Odette relaxed, "Well that is a relief." She said and didn't fight him as he moved to hug her. Her arms moving to hold him back, her eyes fluttered close as she focused on the hug. She wanted to remember this, as cheesy as that sounded. As hard as it was though, she was the first to pull away. Her body ached at the absence but she didn't show it. "Thank you." She said quietly as she smiled up at him.

Phoebus couldn't help but feel like he was the bad guy in all of this. He was the one that led her on and gave in to his desires. When she pulled away from him, he did his best to hold his composure. It was for the best, really. "Don't get into any trouble though, okay? I can't have you getting hurt just because I'm not watching you anymore." he tried to tease her lightly, a small smile on his face.

Odette gave him a small smile at his words, "Don't worry I can handle myself, I'll miss having you watch my back though." She said with a little laugh. His eyes on her were enough to make her nearly forget herself several times over the course of the past few days. It was a little frightening how much of an effect he had on her and he didn't even know it, something that she slightly envied him for. |

Phoebus smiled and squeezed her hand one last time. "If anything happens, you come find me. Don't trust anyone else unless you feel comfortable with them." With that, Phoebus turned to leave, giving the princess the space that he had promised he would give her. They wouldn't speak as often and they had before, but she needed to know that he'd be there if something ever happened.
