Garrett was very satisfied today as he just had received word from some of his contacts back In Maghden. Another enemy and threat had been taken care off and the kingdom was safe. He had burned the letter so no one else would find it. And for the evening, Anastasias parents weren't home so he decided to surprise Anastasia with a nice dinner that reminded him much of his home back in Maghden. And surprised she was. Grilled peacock with vegetables and red wine from Maghden. One thing he had learned was to give his host a nice treat.

For sure Anastasia suprised, pretty much as never before. First of all Garrett again wanted to spent some time with her but not only that, he treated her for a nice dinner with specials from Maghden. As she entered the dining hall she was just about to move to the other side of the table as she was used to when only two were about to eat but instead everything was set up so she could sit right next to Garrett which made conversations obviously much easier and more intimate. As she sat down she first took a better look at all the dishes before she turned to Garrett with a happy smile. "Everything surely looks great. Thank you for the treat, I really appreciate it."

"It's the least thing I can do after everything you have done for me," Garrett said honestly and with a charming smile as the wine was poured in their glasses. Not only had he gotten a roof over his head, but he had managed to do a lot of things with his job. Expect from retrieving the necklace he was supposed to get for King Phillip. That was the only job he had failed ever. But there still were more important jobs to do and after all, he was the best spy in Maghden. "And it is also nice to have calm evening too." She would probably agree with him since her parents used to listen to their conversations. They really were desperate to get a husband for Anastasia.

"Oh yes it definetly is. For once finally no nobles or my parents around to judge." Anastasia said with a giggle before she suddenly got silent and blushed as she didn´t want to be THAT open with her thoughts and feelings. "So ... how is it in Maghden?"

She was cute the way she blushed. "Maghden is quite big," Garrett replied. "It also has a big forest and tall mountains covered in snow." Garrett almost got excited like a kid on the Christmas eve as he told everything about Maghden.

Anastasia smiled gently at Garrett as he spoke about his home. He really seemed to love it with all his heart. "That surely sounds lovely. Have you ever been up in the mountains? Sadly I never had the chance. My parants didn´t like to go there, especially with me since it there are hardly people living there and it holds quite some dangers. It surely must be great though to have this giant amount of snow and the beautiful view from that heigth."

"True. No one can know if there are wild animals or even bandits lurking around." Garretts mother was very protective as well when he was younger. "Once in a while when I had the chance, I used to take some trips up at the mountains. It takes almost half a day to get to the top. But the view over the whole kingdom is worth it!" Truth to be told, Garrett knew the mountains very well, since he also used to chase people who tried to flee from him when he discovered about their secrets about assassination or threats to the royal family.

For a moment Anastasia kept quiet until she eventually sighed though kept her smile. "I really wish I could see it myself some day but I doubt I will really have a chance unless I have to hide myself up there. But I am happy that you could make that experience though. Was it very lonely up there or have you met some people?"

"Mostly I meet people who's having sheep's and such." At least that wasn't a lie. He used to meet farmers who could give him valuable information. "Maybe you can visit Maghden one day. After all, the kingdoms will be united once the princess is safely returned." And it's people should get to know each other too as well.

"Maybe." Anastasia repeated about to become quite sad. After all it wasn´t really in her hands were she would go. Either it was her parents deciding for most for her or, in case her parents would suceed, he would listen to and follow her husband. "Mmmh do you have access to the sea and therefore beaches as well?"

"Indeed. The beach is absolutely beautiful, especially when the sun goes down. Then one get in a romantically feeling." His mother had loved the beach so much when she still was alive. She and Garrett used to spend some of their time together there.

"Oh yes indeed. Sunsets are beautiful and get quite some feelings and emotions out of you." She agreed, always having adored the sea itself and the beaches as she always wondered what would be on the other side and got her fantasy quite some.

That was something he had heard from sailors while he was under training to become a spy. Others claimed that it was sirens or water spirits, but people always believed what they believed.

At the tale Anastasia chuckled. "Oh lemme guess, you actually met one the other day." She joked, being very sure that mermaids either tended to hide or make sure their victim wouldn´t get the chance to tell about the meeting.
