Ariel was home alone. It had been a week after visiting James and Frollo still had her underneath his hand. She had tried to escape but it had failed. Frollo knew every little secret passage that was in James' house. No matter how hard or how fast she was, he was always a step ahead of her. Of course he punished her for that.. Which made her never attempt it again. She picked up the plates that were on the table. She had made food for her and Frollo but he wasn't home. Ariel made sure to put the food in a good place to where it would stay warm. She carried the plates to the counter next to the sink. But when she was about to place them on there, they slipped out from her hand, causing them to shatter on the ground. Ariel gasped as she jumped back. She let out a cry as she threw her arms to her head as she started to cry. "Oh gosh.." She whispered as she lowered to her knees to pick up the plates. But as she did she felt her whole body get swept away by the emotions she was feeling.
Ariel grabbed onto the counter with her hands as she stayed on her knees. Tears ran down her cheeks as she broke down. What was she still doing here? Why was she even alive? Why wasn't she dead yet, why wasn't she numb to all of this pain? She wanted this suffering to end. Her hands gripped at the counter as her eyes closed tightly before she let out a cry and ran out of the room. Her pink dress flowed behind her as she ran out of the back door and in the small forest that was behind James' house. She ran to the well James had showed her, it was where he went when he needed to clear his head. She needed it now.
Ariel fell to her knees as her arms laid on the well as she cried on it. "I can't do this anymore.. I can't. Mythos why are you doing this to me? What have I done? Is this a punishment for me? If so why won't you kill me? I can't do this anymore, I don't have any more hope.. I can't, I just can't believe anymore." Ariel cried out as she lowered her head to her arms as she cried.
Little did she know her body was glowing and a mark was starting to appear on her neck. It was a purple star, and it belonged to a rare supernatural breed called the Celestians. Who were magical beings who could heal others. They appeared like angels and had markings on their hands up to their elbows. But they were not angels. They were just beautiful creatures who healed others from their wounds, sorrows, madness, and etc. They were like guardians. But they were weak when it came to having powers to defend themselves. Other than their healing powers they were just like humans. They couldn't heal themselves. And she was turning into this creature. This was why her powers were no longer working, her body had rejected the change and decided this was the only way it could save her..

Daemon had been watching from afar, making sure to keep out of sight as he watched over this young girl. There had been whispers about her traveling the atmosphere for a year now and he finally had to give in to his curiosity. She seemed to be of importance to the angels, yet they weren't doing anything to help her. He stood outside of the grand home, catching glimpses of the girl through the window. Over the past few weeks, he knew all that had been happening to her, but he never intervened. It was against regulations...He shook his head and frowned. Regulations....He was still functioning like he was still a damn angel. A glimpse of the girl brought his attention back to reality as she ran out the back of the house. Her words fluttered through the air in a whisper to the gods.
"I can't do this anymore.. I can't. Mythos why are you doing this to me? What have I done? Is this a punishment for me? If so why won't you kill me? I can't do this anymore, I don't have any more hope.. I can't, I just can't believe anymore."
"Mythos will not help you child..." His words resonated in the wind around the girl, feeling like an echo. A gust of wind flew over the woods, pushing a cloud of leaves and flowers around in a whirlwind until she could barely see anything through them. Once they settled, Daemon stood across from her on the other side of the well. "He cannot help you with your journey, only you can." He snapped his fingers and the water of the well began to give off a heavenly glow. It sparkled like the stars in the sky, swirling like the galaxies in space. "You are a child of the stars...that is not his realm. But I can help you."

"Mythos will not help you child..."
Ariel turned around when she heard a male's voice. But she couldn't see anyone as a whirlwind blurred her vision until it settled. She looked back at the well only to jump up to her feet when she saw the man there. She placed her arms on her chest as she stared at him in fear before she watched him make the water sparkle like the stars. Her expression turned into one of confusion as he spoke about her being a child of the stars. And how he could help her. She backed away from the well, finding herself becoming uncomfortable. What was he talking about and how could he help her? How could she be the child of the stars when she was the monster that she was? It didn't make sense.
"How can you help me? What kind of prank is this?" She asked him as she was starting to become convinced this was a cruel joke. "No one can help me, not even you.. So please whatever you plan to do to me, do it now and get it over with so I can go back home." Ariel said as she braced herself for whatever this man had planned for her. She had enough of being tricked and forced to become someone's toy. It was like that for Thrax and Shan-yu, and now it was like that with Frollo. And this man was probably wanting to do the same thing to her as well. But as he continued to stand there and not advance towards her, she felt even more uncomfortable..
Ariel bit her lip as she started to turn away. Wanting to walk away from him now. This was a bad idea but she didn't care.. Not anymore.

