Aurora made her way back into her cave and paused, her eyes turning into slits as she sensed a familiar presence. She had known this day would come eventually so she should have been better prepared. She stepped into the cave and snorted when she saw Naveen reclining on the throne as if he belonged there. "I was wondering when our paths would cross again." Aurora said as she studied him warily. It had been centuries since she had last seen him, not since she had changed him. Centuries in which Naveen would have adapted to his weredragon form, which looking back had been one of Aurora's many mistakes. She should have just turned him into a frog, it probably would have suited him better. "You know where the exit is I'm sure, why don't you be a good little weredragon and get out." Aurora demanded with her hands on her hips.

Naveen had been waiting for a few hours in the cave for his old friend to come back home. He reclined on the throne as he traced his thumb over the shimmering red stone and grinned. There had been rumors of the late Claude Frollo had recently obtained a stone such as this and Naveen knew he had to get his hands on it. Earlier that night, he had broken into the man's home, finding it tucked away safely in the basement. It didn't matter after all, the man was dead now, he wouldn't miss it. He had told Eric that he had some unfinished business to take care of before he could come home again. He had to give her some credit though, it was a pain in the ass getting in here without setting off a single trap. Aurora had seriously stepped up her game over the centuries. A sound off in the distance caught his attention, causing him to look up. There she was, her golden hair immediately drawing his eye. He slipped the stone into his pocket so she wouldn't see it right away, wanting to surprise her a little bit later on. "Lovely to see you too sweetheart. Did ya miss me?" Naveen grinned at her, knowing all to well that his sudden appearance must have irritated her. He swung his legs to the ground and stood on his feet before striding towards her. "What's the rush? I don't get a hello after all of this time? And I thought you'd be happy to see me..." He pouted before stopping only a few inches from her, shoving his hands in his pockets. "I suppose that's what I get for what I did....but what you did was worse." His gaze hardened and his hand slipped around the stone in his pocket, squeezing it just enough to send a little pain her way. He made sure to keep the stone hidden in his pocket, not wanting her to realize that he had it just yet. After all, he had spent centuries planning his revenge on her...to give it away so easily was just a waste. When she gasped in pain, he couldn't help but smirk and walked around her like a vulture stalking a wounded creature. "You really shouldn't have turned me sweetheart...I've gotten pretty good at what I do."

Aurora frowned as he kept talking, she had a feeling he knew something she didn't. "Hardly, in fact if I were you I would board the next ship-" She broke off as a very familiar pain struck her. A gasp of pain left her lips unbidden as she watched him circle her. "You always were a fast learner...it's too bad I didn't go with my first choice and turn you into a frog." She growled as she kept her head held high. "I would have had so much fun roasting you." She added as she studied him thoughtfully. "You have something that belongs to me...funny the last person who had it died. What's to say the same won't happen to you?" She asked with a damn near feral smile. Seeing him made her far more nervous then she'd ever admit. While it had been centuries since there last encounter, he had managed to trick her. She had even fooled herself into believing that he had loved her, when he had only used her to kill off her kind. A little sigh left her then, "So what's it to be Naveen? A duel to the death? Trial by fire?" She asked in a bored tone, determined not to show how unnerved she was by his arrival.

Naveen chuckled at her words. "A frog, really? After all we went through together, I'm just glad you had the courtesy to give me power instead of...well, mucus." When she mentioned that he had something that belonged to her, he sighed and came to a stop a few feet in front of her. He had given it away too easily..it was stupid to cause her pain so soon but it was just so damn tempting. His hand tightened around the necklace before he pulled it out of his pocket, dangling it from his fingertips so it glimmered in the light. "You mean this little gem? Tell me sweetheart, how did that sick old bastard get a hold of it? You shouldn't have been so careless..." He squeezed it in his palm for a moment, enjoying the sound of her in pain before he put it back in the safety of his pocket. "You can't kill me darling. You know that. After all, you're the one that gave me this power, I'd love to see you try and take it away." His gaze hardened, the color of his eyes changing to a glowing orange with specks of red dancing through them like fire. He stepped towards her until they were only inches apart. Though she was doing very well at hiding it, he could sense that she was uncomfortable with his sudden appearance.

"I think the mucus would have suited you better." Aurora said with a biting smile. She couldn't stop the gasp that left her as she saw her heartstone necklace dangling from his hand. The red stone glinted in the light like a dying star, the golden chain was thick and woven from some of the lighter scales that she had had as a dragonling. "It fell...I lost it during an incident." She said, refusing to tell him of the events during the Masquerade. She whimpered as his hand squeezed her heartstone causing pain to flare up. Her hands tightened into fists, her nails sharpening into talons as she glared up at him. "I'm a lot stronger then you are Naveen." She said, her own eyes turning a deadly red with black pupils. "I hate you! You went and you used me!! You let me think I loved you and went behind my back and killed those I loved!" Aurora snapped and shoved him. "I loved you, you son of a bitch!" She added, her eyes slowly turning back to their normal shade. In fact a small part of her still did but she would never let him know that, she was far too prideful to say as much.

