When James came back with a tray of food, Ariel looked down at it. The meat he had on there looked the best, but she also felt her stomach churn. Even though what he had offered was good, Ariel couldn't eat it. It wasn't what she wanted. Of course she still ate real food, but it didn't please her as much as blood did now. And by the look of it, the meat was fully cooked. There was no more blood in it. If that was the case she would've eaten it by now. She closed her eyes and shook her head as she looked away from the tray. "I'm sorry but that isn't going to help me.." She said as she didn't look at him now. Now her expression was full of guilt and sadness.. The fact she couldn't even bring herself to eat what he prepared for her made her feel bad.
Ariel looked back at him to see his confused look, making her look away once more as she got up from the couch and walked away from him. She had to tell him why or she would appear to be rude. But hopefully he wasn't going to turn on her once she told him. She wrapped her arms around her as she tensed up. "I can still eat real food, but it won't satisfy me," She started, "When I was turned the two people who turned me were both a demon and a vampire. And when they they did, their powers were combined inside of me, making me a virus. I can heat things up with one touch.." She said as she walked to a flower and gently plucked a petal off of it. Once she did she focused and caused the petal to burn up into nothing.
"But to keep not only my power, but my senses strong, I have to drink blood. Either it be from a human, supernatural creature, or an animal.. I really prefer none of them, but if I don't drink from them, I could lose all of my energy and die." She said as she felt tears welling up in her eyes again. She kept her back to him, not wanting him to see her like this. "They made sure to turn me into this. They trained me and forced me to feed until I was powerful.. The last time I drank was a month ago. They had given me more blood then I was use to, and because of that I lasted this long. That is until I fought them and got away. And then I ran into another girl who was in the same situation as me and I fought off her captor to give her enough time to get away.. So because of this night, I am growing weaker and my hungry is growing.. And that is why I can't eat the wonderful food you prepared for me.." Ariel said as she wrapped her arms around herself again, but this time tighter.
"I'm not safe to be around.."

James looked at her in confusion as she spoke. He had never even heard of something like that happening before but the evidence of it was right in from of him; it was her. Demons were one of the most dangerous supernaturals of them all but vampires..he thought they didn't exist anymore. It was hard not to stare in fascination when she plucked a flower petal and burned it into nothing. The small flame gave off a glow and he couldn't help but wonder how she was able to do that. Whenever his transformation was complete, he wouldn't have elemental powers or anything. All he would have is his speed, his strength, and a newfound healing power that he had just learned about. His fascination soon faded when he realized that she was close to tears. He made his way over to her and gently turned her to face him, lifting her head up by her chin so he could look in her eyes. "Ariel, it's alright. You don't need to beat yourself up about all of this. You're safe now, and I'll keep you safe." He gave her a comforting smile to try and calm her down. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small knife. "I understand how you're feeling, dealing with these changes on your own. I can't offer you much, but I can help." Before she could object, James slid the sharp blade across the skin of his arm until beads of blood emerged. He gave her another nod and stretched out his arm to her so she could make the decision herself.

Ariel was surprised he had turned her to face him. Her eyes stared into his dark green eyes. She felt the tears welling up in her eyes as he told her that she safe. Her body tensed up at his words. She never knew someone would tell her that, especially after what she had turned into. It made her happy. But she wondered if this was going to last. Would he keep her safe as long as he said he would? But when he suddenly took out the knife her eyes widened. "What are you-?"
"I understand how you're feeling, dealing with these changes on your own. I can't offer you much, but I can help."
Green eyes widened as her pupils dilated a little as he cut his hand. She instantly grabbed his hand to look at the cut. And she was about to scold him, but the scent of his blood reached her nose faster. Her eyes closed as she opened her mouth a little.. She gasped as she raised her head, wanting to get away from the scent. She didn't want to feed off of him. He was being so nice offering it to her, but she didn't want to hurt him. Especially after the kindness he had showed her. Her grip on his hand tightened as she felt her whole body begging her to take it..
Green eyes looked back up at him, glowing more and more each second she did. And when he stretched out his arm closer to her and gave her a nod she felt all of her restraint disappear.
Ariel softened her eyes at him, thanking him before she went to his arm. Fangs appeared in her mouth before she gently bit into his arm. She didn't want to hurt him more, she only bit him enough to get all of the blood she needed. Her hands grabbed his arm and pressed tightly as she started to drink from him. Her eyes closed as she let out a sound of relief as the blood went through her body, making her stronger. Though she had no idea the moment she felt that high that she pushed him against the wall behind them. Her body pressed hard against. He could feel every inch of her curves due to how close she was.
She fed on him for ten minutes before she finally let go. Her fangs went back into hiding as she raised her head and sighed. Blood trickled down her chin. Green eyes that were glowing now looked at him brighter then ever. They weren't glowing, but their bright color was fully restored now. She breathed hard as she looked at him. "Thank you... I hope I didn't take too much." She said, her voice sounding also better now.
Hell, she looked healthier now. It was like she was brought back to life.

