Garrett shrugged his shoulders with a funny face. "I was just a little kid back then, so she probably thought that I was going to play a trick on her." What could he have done toward a mermaid anyways?

"I did love to be at the beach when I was younger," Garrett said honestly hiding away the pain he felt inside. He hadn't been at the beach ever since his mother had been killed. Whenever he tried, the memories of her flooded back to him and he always tried to flee. "But then I had duties and responsibilities to take care off, so sadly I don't have time for that anymore." He took a sip from the wine. "But what about you? Is there any place you like most?" When she looked at him, it was like he was staring at the prettiest jewels ever in her eyes.

"Hmmmm." For a moment Anastasia was silent as she thought of which place she liked most. "Sadly I have to say I have hardly been anywhere but this city and it surroundings. But I think the coast of paradise with its beaches I love the most." She eventually replied smiling.

Garrett looked into her eyes as well. Her eyes were really pretty and that beautiful red hair. He really wanted to touch her hair and look into her eyes. A little of her hair fell down her face and he gently moved it behind her ear smiling. Her eyes were shining. But then a servant was knocking on the door and peeked inside. "Excuse me, lord Dayne. But king Phillip wants to see you as soon as possible!" Garrett was actually disappointed. Here he was having a nice event and then suddenly, a new job appeared. "I see," he replied short. He rose up from the chair and went to Anastasia. "I'm really sorry for the interruption, but I really hope we can do this again. I really enjoy your company." He kissed her hand gently before he went to the castle.
