He smirked and used his hand to lift her chin, staring into her eyes. "Believe me sweetheart, I would take you right here, right now whether you liked it or not. But that little human toy of yours wouldn't be too happy about that now would he?" At her words, he shoved her against the wall, holding her firmly under his grasp. A deep chuckle left his throat as he caressed her cheek softly like a lover would. "Oh, my dear Rose...Didn't it ever occur to you why I saved you for last? I wanted you to suffer...after all, one of your little..oh what was it...sisters? Well, she killed my whole village." Naveen tightened his grip on her, enjoying the bit of pain she showed from under his grasp. "After I had a little..chat with her, she told me what you were. I wanted to watch you suffer how I had. My family murdered before my eyes. Besides, I still have a little trinket from your sister." He pulled back slightly, his fingers tugging at the necklace around his neck until it came out of his shirt so she could see it. In the center hung a small dragon's tooth. He had it polished and preserved to it could stand up against the centuries, waiting for the day that he could have Aurora see it. Naveen had always been one to take a trophy from his kills. Back home, he had chests full of all kinds of dragon scales and teeth, but this particular one held a significance to him. It did belong to the sister of his old lover after all. She probably didn't even realize what her sister had done but he didn't care. That night was what had pushed him over the edge.

Aurora shuddered at his words and grimaced as he pressed her back against the wall, "My sister? Which?-" She broke off as she saw the dragon tooth on the necklace in his hand, she recognized it even though she really wished she didn't. She didn't even register how much more painful his grip had become as she stared down at the necklace in his hand as if it was the only thing she could see. "I never knew...I never knew." She felt even worse now, her family had always enjoyed going after dragon hunters they had seen it as a game. Aurora on the other hand had been much more invested in learning magic and meeting people outside of her dragon family. It wasn't until after their deaths that she had investigated what had happened to them, a flash of anger hit her then. "Why didn't you ever ask me? Or better yet, why not trust in the fact that I would have fought for you? I loved you enough to defy my family's wishes, I never told them who you were or even who I was dating!" She hated how she sounded then, "If I had known...I would have avenged them for you." She was being honest when she said this.

At her questions, Naveen released his hold on her and took a step back. "Like you'd ever help me. I know how your kind is, I've been fighting against it all my life." He placed his hand on her stomach, feeling the bump there before he turned and moved away from her. "But believe me, I'll get my revenge one way or another. As soon as you're gone, those children are mine. I'll give you the courtesy of dying before your children. But by all means, try and stop me Rose. I'd love to see you try." He took off his cloak, revealing his scar ridden torso to her. Each one he wore with pride and he's earn even more before his fight was finally over. Though the largest across his chest was from Eric, a majority of the others were from battles with dragons. Once he had accepted his own dragon form, Naveen even started using that to his advantage. Now most of the dragons were gone, but not all of them of course. He hadn't made his way around the world just yet.

Aurora shook with ill concealed rage as she stared at him, "Don't you dare threaten my children!" She snarled and shifted into her full dragon form. She sent a tendril of flame at him, her body tensed as she dragged one long claw by the ground near where he stood. A part of her knew it wasn't a very smart idea to attack him, but she didn't like the idea of anyone harming her children. Her wings unfurled and seemed to engulf the entire hall with their wingspan. She was grateful she had had the foresight to send her heartstone to a secure location, this battle was going to test her.

Naveen couldn't help the grin that came to his lips as he heard her anger take over. When she sent fire his way, he merely ducked out of the way and leaned against the throne. She managed to singe his shoulder just slightly but he hardly even felt it. He gave her an almost bored look as he crossed his arms. "Oh that is so mature sweetheart. Have I hit a nerve?" When she dragged her claw across the ground before him, he didn't flinch, not even phased by her attempts to scare him. He only gave her a smirk before he shifted into his own form, his dragon body filling up the cave. The scars from his body still showed in this form, although they weren't as prominent. "Think about this my dear. If you choose to fight me, you have a very high chance of getting them killed now, as well as yourself." The sight of her angered like this only gave him joy. The only time she had ever shown him her form was right before she killed him the first time. If she chose to fight him, she'd have to deal with the monster she created that stood before her.

Aurora snarled, "Don't patronize me!" Her tail lashed in agitation at his words, he made some good points but oh she didn't have to like them. "Get out." The words came out in a throaty growl as she sneered at him. The sight of Naveen in dragon form made her remember the day she had killed him. She had never actually stayed to see what he looked like, until now. He was slightly bigger then she was as far as mass went and the scars that he had as a human also passed in his dragon form. She would have to know how he attacked in order to know how to take him down. Any weak points she'd have to remember, just in case they ever met up again.

