, curiosity tugged at the back of his mind as he wondered what she was doing, or who she was going to see.

The first thought Dimitri had when one of the crewmembers carefully woke him up, was to kick him out through the wall, and maybe bite all of his fingers off. However, that quickly changed when he was informed of the visitor waiting for him. And he quickly figured out who it was before even getting out of the bed, thanks to his sensing abilities. Immediately in a much brighter mood, he sweetly told the man to get the fuck out before he'd wake up his Captain, who Dimitri has specifically ordered everyone in the crew not to disturb until he woke up by himself, got dressed and then cheerfully went to greet his friend.
"I knew you'd couldn't keep away," he purred in her ear when he out of nowhere appeard behind her, already with one arm lazily wrapped around her shoulder and his typical smirk in place. "To what do I owe pleasure this time?"

Jasmine whirled around when Dimitri suddenly appeared behind her and a small smile grew on her face, "Surprisingly, I'm here for business." She said as she nudged him in the stomach with her elbow. She sighed and started wringing her hands, "I want you to make me human." She said quietly as she turned to face him. It wasn't a light request that she was making and he very well knew that, in fact he might even try to dissuade her from her initial decision. |

Phoebus had made his way closer to the ship and ducked behind a few crates when he saw a man suddenly appear behind Jasmine. He hadn't seen this man before, and it was clear that he was something supernatural. Maybe this was one of her little "friends" for when they couldn't be together...he wasn't sure. Their voices were muffled from where he stood, but he could still get a decent understanding of what they were talking about. At Jasmine's voice, his heart stopped as he stared at the ground in disbelief. She wanted to be human?

Dimitri gave out small huff when she elbowed him, not enough ot hurt of course, but he backe doff either way, chuckling at his friend. At first, when she claimed to be there only for business, he only studied her with mild interest, his eyes falling down on her wriggling hands. And then, he ahd to make sure he had actually heard right.
A human. She wanted to become.... a human.
His ecited expression was immedintly gone, repacied wiht one of pure disbelief and one that defenetily wasn't to pleased by her sudden request. "Oh I see," he sighed then, making a small grimaced. "It's beacuse of that blonde boy toy of yours, isn't it." It was more of a statement than a question, as if he already knew exactly what his friend was thinking. "Jas, you know better than most that I can't just make you a human," he started firmly, haivng one of those rae times where he was actully serious. "As much as I would love to turn into one of.... those," he wrinkeld his nose as if in distaste. "I can't do it for free, even if I wnated to. And trust me my dear, the price for that ain't worth it." His expression darkend. "He won't be worth it."

Jasmine glared at him, "Look it's been on my mind for some time now actually, I can't enjoy sex anymore with anyone else.. and you know what that means." She said as she paced in front of him. "I mean it's only a matter of time before I die at this rate." She said with a little grimace. One hand ran down her face, "Phoebus doesn't know how bad it's become...and I'm too afraid to tell him." She added with a self deprecating expression. Her eyes moved to meet Dimitri, "So maybe you don't have to turn me human, just make it easier?" She asked. |

At Jasmine's words, he fought the urge to jump out of his hiding place and run to her. He couldn't make himself known yet. Why hadn't she told him it was getting so bad? He couldn't lose her, not after everything they had been through. He leaned back against one of the crates and cursed himself over and over again. Even though they weren't together very often, he should have seen the signs.

Dimitri's expression softend up at hearing this, but was still not liking her request one bit. "Then why didn't you come to me earlier? Then maybe I would've been able to think something up," he mutterd, folding his arms across his chest. "Something that doens't invole your soul or you becoming a human." As her eyes searche dhis, asking for somethign easier to help fic her problem, DImitri went silent for a while, averting his eyes from her as he seemed to get lost in thought. "'Make it easier', you say," he repeated her words with a sneer. "I'm not made of magic ya know, there's a reason I need to devour souls to sruvive myself," he sighed, leaning his back against the wall, looking back at his friend with a frown, still appearign to really be thinking about this, on a way to help her out. Urgh... this is why beings like them shouldn't grow to atatched to humans, it never ended well for anyone of their kind. "I could perhaps... prolong your lifespawn for a bit longer, but..." he trailed off, suddenly turning his head towards the window and staring at the direction the human man was hiding, as if knowing he was right there, watching them. "You really think that human's worth it?"

