Once back at the safe house, Joseph shoved Odette inside and handcuffed her to the wall. Making sure she was going to stay put, he headed back outside and unsaddled his horse. Once he had tied off his horse, he went back inside and smirked over at the Princess who looked a little worse for wear. "I bet you're wishing you were still safe in your palace." He stated as he neared her. "Word on the street is that you're not a virgin anymore. Wonder if that's true." He said and gave her a lecherous smile. The Princess was after all a beautiful woman and he'd have to be blind not to see that. Yet she was more to Michael's tastes and not his own, "When tomorrow rolls around, your family will be notified and then that's when the real fun will begin." He said with a wide smile.

Odette had felt her heart sink the farther they got away from the palace. Once they reached the safe house, she was numb inside and allowed herself to be handcuffed to the wall. She wasn't sure what she had expected when he came back but she tensed all the same when he approached her. All her fears came rushing back to her and she turned her head away from him. "And who says I'm not? Does it even matter?" She asked woodenly as she raised her gaze to meet his own. Though she supposed it wasn't too much of a surprise that rumor had reached others about her feelings for the Captain. |

Kayley groaned as she rolled over in the bed, clutching the sheets to her body as her eyes flickered open. Her head pounded at any movement and she cursed herself for drinking with Joseph earlier. It couldn't have been more than a few hours ago that she had passed out and she pushed herself up into a sitting position. She froze when she realized that she was only in her underwear, her heart pounding in her ears."Wh-What?" Her grip tightened around the sheet as she looked around the room frantically, looking for Joseph. When she didn't see him anywhere near, she slowly climbed out of bed and grabbed a robe that was lying on a nearby chair. She had to find Joseph and figure out what the hell happened and why she was practically naked and asleep in his bed. They didn't.....no they couldn't have. Her hands shook as she tied the robe around her waist.
Running her fingers through her hair, Kayley walked through the house searching for Joseph. She froze when she heard voices where she had been held only the night before and she slowly made her way to the room. "Joseph? Are you in here?" She nudged the door open and stopped as she saw another young woman chained to the wall, her heart pounding in her ears again. Her gaze shifted over to Joseph, confusion showing in her eyes as she clutched the top of the robe closed, trying to hide her body beneath. "Wh-what's going on?"

Joseph looked up as Kayley entered the room, clutching his robe around herself. "I thought you'd be out for another few hours." Joseph commented dryly. His gaze moved back towards the Princess, "Your Highness...may I introduce you to Kayley." He said with mock formality as he waved in Kayley's direction. "As you can see Kayley, I've taken the liberty of having our dear Princess brought here for reasons that you will soon find out." He said with a little wink in Kayley's direction.

Odette looked up as another young woman entered the room wearing a robe and not much else, she looked down as Joseph mockingly introduced her. "Yes you still haven't told me your plan yet? I'm starting to wonder if you even have one." She said as she turned to look at Joseph. "I mean what use could you gain from a ruined princess? I'm sure my father would be happy to get rid of me, so please try and get your money's worth." Odette said as she turned away from them. Joseph could think whatever he'd like of her but Odette wasn't lying, once the news broke out that she was all but ruined she would be worthless to her parents. "Then again I could still be a virgin but you'd never know would you?" She asked as she turned to look over at Joseph. |

Kayla jumped when he winked at her, her arms wrapping around herself to try and make herself smaller. Her brown eyes widened when he revealed the woman's identity as the princess. "The princess? Why the hell did you kidnap the princess? Are you trying to get yourself killed?" Her gaze hardened as she looked at him and she knelt down next to Odette to check and see how much damage Joseph had done to her. "If you think I'm going to help you with this, you might as well chain me up again. I said I'd help you capture supernaturals, not the damn royal family." Kayley didn't look at him as she spoke to Joseph, her attention focused on checking over the princess.