Naveen lunged forward, tackling her to the ground as the ground shook under their weight. He pinned her down with his weight as one arm moved up and wrapped around her throat. "Don't make me warn you again. You're lucky I haven't decided to kill you yet." He stared down at her, his eyes burning a fiery red. Naveen could have easily killed her ten times over during all of this but something inside of him made him hold back. Perhaps it was the feelings he still held for her and it just made him disgusted with himself. She had caused him so much pain and now here he was, giving her mercy. He chuckled when she told him to get out, his rough voice echoing in the cave. "You can't control me Rose. I don't have a precious heartstone like you do. I'll leave when I'm damn well ready."

Aurora snapped at him as he pinned her to the cave floor and writhed under him. The feeling of his talons wrapped around her neck made her shudder, it felt wrong on so many levels. She tensed at his words and then flipped them so now she was the one on top. "I meant what I said Naveen...get out." She said as a thin stream of fire left her mouth as she sneered down at him. "You never should have threatened my children." She growled as she got off of him, before she shifted back into her human form. Even after what he said and continued to do, she was reluctant to actually hurt him. She rubbed her neck where he had gripped her with his talons, she'd have marks there for awhile. "I feel sorry for you...all this time and you haven't changed one bit. Makes me wonder if you even have a heart." Aurora said quietly.

Naveen barely had time to react when she spun their bodies until she was on top with a move he had never expected. When she got off of him and shifted into her human form, he growled before he did the same. He pushed himself up off of the ground, dusting himself off casually. Red marks shown on her neck where he had grabbed her and he couldn't help but grin. Lover boy would surely see that and then she'd have to explain all of this to him. He grabbed his cloak from the ground and turned to leave, not wanting to offer her a single word, that is, until he heard her speak. His feet came to a stop before he spun around and glared at her. "I don't have a heart? I loved you Rose. More than you'll ever know. I tried to have children with you for gods' sake!" He took steps towards her until she fell back onto the throne and he pinned her to the seat. "I would have loved those children with every breath I had if they wouldn't have had blood tainted by your kind. You can't expect me to change with all the shit I've gone through for you and even before I met you. So don't you dare tell me I don't have a heart." Naveen released his grip on the sides of the chair as he turned to walk away from her. His blood boiled within his body. He couldn't understand how he had ever loved this woman when she drove him insane.

Aurora glared up at him as he yelled down at her, her heart raced as he kept talking. She knew she had dealt him a low blow with what she had said but she couldn't understand Naveen's reasoning. It hurt to know that he never would have changed how he felt regarding any children they might have had together. All because she was a dragon and he saw her as the scum of the earth. She watched as he turned to leave, the cloak in his hand flinging over his shoulder. Before she even knew what she was doing, she leapt up from the throne and followed after him. She reached for his hand and turned him to face her before she stepped into his personal space and kissed him. The kiss was everything she couldn't possibly begin to express in words. It was passionate and quite frankly a part of her wanted to taste him one last time. She was sure that the next time they met, it wouldn't go quite so smoothly.

Naveen heard her get up and come after him but he didn't turn, flinging his cloak over his shoulder. He was sick of fighting like this and he was ready to leave. Her hand grabbed his and she pulled him to turn to her. Before he could pull back, her body pressed against his as her lips captured him. He stood frozen for a moment as the taste of her exploded in his mouth once again. His hand moved up and rested on the back of her neck as he deepened the kiss, hating himself for this. Every time he touched her, he felt like the stupid lovesick boy he was back then. He felt a sudden desperate feeling to never let her go again fly through him which caused him to pull back. His hand gripped her arm as he pushed her away, cold eyes glaring down at her. Without saying another word, he turned his back to her and left the woman he used to love alone in her cave. He made himself a promise that he'd never come back here, but whether he would uphold that or not was a good question.

Aurora kissed him back eagerly, her body pressing against his own as she slid one hand up to bury in his hair. As soon as he pulled back, she hated how the absence of his lips against hers made her feel. The cold look in his eyes should have made her worried but it only made her miss the days they were together. She watched him leave with her heart beating a little faster then she would have liked. All this time and he still made her remember how in love with him that she had been. Hard to imagine now considering how different things had changed between them.
