Some days have gone by since the last time Jane spent another day at Miguels home and today they would finally meet again ... on purpose ... for some shopping or rather to have a nice stroll around the shops since with all the tension keeping to go on between the human citizens and the non humans she thought it might be good to also adjust her fashion more to common style. Besides she didn´t know too many people yet, who could be a better company than Miguel her apparently best friend? So there she was, leaning against a wall waiting for her "date" to appear.

Miguel ran down the street as fast as he could. Now he was the one, who failed to show up in time. The man was panting and slowing down to catch his breath. "I... Jane... Whew! Sorry, I... w-wait," He finally reached her and stood still. He nodded a greeting and thrust his hand into the inner pocket of his shirt. "I... I was supposed to come on time," he panted once again, clutching something small in his fist. "I thought I lost this!" He opened his hand, revealing a heart-shaped gold locket. "It's for you," he smiled and raised his eyes to meet hers. "Whenever I go, you'll always be in my heart," Miguel thought inwardly, but said nothing. Just smiled a little too sweetly and nodded once. "So,.. I think now we need to find you a dress to match with this necklace, don't ya' think?" He laughed and smiled wide.

"It´s fine. Take your time to catch your breath I promise I won´t sneak away." Jane greeted him with a happy chuckle while Miguel has been busy with finding something in his clothes. As he revealed what he had carried with him and for what purpose Jane looked at him with wide opened eyes in suprise and for a moment was left without words. The small but beautiful locket surely was the most gorgeous jewlery she had seen yet. She was just about to glomb him when she decided to do otherwise first and crossed her arms while she gave him a sassy smirk in a naughty way. "Aaaaaaand where exactly did you stole it from or do I rather have to ask from who?" Jane joked before her expressions finally softened and she glombed him right before she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Just kidding don´t worry. But anyways, I honestly thank you Miguel. It surely is the most wonderful gift I have ever recieved."

Miguel's hand ran over the back of his neck. He rolled his eyes and chuckled, "I'm like Robin Hood! I stole from the rich and gave to the poor," he said jokingly. However, just a moment later, the young man rethought what he had said, and added, "Oh, I-I didn't mean that you are poor or.. ugh, sorry, that was a bad joke!" He blushed and gave an apologetic smile, but then he blushed even more, when he found himself in Jane's arms. "I-I... I'm glad you like it! Ugh, and I swear, this necklace wasn't stolen. I-I bought it myself," he said, still trying to recover from the kiss, and added inwardly "with the help of my mom... Thanks, mom." Miguel smiled once again and encircled Jane's head with his arms to put the necklace on, "It... it really suits you", Miguel said, blushing slightly, when the necklace finally was on Jane's neck. His warm hands dropped to her waist and slid to the back, pulling her gently to him. "You're so beautiful," he thought and smiled with delight, "I know, that today we've got a lot of things to get done, but I-I don't want to go anywhere. I want to stay here, holding you, forever. I don't want to let you go..."

Jane chuckled as he blushed about his joke. "No need to feel sorry. I surly am anything but rich. It´s thanks to some lucky circumstances that I have a home for pretty much free as well as food so that I can actually have a little money to spend."
As she finally felt the necklace not in her hands anymore but around her neck and on her chest were it belonged she just had to blush a little. It was not the first time she wore such jewlery but back then it always has been a family member who helped her with a necklace. To be honest though Miguel actually grew to be like one for her ... and maybe even more though she couldn´t really describe or be sure about how she really felt about him just yet. Her thought however went right back to the very present time to which she found herself kind of hugged by Miguel making her chuckle a little. "Sooooo you wanna stay a little longer for a cuddle I assume?"

Miguel gave Jane back a smile of his own and gently kissed her on the cheek. "I totally would love to! But it's time to spoil you even more!" He giggled inwardly, stepped back and dramatically bowed his head for a moment. "Sir Miguel is at your service tonight!.. So what do you wish to try on first, my Princess?" He said and picked her hand up, squeezing it softly. He kissed it just like back then, when they first met. Ah, those sweet memories...

"Spoil me even more?" Jane repeated with a giggle, hardly being able to believe what she just heard. She came from rather simple origins so getting things was either out of need or for special occasions like a birthday but just because people felt like it? "Oh I don´t know ..." She said as she slowly moved her hand away from him and crossed her arms while she looked away from Miguel. "How about ..." Just as she almost turned completely away from him she hugged him again and gave him a quick kiss on his cheek as well before she took his hand and got serious again. "Okay now that you know how much I appreciate your attention, how about we just go to the first shop that hits us? Or would you have have any idea where to go first cuz I don´t and I don´t mind the place since I have good company either way."

Miguel practically melted when he felt Jane's lips touching his skin. A chill wave of cold ran in his body. "Mrrr," he purred like a cat and smiled widely. "Oh-ho-ho, I know the place that you will totally love!" he rolled his eyes and gave her a little nudge. "No, seriously! I think you will like it," he smiled and glared quickly on Jane's tiny waist. "So... Do you trust me?" he winked and looked right into her eyes.

Jane was quite puzzled by his behavior and looked at him questioning. However for as much she knew she indeed did trust him or at least trust him enough to give it a try to blindly follow him. "Well I don´t think I have an option anyways do I?" She answered with a playfull wink.
