Micheal inhaled the fresh air as he rode through the forest, enjoying the peaceful and quiet night. As he reached the river, he got off his horse and allowed her roam around freely along side the shore. It was dark, but the full moon illuminated more than enough light for him. With a small sigh to himself, he crouched down close enough to the water and began cleaning off his knife, as well his blood drenched hands. Things has, unsurprisingly, been a lot calmer for him since he took up the fake identity for guarding the princess, but that didn't mean he quit his other jobs and smaller errands on the sides. And neither the failed assaults on him from people either wanting the price on his head, or just wishful thinking of revenge. Well, as annoying a sit could sometimes get, it was their loss in the end, and not his.

Lonette had finally been given some information that she hoped wasn't a lie. Otherwise, she was going to be paying her informant a little visit. Her outfit was form fitting but it allowed, freedom of movement and Lonette had never liked dresses. Her outfit caused some nasty comments but Lonette never listened to anyone who thought they could intimidate her. Instead she proved them wrong, sometimes in very creative ways, she paused as she heard movement up ahead. Perhaps she was going to be lucky tonight after all, she withdrew her crossbow which was strapped to her back with an arrow already notched inside. It would help save on time and make it easier for her to sneak up on the man who she wanted answers from. She stepped out into the riverbank and spotted the man washing his hands in the river. "Don't move, or I'll pin you to the fucking ground." She said darkly, her finger resting against the crossbow trigger ready to use it at a moment's notice.

Michael had thought he heard movements behind him, but thought nothing of and just kept on washing off the blood. That is, until he heard the dark command of keeping still. Without really reacting, Michael turned his head and looked over his shoulder with his usual blank, unbothered expression, giving the girl an unreadable look, as if not currently having a crossbow aiming straight for his head. "If you're gonna shot someone in the back, don't forget to look over your own," he just said casually, and went back to cleaning his hands off.

Just before Lonette could react, Joseph was behind her and then hit her in the back of the head with the end of his knife. She went down and Joseph moved to stand next to Michael. "Any reason why she's targeting you?" He asked curiously as he put his knife back in it's sheath. The woman was pretty and looked like she could handle herself fairly well. The only thing she wasn't good at was keeping an eye on her surroundings. As evidenced by the fact that Joseph had hit her pretty hard in the back of her head.

Lonette frowned and then felt something hit her in the back of the head. With a little cry, she fell to the ground stunned. Stupid, stupid she hadn't even thought to look behind her. She had made a rookie mistake and now there were two of them. Her head was killing her and her vision swam a little bit as she struggled not to upchuck her breakfast. The other guy sure didn't hold back when he hit her, thankfully though her hand was still wrapped around her crossbow. Grimacing, Lonette forced herself into a standing position. "You must be Joseph." She spat in the direction of the man who had hit her.

"Either it's because of the constant increasing bounty on our heads, or she just wants to see me dead, like everyone else we come across," Michael said casually at Joseph's question, finally finishing getting off the blood from himself and his weapon. "Or maybe she's got a thing for 'crazy shit', like you," he added with as he gave his twin a blank look, before bothering to look back over at the girl. He didn't say anything, or seem to care still, as she addresses Joseph this time. However, now as he gave himself a second to give her another quickly look over... he then saw the frighteningly resemblance she held to someone he decided to 'forget' about years ago. Still, he did what he usually did and said nothing, and just nonchalantly started to walk back towards his horse.

Joseph nodded, he had a feeling that could be the case but the girl sure seemed like she had a grudge against one of them. As she spat his name, he raised an eyebrow at her "So you know my name congratulations, what's your deal anyway?" He asked as he folded his arms. The girl seemed more familiar with each second but Joseph was just about positive he had never seen her in his life. Plus she had a lot of anger built up in her, but Joey wasn't so sure if that was aimed at him or his brother.

Lonette felt her hand tighten on the trigger as she glared at Michael. "Or maybe it's because you knew my mother. No wait, let me rephrase you slept with my mother and had a child. Congratulations, I'm your lovely daughter." Lonette said with clear derision. "It took me a long time to hunt you down, by the time I started searching the trail was almost cold. However like any good daughter, I followed the bread crumbs right to you." Lonette continued with her voice shaking a little bit. She stepped a little closer, "You weren't even there when people broke into our home and killed her." She sounded disgusted then before she finally lowered her crossbow.

Michael just sat there silently, as always as his brother and the girl talked. Well, it was mostly just the girl spitting angry at him. But she did managed to catch his attention, by calling herself his 'lovely daughter', and for once Michael has no trouble believing someone who wasn't Joseph without question. Still, his expression stayed unreadable as he stared back at her, listening to her speak and stayed unmoving in his spot even as she stepped closer. "That's true, I wasn't," he said simply, eyes locked on her face the entire time. Damn, she was almost the exact image of Rebecca... how many years had it been now? 15-18? Well whatever, it didn't really matter now. "But that's because she didn't want me there," he added blankly.

Joseph's eyes flicked between the two of them, "So she's your daughter then?" He asked not quite able to hide his disbelief at that statement. "Which would make me...oh yeah ok I think I need a drink." Joseph muttered as the pieces started coming together for him. Michael didn't seem entirely phased by the notion but then Michael had one hell of a poker face and Joseph was sure he'd never know what exactly he was thinking. However if he was anything like Joseph, he'd probably want to forget that this little encounter had ever occurred and get wasted but Joseph was pretty sure Michael would surprise him with his reaction.

Lonette frowned at Michael's words, "And you expect me to believe that?" She asked in some disbelief, yet even as she said the words she knew he was being honest. Her mother had always been smart and if Lonette was correct, she may have wanted to protect Lonette. She sighed and slung her crossbow over her shoulder, "Fine well then I guess it was nice to meet you." She said with a little salute. "The name's Lonette..in case you wanted to know." She said as an after thought. She needed to process the new information. It wasn't often she got thrown for a loop like she had tonight.

"Knock yourself out," Micheal sad back to his brother at the drink comment, his eyes still glued onto Lonette, in what looked looked like a thhoughtful expression... He didn't reply anything bakc at her skeptical question, until she decided he wasn't worthy of her time apparently. Well, looks like she was smart too then, just like Rebecca was. Guess she needed a time for herself to think things through a little, and frankly Micheal couldn't blame, had he cared a bit more. "Make sure to ask the right questions next time," he just said casually, whistling over to his hourse who immedintly looked up from whatevr it had been doing and sprinted back over to him. He just knew Lonette would seek him up again. After tracking him down and finally founding him, she wouldn't jsut leave things like that. "Then maybe you'll actully learn something new." For now, he'll just join Jopseh on that drink.