Jasmine made a face, "I was hoping I was wrong as far as the whole sex thing. I was hoping it was just the person I was with but no it wasn't." She said with a sigh. She watched as Dimitri pondered her predicament in silence before he mentioned prolonging her lifespan. "I know he is, I wouldn't ask if I didn't think that was the case." She let out a sigh. "The truth is I know Phoebus would probably be against this as much as you are, he likes me for being me and I...damn it I've fallen in love with him." She said with a little laugh. "I want to be able to spend some time with him, I don't care how long I have left, I just want that time to be perfect." Jasmine added. |

Phoebus couldn't take standing aside any longer while Jasmine was thinking about making a deal. Coming out of the shadows, he made his way on to the ship. He ignored the shouts from the crew members on the deck and threw open the door to where Jasmine and the man were talking, his face hard with seriousness. "Is there anything I can do?" Phoebus made his way to her side, never tearing his eyes off the man in front of him. Adrenaline pumped through his veins as he was prepared to make an offer in her place if she chose to do so, willing to do anything to keep from losing her.

Dimitri stood in there in silence as he litsend to his friend, truly wanting to give her a helping hand in this matter, but... Urgh. A human. And the damn Captain of the Knigths of all people. It wa sone thign having humans falling in love with her, but the other way around? Like he already, that never ended well. And just as if on cue, the very same human they were tlaking about burst inside the room, the shouts and protest from the crewmembers alreayd alreting way ahead. "Was wonderng when you'd botherd to make your precense know," he mutterd, before wlaking over towards the door and telling the rest to 'shut the hell up! before their Captain woke up.
Once it quiet down, Dimitri turned back to his two guests, not bothering to hide his annoyce by the male's mere precense. "You've done enough pretty boy," he flatly said back to Phoebus, leaning back agaisnt the wall again as he seemed to egt lost in his own thoughts once more. "And even if I for some reason would agree with you helping out, you're already clamied by Jasmine here, who I highly dobut would be ok if you payed the 'price' in her stead."

Jasmine felt her eyes widen when Phoebus suddenly appeared from behind some crates and hurried forward, which the other crew members weren't very happy about. "Phoebus?" She asked quietly, seeing him there she couldn't help but wonder how much he had heard. Her eyes landed on Dimitri and she frowned, "You knew he was here and you didn't tell me?" She demanded as she folded her arms and silently fumed. "This is my decision Phoebus,and I'm ready to make whatever deal you want from me Dimitri." She said and turned her gaze to Dimitri. |

Phoebus glared at Dimitri, struggling to keep his temper under control. "I don't care if she'll let me or not, I'm going to do it anyway, as long as it saves her life." He didn't bother looking at Jasmine, knowing that she'd just yell at him to change his mind, but that wasn't going to happen. If a deal was going to be made tonight, he wanted to know about it. He wasn't going to let her do this alone.

Dimitri just gave a lazy shrugg at Jasmine's demanding look, as if quitely saying 'it doesn't really matter now' and simply returend the glare Phoebus was giving him with a blank look of his own. He rolled his eyes as they began to aruge on who should take the deal, glancing away in impaitcene. This way, they weren't really going to get anywhere. And, not that he actully cared, but whateve routcome this little talk would have, he was going to be the 'bad guy' in all this. "Ok first off, you," he suddenly spoke up, pointing at the human. "...have nothing that could interesst me of, or be of use to me, so a deal with you isn't going to happen.... unless of course, you actully do offer me something intressting in return," he added the last part as an after thought, but more to himself than his company. THen he turned back to Jasmine, with a softer yet firm expression. "Like I said, before getting interrupted by this thing here," he started gesturing towards Phoebus. "I can perhaps prolong your lifespawn for a bit longer, give your more time to think and hopefully figure this whole mess out..."
But the price? Well.... it would be Dimitri who payed it this time, but Jasmine's got enough trouble as it is for now.
