Jane took a deep breath as she stood at the Gates to that famous human city people were talking about on her way. At first it looked very strange for her, even a little bit scary since she wasn´t used to intact buildings as well of buildings that high and with that architecture. Anyways it was a big city which she could already see and feel and big cities meant many people and places thanks to which she could easily hide and live a life more or less in the shadows.

A little pup with a belt in her teeth run as fast as she could right to the Gates of the city Paradise. A few meters back her owner, local bard Miguel, awkwardly tried to catch her. Poor Miguel was forced to held his pants in place by his hands while running.
- Angel, come back, NOW!
The little doggie squeaked and sneaked right behind the back of the stranger. She smelled different.
'I wonder if she is a bad or a good human' she thought. Angel was afraid to speak aloud nowadays. She dropped the belt and barked friendly. 'I think she is good', Angel bounced around the girl, trying to get all of her attention.
(Shall we set an order? How about: Jane/Angel/Jane/Miguel/Jane/Miguel/Jane/Angel and so on. A dog doesn't seem to do so much plot-progression, sorry. :c I would like to play as Miguel as much as I can in this thread! <3)

Jane was just about to finally make a move and enter the city when she had an awkward feeling of having someone or something out of nowhere right behind her. Her hand was already moving towards a dagger she was hiding underneath her clothes while she slowly turned around just to see nothing unusual, nothing besides some running blonde screaming like crazy though. In the end however tried to calm down again right before she made a jump in suprise as she noticed a cute little puppy barking at her. "Uhm hellow there ... little puppy?" She greeted the little cutie back, not really knowing what to do now as she was in public with humans watching her. If they would have been in the woods she wouldn´t have hesitated to pick her up for some cuddleing but here ...

Miguel sighed with relief. Angel let his belt go and stood still. Well, almost. His little friend run in circles in front of a pretty young lady. "Perhaps she got curious about her", he thought. Only then he realised that he stood almost half naked in front of a woman! "What a shame!" He blushed a little and finally tightened his belt.
- Ah, whew,.. - Miguel still could get enough air to breath normally. He got a little exhausted because of this unexpected jog. - thank you mam,.. I mean miss! - he smiled and bowed his head respectfully. - Miguel. The hapless bard, at your service!
He took her hand in order to kiss it.

As she got to know who the supposed owner of the dog was Jane raised a brow at him as she scrutinized him from the head down to his toes and back. Humans are really weird, she thought to herself, standing half naked and even during the attendence of the other gender. As he eventually get fully dressed again though she just had to smile for a moment before she was about to even smirk at the male just before his handkiss made her move back a step. Trying not to make too much of a scene she slowly let her hand disappear behind her back to wipe it on her clothes. "I´m ... Jane." She answered rather cold than friendly before she remembered his indruduction words and finally got to smile friendly at him, at least a little. "Mhm hapless indeed you seem regarding your appearance from just few moments ago. If this puppy is yours though you are actually still quite happy." She replied pointing at Angel.

Miguel was a little confused. He scratched his head and smiled. He said:
- That's me. I don't kinda know how am I still alive after all those coincidences. If I'm unlucky with death I'll be lucky with love, right?
He chuckled a fake laugh and continued:
- Ehm, sorry. Glad to meet you, Jane.
He smiled and squatted. Angel ran to his knees, barking happily.
- Let me introduce you my dearest friend.. Angel.
He patted his dog.
- You can pet her, she won't bite you, I promise. She is such a sweet girl!

At his joke she got to raise a brow again. Strange human, she thought to herself. "Wow your wife must have a tough time with worrying about you then." She said, actually being quite serious about it though not meaning to offend him in any way, before she kneed down to pet Angel a little while she smiled down at the cute creature. "Indeed she looks like a little Angel being as lovely as she is."

A little doggie scurried back and forth between big and loud humans. She smirked and got right after her masters back really quickly. She heard Miguel as always talking something ridiculous:
- Oh, no-no-no.. I don't actually have a wife, I...
She didn't let him to finish his sentence. So how both of the humans were sitting down really close to each other she jumped on Miguel's back causing him to fall a little forward. It came out as she expected. There was silence. Both of the humans were kissing in a really awkward position, sitting on ground, right in front of the giant gates. Angel was happy.

Actually she was slowly but surely just starting to like that human. For a human he seemed to be fun and his sweet clumsy attitude reminded her a bit of her sister. However she definitely didn´t intend to share a kiss with him, especially not her first real kiss! All Jane could think of laying in this aweful position was screaming innerly and running away as fast as she could and eventually she pushed him away.

Wow. That was fast. The last time he tried to speak with a nice lady, he got slapped in the face. "Stil hearts.. and Jane's lips are so soft", he thought. Miguel tried to avoid the temptation to continue the kiss, gladly Jane immediately helped him by pushing Miguel away.
- Angel! You..! Little devil! Apologize to the lady, now!
Angel started barking and run a few steps away from him.
- Stop playing, silly, I'm serious! Gah..
He turned back to Jane.
- Are alright?
"Oh, of course you not.." Miguel held out his hand to help her up.
- I'm so sorry, Jane. Would you allow me to make amends?

Jane really didn´t know what to do now, or rather she just couldn´t decide. Now that at least there was some distance between them again at all it wasn´t as bad as a moment ago but at that very moment she surely just wanted to run away, crying like a baby. Why, just why did I have be so unlucky! She sighed, not really listening to Miguel at all and didn´t even took his hand as he offered it. At least, she thought to herself, he was good looking. The thought however quickly disappeared as she noticed she was actually staring at him while her cheeks got red. Obviously not wanting to show any of this she turned her head away and crossed her arms in front of her chest.

Miguel did not immediately realize his hand being rejected. Awkwardly he drew his arm back and rubbed his head once again as he did just a few minutes ago.
- So, ehm.. you are new here, right?
"What a dumb question, you idiot", he thought.
- I-I.. I've just never seen you here before! I think I'd have remembered if I saw someone as pretty as you,...
"I'm a dumbass".

Jane coughed again, praying she finally would stop blushing, before she faced Miguel once more. "Yes indeed I´m new here, pretty new actually and ... thank you ... I guess?" Great, now she had to blush a little again. Maybe she could just say she felt a little sick as reason for her red cheeks?

Angel waited for a good moment until both of the humans started speaking again. She gently came back and sat in front of the elf. Angel noticed that pointy ears and that strange magical smell she had. She used to have an elf as a master before. Unfortunately he died a long, long time ago. Her current master said:
- Oh, no, no, no! It's early to be grateful. I think, me and Angel need to show you the city and find you a place to rest. It's getting a bit cold, you know...
Angel made a whimper sound and looked up on Jane with her big lilac puppy eyes.

Is this the time I should run for my life and cry out for help?, Jane was thinking to herself, raising a brow as she listened to his words. She clearly had no idea what to do with this guy. However if the dog liked him that much he couldn´t be that bad can he? Still he definitely was kind of a weirdo in her opinion. Did he just invite her to spend the night at his stay? "Well a little tour wouldn´t be that bad I guess ..." From there she could just disappear in the crowd anyways.
