Cinderella walked through the makretplace with her basket in hand and looked at the different items in the many stalls. She had a list in one hand with the needed items and looked at it from time to time as she went about her business. From time to time she would stop at a stall holding jewelry or fine hats and sigh, looking longingly at the wares. She sometimes wished she was rich and had money so she could buy all the pretty things she saw. But, wishful thinking would never do her any good so she would shake her head and move on to get her shopping done.

Milo had been wandering around for a bit just checking out the market to see if there was anything Elyon might like. He had told her to stay in and not go exploring, now whether or not she would was another story. There was so much craziness going on in the kingdom since he had returned. He had to admit the one place he found somewhat relaxing was the marketplace as it hardly ever changed too much. He examined the book of tales he had recently purchased for his guest and hoped she would like it. He was fairly sure he didn't have it in his library. As he was lost in thought he bumped into someone and jumped to attention. "Oh!" he exclaimed and looked up from the book at the woman in front of him. He really needed to pay attention more sometimes.

“Oh!” Cinderella was bumped into by someone as she paused to look at some apples and she almost lost her basket. She hastily picked up everything that had fallen out of the basket and looked at the man that had bumped into her. “Perhaps you shouldn’t read while in a market place” she chided him with some amusement, despite her annoyance at him. “But maybe as repayment you could help me do my shopping?” her boldness surprised herself, but she was kind of lonely an this was the perfect excuse to talk to someone who didn’t employ her and wasn’t dead.

Milo bent down and tried to help her pick up what he had caused her to drop. He felt a bit bad, he hadn't meant to cause anyone any trouble. He resisted the urge to smile at her chiding. She did have a point, he shouldn't have been reading and walking. That didn't mean he wouldn't continue to do so in the future though. He sheepishly tucked the book into the inner pocket of his jacket. He wasn't dressed as nice as he could've been, he preferred comfort over fashion. "You're right. I shouldn't have, the book was fascinating though." He shrugged a little. He could tell her had accidentally annoyed her and so rather than protest to helping her he simply nodded his head in agreement. "I figure that sounds fair. Besides I've nowhere to be and you seem to be pleasant enough company." He said with a smile.

She smiled and wagged a finger at him jokingly. “Fascinating or not that was no reason to go reading and bumping into people, mister” She was just having fun now and the gentle smile showed it. Cinderella curtsied when the man agreed to walk with her and nodded. “Thank you very much. I’m Cinderella by the way, but you can call me Cindy”

Milo crossed his arms and grinned. "Well, I can say that interesting things have happened as a result. You are right though, I'll walk and read another time. This probably isn't the best place." Cinderella, well now he had a name to go with the face and he enjoyed the fact that she was having fun. Even if it meant that she was teasing him a little. He could live with it. He wasn't quite sure how to respond when she curtsied so he extended a hand for her to shake as he introduced himself. "I'm Milo, it's a pleasure to meet you, Cindy." Cindy seemed nice enough. He just didn't want to scare her off with his last name. He had done that before and wasn't particularly fond of the implications which came with the name. So he had taken to just having people call him by his first name. It was easier and less stressful that way. "So shall we walk or would you rather just talk?" He teased and gestured towards the other market stalls.

“I know it can be hard, but please wait till you get home to read” she told him humorously. “Good book or not” She laughed. Interesting? He must lead a very boring life if this was interesting to him! “The pleasure is all mine Milo” She laughed again and walked a few steps ahead, turning back and smiling at him. “Both if you want. But one or the other is just as good to me”

He laughed and shrugged a bit sheepishly. Yeah he would definitely make sure not to walk and read again. If he tried it anywhere else he would probably end up in the bottom of a lake or something. That wouldn't be good at all. And yes he meant it when he said interesting, it was. He usually spent his time in his home, he didn't have a whole lot of staff and currently his only company was Elyon and his housekeeper so this was pretty interesting. "If I must I suppose I can." He replied a bit dramatically. He didn't mind her joke though, he knew she was right. He followed her and grinned as she started to walk. She was a funny one, and he found it nice. "Well I think both sounds just fine to me." He followed behind her and walked quickly to catch up.