Naveen couldn't help but grin at her outburst. When she shoved him away, his hand shot up and gripped her wrist before he shoved her against the cave wall, pinning her in place. He pressed his body flush against hers to keep her under his control. "And what makes you think that I didn't love you in return? I used you yes, but don't you dare tell me that I never cared." His voice was quiet but hard, keeping it's intensity as he stared her down. He had used her but over the time he had been with her, he'd be lying if he said that he never had feelings for the woman. His grip tightened on her wrists as she tried to fight him off and he pressed his body against her more. She couldn't get away from him, not unless he let her. Naveen leaned forward and captured her lips in his, forcing a kiss on her. Her taste exploded in his mouth as he used one hand to grip her waist, moving it down after a moment and gripped her ass.

Aurora had been about to smack him but he surprised her and pinned her against the cave wall. She glared up at him, a few strands of her blonde hair falling in front of her face. Her whole body stiffened at how close he was to her now, "Then why did you betray me?" She demanded, angry tears working their way free from her eyes much to her annoyance. Making a face, she tried to fight free of him but Naveen had pinned her rather effectively. She huffed and lifted her face to stare at him, not prepared for the kiss that he slanted over her lips. Aurora jerked and found herself responding with her teeth as she nipped at his lip. She hated how much she had missed the taste of him and how it felt when he would kiss her like this. When she had been with him, while it was rough she had enjoyed it. Her body pressed up against his own as she kissed him angrily, enjoying the taste of his lips on hers. She jerked as he gripped her ass, and wished she could retaliate in kind.

Naveen felt her body instantly respond to him, her teeth nipping at his lips. Despite her hate for him, he knew she still couldn't resist him. He pulled back slightly, releasing his grip on her so she could have some mobility and he could respond to her question. "I can't change who I am." Naveen reached up and wiped a tear from her cheek. The taste of her still lingered on his lips, his hands moving down her hips before they grazed against her stomach. His hand stopped for a moment over her stomach, feeling it for a moment before he looked up at her. "What the hell is this?" Naveen gripped the bottom of her shirt, lifting it up so he could see he stomach clearly. Her skin was still as smooth as ever but her stomach had a little bump, revealing only that one possible thing could be there. "You're pregnant?" He dropped her shirt before shoving himself away from the wall, putting a distance between them. His gaze hardened as he looked at her. How could she have gotten pregnant? There were no more dragons in this kingdom or any of the nearby ones to impregnate her, he had made sure of that. Now that she was pregnant, that only gave him more dragons to take care of later.

Aurora hated how easily he could sway how she felt with just a few words. "You didn't have to drag me into it." She muttered, the feeling of his lips against hers still lingered in her memory. Her whole body froze as his hands felt the budding bump of her stomach. She swallowed hard and didn't move to stop him as he lifted her shirt to study her swelling stomach. "Yes I'm pregnant." She said quietly as she pressed herself closer against the wall. The look in his eyes bothered her, "They won't be full dragons...their father is human." She said quietly, one hand slowly moving to graze across her stomach. "You can't kill them Naveen, please! You've killed everything else that I've ever had." She said as she fell to her knees, not able to support herself. The thought of losing her children terrified her, even though they weren't born yet she knew she'd fight tooth and nail to keep them safe. "I didn't even think I would get pregnant...I mean we tried and I-" She broke off, thinking of their relationship brought back memories she'd rather forget. "I really loved you....I still do." She said quietly. "If you crush that stone now, you'll have your revenge...all the dragons in the world will be dead. That's what you want isn't it?" She asked as she raised her head to look up at him.

Naveen grit his teeth, already hating this stupid little human for interfering with his plans. He planned on making her life a living hell, at least for how long he had suffered before he accepted his curse. She had no idea how much he hated her for what she did, how much he hated himself. Some of the scars on his body were from his own attempts on his life back then. They served as a reminder for him. His hand moved to his pocket, holding the stone lightly in his grasp as he listened to her beg. When she fell to her knees, he moved his gaze from her, not liking the sight of her upset like this. It reminded him of the day she found out about what he had done and how she cried then too. His grip tightened around the stone, but not enough to cause her any pain. Suddenly the stone flew across the room, landing in the dirt in front of her. Naveen glanced at her before turning his back on her and taking a few steps away. "Don't lose it again. If it ends up in my hands again, I will do it." His voice was cold and bitter as he spoke, not wanting to look at her in that moment. He wasn't even sure why the fact she was pregnant upset him and he hated that.

