Miguel got his way back to his parents house thgough the forest. It was quite spooky, but both nice and piecfull place to be. He decided to choose this road, so he could practice his skills without being noticed. The young men just got back his dearest musical instrumant repaired. He was so glad, his old lute was as good as new! Miguel pluged the strings with his fingers and began to sing. "I know not if there is a reason Why I am so sad at heart. A legend of bygone ages Haunts me and will not depart.
The air is cool under nightfall. The calm river courses its way. The peak of the mountain is sparkling With evening's final ray" He took a breath and went on. The fairest of maidens is sitting So marvelous up there, Her golden jewels are shining, She's combing her golden hair.
She combs with a comb also golden, And sings a song as well Whose melody binds a wondrous And overpowering spell. His eyes got teary. Miguel rubbed them with his sleeve, like a child. He whispered a swearword and stood still. Ariel so liked to sing this song about Lorelei. Miguel clenched his fist around the lute's neck and continued to sing. In his little boat, the boatman Is seized with a savage woe, He'd rather look up at the mountain Than down at the rocks below.
I think that the waves will devour The boatman and boat as one; And this by her song's sheer power... The last line stuck in his throat. Miguel's voice was trembling a little. His hands were shaking. "Fair Ariel has done...", he ended. A tear rolled down his cheek. "I miss you"

Ariel was walking to the graveyard. Tonight the moon was going to be beautiful. It would be full and bright and she always could see it perfectly in the graveyard. Even though she really hated going into graveyards, once she saw the beautiful moon, all of her worries went away. Though this was the last time she would be here. She needed to stay hidden in James' house if she wanted to stay safe. The fact she was even out here could ruin everything. But she just had to see the moon one last time. As she made her way to the graveyard, she heard a familiar voice singing causing her to stop in her footsteps. Quickly she hid behind a tree and looked around for the voice. Once her eyes landed on the man, her eyes widened.
Ariel watched as Miguel sung a song that both of them loved to sing. She stayed hidden behind the tree and started to feel her body shake. Tears welled up in her eyes as she tried her best not to make any sudden movements, or make sounds. She watched as the moonlight started to shine on him, showing that he was crying as he continued to sing.
The moment she saw him crying, she felt the tears finally fall down her cheeks. Her nails digging into the tree. She looked down before looking back up when she heard him say that he missed her. Ariel placed a hand over her mouth, gasping as she backed away from the tree. She wanted to go to him, tell him that she was okay, but she needed to get out of there before he noticed her. Cause if he noticed her, her secret would be out. And she needed to keep him and their parents protected, even if it hurt her. But the moment she backed up, she stepped on a branch, making a loud cracking noise. Ariel gasped as she looked behind her to see the branch now snapped in two.
Ariel then whirled around to see Miguel looking towards where she was. Green eyes widened as she turned around and started to run. Wanting to get away before he got a good look at her.

Miguel instantly turned at the sound that was coming form the graveyard. There was a figure running away into the distance. "A woman", he thought. For one startled moment he stood still, but then darted off, following the girl. Miguel pushed past the trees at the border of the graveyard and ran right after the woman as fast as he could. "Wait! I'm sorry, if I scared you! Come back!", he shouted. The woman didn't listen to him. Miguel's heart was painfully beating his chest like it wanted to escape. "Why is she running away? Maybe I should stop...", he thought and then noticed that purple dress, the girl was wearing. It looked just like the one his father bought at Ariel's last birthday. Miguel growled out of anger and kept runnung. Shortly he threw his lute on the ground and ran even faster. Yes, that was a decisive decision. Miguel forestalled the girl with a quick movement right in the graveyard gates. He blocked the path with his arms and shouted, "WAIT!". Finally he could catch his breath, he said, "Where did you get that DRESS? WHO ARE..." His vision was clouded over, but when he looked up at the girl's face, he gasped, "A-ariel...?"

Ariel ran faster when she heard Miguel chasing after her. She jumped over a fallen tree branch. As she ran she refused to look back, even when he shouted at her to come back. She couldn't, she just couldn't. Tears fell from her eyes as she tried to run faster away from him. Her hair flowing behind her as she held her dress high, not wanting it to get torn. And she was just about to escape him, but he suddenly appeared in front of her, causing her to gasp as she stopped right in her tracks. She breathed out hard as she looked at him in horror. Her green eyes wider then ever as she stared at her brother. Her right hand was in front of her chest while her left hand was by her side. Not only was her face showing horror, but so was her body.
When he suddenly yelled and finally looked at her, she felt her heart stop. Tears immediately fell from her face as she felt her whole body shaking now. Blonde strands of her hair fell in front of her face as the moonlight started to hit her. Showing off her glow she now had. She watched as his eyes widened as he took her whole image in.
And before he could any more she shrieked and covered her face, not wanting him to see her. "No! Don't , don't look at me!" She shrieked as she backed away from him and tried to shield herself away from him. "Please don't look at me, Miguel, please..." She begged as her voice broke. Tears falling onto the ground as she backed away from him once more.

Miguels arms hung limply like a rag doll's. He couldn't belive his own eyes. "It must be fate," he whispred and took one little step closer to his sister. One wrong move could ruin everything, Ariel could get out of here in two twos... Flew away, like a butterfly from his hands. He made another step forward, so now the distance between them was less than arm's length.
"Ariel,.." he exhaled her name like a aprayer and fell down on his knees. He grabed the hem of her dress. Miguel cried, without uttering a word. "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left you," finally he looked up at her, clutching the dress in his hands. The young man was afraid to lose his sister again. He needed to hold something to know, that it all wasn't just a dream. So Miguel tried to reach one of Ariel's hands...
