It was almost midnight when Lina, Eilonwy and Megara finally made it to the La Grand mansion. It wasn't as big as the King's castle, but for sure this house, they reached, was enormous.
Meg's mother was the king's youngest sister. She married a wealthy lord and moved in with him in his family mansion. That's why Megara had a surname that was different from her cousins, Odette and Jhon... Unfortunatly she didn't have a chance to know her father well, because she was born a few months after he died of consumption. In the city there were rumors that the lord wasn't actually a father of a girl, but Hera, Meg's mother, denied them. Young duchess' past was covered with shadows and mysteries, as well as this mansion. It was a dark and completly unfriendly looking place. "Welcome to the la Grand family!", Megara smirked. "You can turn back if you are afraid of gho-o-o-oust!" She giggled. "I'm kidding! As soon as we are in, you we feel yourself better, I promise!" She opened the gates with a key, that she was always holding with herself. "Follow me! All we need to do to get to the front door, is to walk, down a stone path, through a garden. Come on!"
"What would my friends think of this creepy looking garden, statues and mansion itself, if they didn't know me well enough? Would they really think that I'm a crazy witch?", she thought and went forward, following the road.

Lina almost staggered back when she saw the size of Megara's home. Her blue eyes widened and she could feel herself staring in awe. She had to pull herself out of it in order to follow Meg. Her friend was joking about ghosts and for a second, Lina was about to grab her own arms as a chill went through her, but then Meg declared that she was kidding. Lina couldn't help the childish pout that overtook her face even as she followed Meg through the gates. She couldn't help but wonder if she had dared walking into these grounds if she hadn't known it was Meg's home.

As Eilonwy got into the giant home with Lina and Meg, she heard the tall one welcoming them both to the giant mansion; the first thing that came to mind when entering was, "Whoa, this place is sure big." She hoped that one day when she got older, she would marry someone and own a giant mansion like this. It was magnificent and just beautiful. As she heard Meg mentioning that there could be ghosts lying around, she rolled her eyes, but, knew that she was joking around. "Meg, I think this place does not look creepy at all! I personally think it's really interesting. I do like the statues and the garden is just beautiful." She said, and and as she was going to give herself a small tour on her own, she didn't want to get lost in the giant house, so, she just continued to follow the two. The last time she been in a giant home like this was a long time ago, but she could not remember at all.

Megara grinned at the little girl's reply, "Huh, I see you're a brave one! When I was your age I was scared to go outside alone". Unfortunatley she didn't noticed Lina's fear and continued to talk about creepy stuff. "I wonder if there actually are real ghousts in here." She sigh, because she remembered Eris. "You know, one day I managed to... talk with one, but... she wasn't born here. She refused to answer my questions. One thing I only know about her, she was something more than just a regular ghoust," Megara clenched her fists, her face grew stern. "Maybe she was a deamon, powerful, dangerous, gruesome..!" Megara was ready to start cursing, but she calmed down and smiled. "Well, thankfully, she's gone" She hemmed. "And here we're!"
Finally, all three girls walked into the mansion. Instead of being met by the butler, Megara opend the front door on her own. "All the servants in the house, well,.." Megara closed the door behind her friends backs, "They are non. I live here alone," she gave a sad smile. "If you need something, just ask me about it. My magic is free to use tonight!" She laughed softly and raised both hands up in the air, they were glowing and turning sligtly blue color. A giant chandelier hanging from the ceiling lit the main room instanly. "Much better", said Megara. She stopped using her magic and smiled, "Feel yourself at home!"

Lina listened intensely to Meg's talking about ghosts and whether there might actual be some in the mansion. When she talked about a real one, one she had actually met in the past, a look of sadness overtook the older girl's face and Lina tilted her head to the side. Very few things seemed to make Meg sad. The sadness soon faded into anger though as Meg continued talking about this ghost she had met in the past, talking about how maybe it was a demon. Lina almost grabbed her hand to calm her down, but Meg calmed down on her own and declared that thankfully, that ghost was gone.
Lina at first felt sad when Megara mentioned that she lived alone with that sad smile on her face, but by the mentioning of her magic, she couldn't help but grin. It was such an amusing thing, this magic and now that she thought about it, their new friend Eilonwy had mentioned something as well. Something about being a cat, wasn't it?
"Eilonwy, you said you could turn into a cat, right? Would you mind showing us?" Lina asked with childlike innocence in her eyes. "I've never been close to a cat before!"

Megara gave a smile and took her friends' arms "I think we shall wait for the better moment for that to happen," she gigiled. "You both need something to eat," she walked down the corridor, gently holding each one of the girls' hands. She released both of them to open the door to the guest room in the end of the corridor. "Take a seat, I'll be back in a minute!" Megara walked out of the room to find some teacups and a tea pot.

@megara I understand! I'm jumping between RPs lately xD.
As she heard Meg explaining on what was going on inside her home life, as she was living alone, she gave out a small sad sigh, as she felt bad for her living on her own. She did call her brave, and she nods eagerly. "Yes, I may be a girl, but that does not mean I am a coward." She said, in a brave tone, as her mother taught her all the tips she needed to stand up for herself. She then heard her venting about some ghost ghost in the past; she did nothing but feel sorry for this poor woman and felt like giving her a hug. She then saw the coloring of chandelier turning blue, which looked really beautiful. Meg did seem really warm and inviting already, which she liked about her and Lina. She then turned to Lina who did request her to turn into a cat and it was a little shocking that she was never close to a cat before. "If you must, of course." She said and quickly ran somewhere quiet for her to shift. As she was about to go shift, she felt her hand being taken again by Meg and sat in a chair and looked around some more. Perhaps another time, she'll make her Lina's curiosity go into reality.

Lina was sure that Eilonwy had been about to grant her wish until Megara in her excitement had pulled them away by their hands. They were seated by a table and Meg offered them something to eat. At the mention of food, Lina's stomach growled and she instantly wrapped her arms around it, hoping to conceal the sound. She sincerely hoped that Meg hadn't heard it at least, but it was inevitable that Eilonwy had heard. Lina giggled awkwardly, standing by the fact that her stomach had growled instead of pretending it hadn't.

She made a silent promise to herself and thought about her reaction since this would be Lina's first time seeing a cat. She did feel a little bummed out at first since Eilonwy really wanted to show her the animal form that she uses on a daily basis but, she knew that the wait would be really worth it. She did look around the architecture of the mansion that Meg stayed in, and it did make her look small. She heard her stomach growing, and at the same time, her stomach started to growl, as she was craving for something; she hoped that it would not be bread or anything simple like that. She wanted to eat something more like chicken or fish, than just ordinary bread, and yet, she was getting sick of having it every night with her brother and mother. She wished that she could think of something else that she could teach mother to make. Hopefully, one of these days, she could learn on how to cook to make some good meals for her and her family. They didn't have much at home, but, she could think of something eventually.