Aurora was pulled out of her thoughts when she saw and heard her heartstone landing right in front of her. She blinked in surprise, not having expected Naveen to actually give it back. His cold words hit her then as she picked up the stone with a shaky hand. Feeling it, back where it belonged made her feel completely whole again. A feeling she had missed, "Thank you, I didn't think you'd-" She broke off as she slowly stood up, the stone clutched in her hand. Never again would she let her heartstone out of her sight, it was too dangerous out of her hands. She watched him turn to leave and hesitantly stepped towards him, "I wasn't lying about what I said earlier...I still love you, even though I know things will never be the same." She said quietly as she used a spell to send the stone into a secure vault in her hoard. "A part of me even wishes that you had been the father." She said with a sad little laugh. Everything she said at that moment was true and she felt no guilt in admitting just what she felt for him.

Naveen waved her off. He himself never expected to give the stone back to her so easily. "Don't thank me. I mean it." At her next words, he slowed to a stop, hesitantly glancing at her over his shoulder. Just hearing her say that brought back memories, memories that he had spent centuries forgetting. "It's too late for that. It's in the past..." He frowned and dropped himself onto the throne, not even caring that his whole body gave off the sense that he was irritated, hurt even. Naveen stared at her, trying to decide if he had made the right decision. He could have ended it all, her betrayal, everything that he had worked for, but he gave it up. All because this stupid woman was pregnant. "How many children?" He mumbled the question, keeping his gaze glued to her. If he had to take care of this later on, he wanted to know what he was up against. He would wait until Aurora herself was dead before he made any attempt on her children. A mother's children should never die before her...he knew that much.

Aurora frowned, somehow wishing that things hadn't ended the way they had between them. "I know it is." She said quietly, her body thinking of how it had still felt when they had kissed. Even after everything he had done, she still enjoyed how he made her feel. A part of her felt disgusted that she was so easy for him, even though he didn't deserve it. She looked up at his words, "I'm not sure yet...I won't know until I give birth to the eggs." She said quietly, saying that made the whole thing that much more real. "I know you still want to kill them....but I am asking you please don't. If our relationship meant anything at all to you...would you have killed our children?" She asked quietly, it was a thought that kept her some nights. If she and Naveen had had kids, would he have gone and killed them? Not caring that she herself might have had a problem with it? Her heart twisted as she studied Naveen sitting on the throne, how could he have walked back into her life like this? How could she still have feelings for him?

Naveen couldn't help but scoff at her question. "You won't like my answer to that." His eyes showed a hint of sadness before he flicked his gaze from her. If it had been his own children, Naveen honestly didn't know what he would have done. He was raised as a dragon hunter, it was all he knew. A part of him wished he had been the one to get her pregnant but the other was relieved. He picked up a jewel from the ground, tossing it in his hand as he thought. "You know how I was raised. Everyone in my life was a dragon hunter. My parents, my friends. Then you came along...You were so different from them." He smiled softly to himself as he remembered when they had first met. It had been at the harbor when he first came to Paradise all that time ago. She was standing there, just watching the crowds go by. That's when she first caught his eye. He had been such an idiot back then to fall for her. "That's what made me love you. You made me want to change who I was...that is, until I found out what you were." His gaze moved back up to hers, anger starting to show through. He threw the jewel over his shoulder and stood up from the throne. "Then I realized, what if it was all a game to you? Maybe you were trying to get rid of one more hunter just to save your head." Naveen started to slowly walk up to her, backing her up against the wall once again. "That's why I did what I did. I killed everyone you loved, just to see what you would do. And then you killed me...bringing me back as one of you." He gripped her waist suddenly, pulling her towards him as the anger showed in his orange eyes again. "So to answer your question, Yes. I would have killed our own children. So don't expect me to give up so easily on these." He smirked before capturing her lips once again. Whether his words were true or not, he himself didn't know. All he wanted to do was make her angry, watch her squirm.

Aurora felt her body tense as he kept talking, she well remembered the day how they met. She had been young in years then, still not fully developed to her powers. He had caught her eye, he was handsome and charming...and she had fallen for him. All along, she had fooled herself into believing that he had felt the same way. Her eyes shot up at his words, she hadn't planned on him ever finding out, in fact she had wanted to become human. What he was saying, made everything she had ever been worried about true. "That's not true! I wanted to change!" She said as her body responded to his hands pulling her waist closer towards him. Pure anger hit her then at his words before he kissed her again. Her hands gripped at his shoulders as she responded to his kiss. Damn him for having such an effect on her and not even seeming to care! She pulled back and glared up at him, "Fuck you." She growled, hating how tempting he appeared to her. Most of all though, she hated how he was twisting everything on her. Blaming her for what had happened between them, "You lied to me too, I thought you actually loved me. I was ready to give up being a dragon just so I could be with you. That's when I found out that you were killing my kind...and you just sat there and laughed. All I wanted was a normal relationship but I didn't realize what was going on. Sometimes I'd see this look in your eyes, that just scared me. It was like you couldn't stand the sight of me, and I wondered if somehow you knew. Which of course you did, how could you not? I am the very thing you hate, and for some reason you still kept up the facade of loving me! When all along you could have just killed me! Why didn't you?" She asked quietly, as she stared up at him. One hand still held onto his upper arm as she studied him curiously.
