"Nice to meet you, Gothel." Laila said with a smile. "Actually, I suppose I've to stay here until I find a place of my own - if that's alright with you?! I don't have alot of money, but this woman here said that sometimes it's enough to just help out around the inn?" Laila asked and gestured towards Jane - who now left the kitchen.

Rapunzel gave the girl a reassuring smile, wanting the young woman to feel relaxed "I never ask for money from my guests, most of them arrive just like you. Little money, no ties, it'd be cruel of me to ask anything of them. As long as you pitch in with the cooking and cleaning, you can stay as long as you need to. The only exception is the bar if you want any kind of ale or beer, you will have to pay." She gave a jokey wink before adding "Might I suggest the Hobgoblin Cider if you are drinking though!"

"Thanks, that's very kind of you." Laila said with a small smile as she went over where Jane had stood - and began to eat up the rest of the food from the plate. "How.. Well.." Laila hesitated before she quickly turned to Gothel. "You're human..!?" She said with a questioning tone in her voice. "Or are you some sort of witch?"

Rapunzel looked at the girl in confusion. "I am a human, yes." She said slowly "I know some basic charms and a lot of herbology, but my mother was a human and... I think my father was also." She glanced at the girl, slightly nervous. She'd never been asked a question like that, and began to wonder if the woman was perhaps a spy. "Why do you ask?"

Laila was shocked by Gothels answer, but still knew that she would say that. Her instincts were never wrong. "Well.. I mean.. You're human - and you spends time with those who isn't. Do you run this inn just to be able to attract supernaturalbeings, and then get them arrested?" Laila said with a dark tone in her voice. How could anyone trust a human?

Rapunzel hung her head and let out a sigh, before looking up and staring Laila directly in the eyes. "I have seen terrible things. A young girl hung by the neck because she was a werewolf, neighbours- who had been friends for decades- turning one another in for meagre profits, young mothers fearing for their babies lives whenever a guard was in town. I may be a human, but I know injustice when I see it. I gave up everything I had for this place, a place of peace-" She rubbed away a single tear that ran down her cheek "I know you have a right to be skeptical but please, believe me when I say I'm on your side."
