Yay we survived the ball (Tag Angel & Miguel)

"Yeah, right," Miguel issued a nervous laugh and cleared his troat. After that the dog started to bark, so he had to let her out of his arms. Also, he slighlty opened the gate of the fence, so Angel could get in the yard. He closed the gate behind her and stood still, awkwardly scratching his head. Miguel and Jane were alone again — like for the tenth time,.. And Miguel still couldn't manage to confess his feelings for her! Of course, it was not the appropriate moment to make a move, but Miguel was afraid, since their last date complitly failed,.. "It's cold outside, so take this", he said and unclasped his silk cloak from his shoulders. A momet later, Miguel gently put the cloak around Jane's shoulders. "There" he smiled and looked up into her eyes. His hands were still on the clasp of the cloak, which meant that they both stood close to each other. Miguel averted his eyes and looked back down at the girl standing in front of him. He hesitated, "Jane, I.."

"Bless you," he said and smiled, brushing back a stray lock of her hair, that had fallen over one of her eyes, her gorgeous blue eyes. "Jane, I," he started out his sentence once again, but stooped, smiled and shook his head as if he knew in advance that she wouldn't accept his confession right now. "Are.. Are you sure you want to leave? It's too cold outside, and... You know my parents are always happy to see you here!" Miguel looked at Jane questioningly and quickly added, "Don't get anything wrong! I-I just don't want you to get ill, that's all..."

Miguel smiled good naturedly and supported the girl by the shoulder, so she could lean on his chest. He didn't see anything wrong with it, all he wanted is just to keep Jane warm and safe. Together they quietly entered the house and again went to the second floor. Upstairs Miguel gently opened the door to his bedroom, like he did only a few days ago. It felt like an an eternity had passed from the moment as they had met for for the first time but, no, it had been only couple of days since they shared this bed. Miguel closed the door behind the ladies' back, walked through the room and got something from the closet. "My Mom washed and left it "just in case," he smiled as he unfolded the nightie, that Jane wore a few nights before. Miguel put the nightgown on the bed and giggled, "And, as always, I promise not to peek!" He turned away from Jane and began to take off his own clothes.

Miguel finally took off his shirt, leaving only his underpants on, put the shirt on the stool and rapidly jumped onto the bed at his sudden movement. Than he sat, swaying slightly, on the side of the bed. He was looking out of the window, so he couldn't embarrass Jane, while she was naked. He chuckeled at her question, shook his head and rolled his eyes, "Ah, I see!" He giggled. "I hope you are not inclined to be jealous for you first see me with a betrothed in my arms, huh!" He urned his head, briefly glanced at her and smiled, "I have a couple in mind!"

Miguel got a little confused to the question, Jane asked him. "Oh. I think you got me wrong! I meant a couple of girls, not an actual "couple", heh, sorry..." Miguel blushed a little, leaned back and put his hands behind his head, relaxed as a cat. "Actually, I'm not quite ready to get married yet. I... I think I never fall in love for real!" He turned onto side, propping his head on a fist. "..and you? Did you ever fall in love with a stranger?" While Miguel pronounced these words, the door got slightly opened and the little doggie walked in, whimpering softly. "Oh, Angel! How could you think I forgot about you!" The dog jumped on a bed, wagging her tail from side to side, so Miguel could now grab her in his arms and hug her tightly. "You're my only little angel!" The dog barked twice and let out a happy whine. "Shush, you'll wake up the whole house," he whispered and poked at her nose a bit.

Miguel blushed once again, when Jane winked at him playfully. He petted the dog, to calm her down and staired outside the window. "Yes, love is crazy," he repeated her words and got deep in his own thoughts. "Stupid Miguel," he swore inwardly, and his lips broke into a self-deprecating smile. The young man remembered, he was kinda drunk when he asked Jane out,.. and when he almost confessed his feelings to her back then, on the festival. He was such a dumbass! Miguel came to the conclusion that he didn't deserve Jane, or maybe...

"I hope we both will feel when the time will come, Jane," he smiled and covered himself with a blanket. After a few moments of silence, he spoke again, "Speaking of feelings. You know,... On that day I met you,.. I felt.. something special about you." Angel circled a few times and lay down at their feet to sleep. "I... I want to say you, that... You are a kind person with a true heart". He almost reached out and took her hand, but stopped and put it on the bed between their bodies. He suggested that it wouldn't be nice to touch her once again against her will. He learned his lesson well.

"Thank you for putting up with me for being me," he gave a sight and smiled, "You are the girl I will always remember, the girl I always wish I knew." He blushed a little and looked away. Embarrassing. "Thank you... S-sweet dreams, Jane," he rolled over and closed his eyes, ready to fall asleep.