Joseph chuckled, not at all perturbed by Odette's words, "Don't worry I'm sure your parents will like knowing that you're safe and sound." He said with a smug smile down at her before turning to look down at Kayley. "Hardly, in fact I think I made a good call. Besides I didn't even hurt her, well no more then she deserved." Joseph said with a little laugh. "Oh please, you didn't even leave the bed. So technically you didn't kidnap her, I did the kidnapping. You can thank me for that later." He stated with a wink.

Odette stared up at Joseph with an incredulous look, "And what makes you think people will still believe I'm a virgin after you've kidnapped me? My reputation is as good as ruined." She said quietly as she glanced down at herself. Her body stiffened just a little bit as the other girl moved to sit next to her, she wasn't sure what to expect from her. She had after all just been kidnapped so she wasn't entirely trustworthy of the other girl yet or her motives, besides that she helped this man kidnap supernatural people. She was pretty sure she could guess why she helped Joseph too, but that wasn't any of her business even if she was both intrigued and horrified by the whole situation. |

Kayley frowned at Josephs words and rolled her eyes. Her mind was still set on figuring out what had happened last night, but she wanted to make sure that the princess was alright. Kayley had heard of the rumors floating around town about the princess and her guard but she wasn't sure if they were true or not. She couldn't help but smile slightly at Odette's comment. She was right. A princess kidnapped by a strange man, stuff like that usually ended up in disaster. Though when the princess stiffened as Kayley checked over her, she frowned and slowly pulled away.
She made her way over to Joseph's side and clutched the robe closed so he couldn't see beneath it. "Where are my clothes by the way? I don't appreciate waking up like this..." Kayley kept her voice down to a whisper so Odette didn't get the wrong idea as to why she was dressed like this, but she was pretty sure it was too late for that. She couldn't remember a thing from earlier but finding out what happened could wait. Right now, she just wanted her clothes.

"You mean you don't remember?" Joseph asked with a raised eyebrow. He folded his arms as he studied Kayley, silently enjoying how she looked in his robe. "Well you threw your shirt at me and your pants...do you want me to go on?" He asked teasingly. He didn't really care how bad this might sound to a casual observer. Joseph wasn't the type who did but Kayley might be a little different. "You'll find them in the closet." He said after a moment. His gaze turned back to the Princess, "I was thinking of just sending a message to the Royal family but I am open to suggestions." He said mockingly.

Odette felt a little guilty as the other woman left. She was after all the only one who seemed to care that Odette was even a prisoner. Her eyes lifted as Joseph addressed her once again, "Sending a message, sounds like a great plan." She said sarcasm heavy in her tone of voice. A part of her realized that she was being ruder then she usually was, but Odette was sick and tired of being used. If Odette's family couldn't reach her in time then Odette had no intention of staying there any longer then she had too. True she wasn't a fighter like her brother but she had other skills. |

Kayley felt her cheeks grow warm at Joseph's words and punched him in the arm so he'd stop talking. Without saying another word, she scurried out of the room and ran back to the bedroom to retrieve her clothes. They were still a little torn from the woods but she just simply ran her hand over them slightly, using what little magic she could to mend the tears. When she returned, Kayley just stood behind Joseph and kept her eyes to the ground. At Odette's sarcastic remark, she couldn't help the small little giggle that left her lips and she quickly raised her hand to cover her mouth so Joseph wouldn't hear her. She understood Odette's attitude in all of this, after all, she herself had been in the same situation only nights before. Though Joseph still hadn't accepted her deal just yet, so it could easily happen again, but for some reason he was giving her a little bit of freedom. And besides, she liked it when someone could insult Joseph when she couldn't.

Joseph didn't really react when Kayley punched him in the arm, just raised an eyebrow at her as she ran out of the room. No doubt to fetch her clothes, his gaze landed on Odette and he smirked "I'm glad you think so." He said dryly as he moved towards her and held up the knife that he had threatened her with earlier. "I wonder what would happen if I scarred that pretty little face of yours? Your Prince Charming would probably loathe the sight of you if that were to happen." He said with a mocking smile down at her. He looked over as Kayley entered the room, "Don't worry though I'll keep your maidenhead intact." He said as he winked down at Odette before standing once more and leaving the house to stand out on the porch. |
