Fears: That his unlucky streak is going to get someone he loves killed again.
Personality: Cautious and smart, has a nasty temper and wants revenge for the grisly death of his baby sister Heidi. Curious as any normal cat he often gets into situations that only quick thinking and his (relatively bad) luck gets him out of. He is afraid he's cursed to be bad luck to those around him, but doesn't know for sure. He will do anything to keep himself and his loved ones alive. It's instinct
Background: He dimly remembers his parents who died when he was twelve in a traumatic accident shortly after Heidi was born. He raised her alone and did anything and everything he could to provide food, from stealing to working at taverns to begging. He had no pride when it came to staying alive. Recently the king's decree destroyed his life, as soldiers found Heidi at home and killed her based on the rumors that she and her brother were not human. Cale was away and came home to find that his sister was dead and their house burned to cinders. This ticked him off.
But after that whoever he got close to kept getting hurt, and no matter where he went trouble followed. Which led him to believe that he might be cursed, but he has no idea by whom or why. He's just trying to survive long enough to find the people that killed Heidi.