Daemon sighed and flicked his wrist, sending a gust of wind that slammed all the doors and windows to the house closed. It was understandable, her reaction, but he had never been one to have the patience for stuff like this. "Believe me if you will or not, just ask yourself. How did I get in here? You know your little master has this place locked up like a fortress." He smirked as he took a seat on the edge of the well. Pulling a cigarette out of his pocket, he grabbed a match to strike against the cold stone. The small flame gave off a strong glow in the darkness, sending his shadow in all directions in a strange manner. "I'm not your average...man. I have some experience in this area and I am offering you my help. Whether you take it or not is your decision." To prove his point, black wings sprouted from his shadow, giving him the true silhouette of an angel. Though on his human figure, nothing had changed. His shadow wasn't like that of a normal angels. It didn't glow like the heavens but came as a void, releasing shadows in every direction, showing the proof of what he was; a fallen angel. This girl was lucky he even came out of hiding for this. If the others knew he was even alive, much less still doing his work as an angel, he would be killed on the spot. He brought the match up to the end of his cigarette, lighting it up before flicking the dead match into the well. The embers gave off a faint orange glow, separating his form from the darkness behind him. "I won't hurt you. And if you tell me to leave, I will. Just make sure you think before you say anything. This is the only chance you'll get from me."

Ariel winced when he spoke about Frollo. She watched as he lit a cigarette before noticing his shadow was a bit strange. She watched in silence as he spoke before she saw wings pop out on his shadow. Immediately she looked at him to see if he now had wings, but she saw nothing. Her eyes narrowed curiously before looking back at the wings. She slowly brought her hands to her eyes and wiped the tears off of her cheek. He was an angel? No if he was an angel he would glow and his wings would be on him as well. No, he was different. She focused hard on the wings before noticing what was so different about them. They weren't exactly his shadow. They were his wings. If it was his shadow it wouldn't have the details it had on it. The feathers were real and were very tempting to touch but she kept her distance.
He was a fallen angel..
Her eyes went back to him as he told her he could help her. But if she told him to leave she would never get this chance again. She stood there in silence for a minute to think it over. If he truly was here to help her.. maybe he could help her.
"What can you do for me?" Ariel finally asked, showing her curiosity now. He was offering to help her and she wanted that help. "And what do you mean I'm a child of the stars? Was I always one?" She asked as she walked a bit closer to him. But she winced a little when she smelled the smoke from his cigarette. Gosh how she hated those. It was enough to make her stop where she was so she couldn't smell it as much. As she waited for his answer she noticed faded markings on her hands, causing her eyes to widen.
She brought her hands closer to her face and studied the design. It was a white floral designed and it faded all the way up to her elbow before it disappeared. She jumped slightly when it disappeared before looking back up at him. "What's happening to me?"

Daemon smirked at her reaction, knowing all too well that he had gotten her attention. The wings faded from his shadow as he didn't want his identity to be shown for long The last thing he needed was to be found out after centuries of hiding.. "I can't stop the changes, but I can help you manage them." He glanced up just in time to noticed the disgust on her face and frowned. It had been so long since he was around another person that it was hard to not get sucked into his own little world every moment. He flicked the cigarette off into the distance, it disappearing before it even hit the ground. "Sorry, old habits." Clearing his throat, he stood up and shoved his hands in his pockets. "No, you haven't always been one. But you have earned your place to become one. You've survived through all of your suffering and this is your reward." He took a few steps towards her as she turned her focus to her hand and smiled. She was the first Celestian that he'd met. They were so rare that if he hadn't been around when they were first created, he wouldn't believe that they even existed. "You must have already noticed that your powers aren't working anymore. You can't heal, you can't harm, and you're not hungry anymore, isn't that right? All of that is going to go away. You'll become a healer and a guardian. After everything you've been through, now you have someone to protect." He of course was referring to the man she had fallen in love with. She was already trying to protect him, but with her new form, she can do a better job of that. "If you can make it through the next few weeks, everything will be better. You can be with him and keep him safe."
