History:
Daemon was an angel ,created by the god Mythos as a messenger to the human realm. He became a scholar and shared the written word of the gods with the humans. Over time, he had become rather attached to the humans, using every moment he could to study them. The gods had created the first batch of humans as immortals, which gave Daemon plenty of time to decipher their daily lives. He learned of emotions, of family, and of love.
After their numbers began to grow, the gods decided to take away their immortality, leaving the humans with a short lifespan and death plaguing their world. Babies were brought into the world only to leave once again because of old age or disease. This angered Daemon, shaking his faith in his creator as he was unable to understand why they could do this to their own creations. After the gods had taken away their immortality, the humans seemed to become an afterthought to them. The gods would neglect their creations and leave no messages for them. In order to keep the humans in faith, Daemon would travel to the human realm and share his knowledge only with those he deemed worthy. In rebellion against his creator, he taught the scholars of the world the magic of the gods; the ability to heal and live forever.
His actions were found out and the gods ordered the other angels to punish Daemon in the most effective way; death. Daemon fell from grace, falling to the human realm in an attempt to escape his fate. He hid in the forests of Paradise, only coming out of hiding when he absolutely needed to. Over the centuries, he began to acclimate to the life of the humans, using all that he had learned to blend in and almost become one of them. He never became attached to anyone, knowing that they would just disappear like smoke from his life as fast as they had entered.