James watched her eyes, almost intoxicated by the color and the glow. A sting flew through his nerves as her fangs entered his skin. By the way her body was responding, he knew that his blood would satisfy her for at least tonight. If she needed more later on, he would be more than happy to help her out again. He was suddenly caught off guard when he felt her push him until he stumbled back and was pinned against the wall. A light groan slid past his lips at the sensation he was feeling. The curves of her body fit into his perfectly and he had to grit his teeth to keep certain thoughts out of his mind. When she was finished, James looked down at her, ignoring the fact that their bodies were still touching. She automatically looked better, her whole body almost glowing with health. "Don't worry. I hope it was enough." He slowly slipped out from between her and the wall and grabbed two loose towels from the bar and handed her one. "If you need more later on, just tell me." He ran the towel over his arm and wiped off the blood. When he pulled the towel away, where there should have been an open wound and two bite marks, was nothing but smooth skin. No evidence of what had just happened was left behind other than the blood that now stained his towels.

When he moved away from her, that was when Ariel realized how close she was to him. Causing her to blush a little bit. "It was, thank you.." She answered as she watched him get the towel. Her blush slowly went away as he handed her the towel. She smiled at him and mouthed thank you to him as she wiped her mouth. Once she was done she made sure there was none on her robe. Once she noticed that it was clean she looked at James to check on his wound. But when she looked at his arm, the wound was no longer there. Eyes widened as she suddenly grabbed his hand to examine it more. He was a supernatural? He was healed already? A human wouldn't heal that fast.
..."I understand how you're feeling, dealing with these changes on your own." "I never planned for it to escalate this far and now there is nothing I can do about it."
"You can heal just like me. You're.." Ariel said as she started to put two and together causing her to look up at him. "This is why your Dad is upset isn't it? You were changed as well.." She said as she let go of his arm. Her hand went over her mouth as she finally realized why Frollo was doing all of this. There was no way James was born a supernatural.. He had to have been changed. And because of this his Dad really was going on a tantrum. Her hand traveled her head as she looked away before back at him. Suddenly all of this information started to become to too much. Plus it didn't help she was still tired from running away and fighting with the man in the woods.
Suddenly she watched as everything turned black. "You.. me.. I.." She stopped as her eyes closed while she fell forward into his arms. Her body becoming limp.

James felt his muscles tense when she grabbed his hand and started to examine him. He knew his secret was out now that she had seen it and shame filled every fiber of his body. "Ariel, please..." His voice came out as a whisper, almost terrified to speak to her at all. He pulled his hand back and shoved them in his pockets, keeping his gaze down to the floor. Now that he had broken his promise to his father, James couldn't let Ariel leave without telling her everything first. If she knew the whole story and the fact that she had experienced the same thing, maybe she would keep all of this a secret. When he heard her words coming out slow and incomplete, James finally took the courage to look at her. Before he could react, Ariel fell forward into his arms and he managed to catch her just before it was too late. "Ariel?" James picked her up and laid her onto the couch as he tried to wake her. "Dammit Ariel...please wake up." He shook her gently, doing everything he could think of to wake her back up. After ten minutes of failure, he sighed and lifted her limp body up into his arms and took her upstairs to his bedroom. He just prayed that it was her nerves that caused her to faint and not his blood. Laying her down on his bed, James tucked her under the covers and made sure she was still breathing steadily before he pulled up a chair next to the bed. Whether she would wake up in the next few minutes or not, he planned on staying by her side until they had a chance to talk things over.
