Naveen stumbled through the woods, glancing over in the direction of Eric's mansion. He really should go home to Eric but he wasn't ready...Eric would pester him until he told him what had been going on and Naveen really wasn't in the mood for that. Nita was getting married...he was a stranger to her...he didn't even know what to do anymore. His gaze moved over in the distance towards where Aurora's cave was and without even thinking, he started walking. Within a few minutes, he was standing outside of her cave, staring into the darkness before him. He made his way inside, ignoring the traps around the entrance though luckily he didn't set any off. There was no doubt that he was being loud as his feet kicked around the treasures on the floor. He looked up from his feet, noticing that he was in a part of the cave he had never seen before. A sigh flew past his lips..how the hell could he have gotten lost in this cave? It wasn't even that big. "Rose!" He yelled through the cave, kicking the treasures around his feet in frustration. His whole body wavered from the alcohol and he leaned against the cave wall to keep himself steadied. He wreaked of alcohol and sex from the strip club and he wished he had brought his bottle of whiskey with him...he needed another drink.

Aurora had just gotten ready for bed when someone triggered her alarms. Of course these alarms only alerted her to where the intruder was at, and then Aurora heard Naveen's voice. She sat up and headed out into the hallway to see Naveen leaning against the cave wall looking like he was completely wasted. The smell hit her next and she pinched her nose in disgust as she approached him. Being pregnant only amplified her sense of smell and she had to fight not to throw up. "You know I was only three feet away....and why on earth do you smell like you've been living in a brewery?" Aurora asked once she had neared him. Up close the image Naveen presented was almost as bad, Aurora had never seen Naveen like this. He looked like shit, he looked like he hadn't slept or shaved in days and his clothes hung on him...a sign that he wasn't wearing clean clothes. "Good lord...what the hell happened to you?" Aurora asked as she studied him with worry and apprehension.

Naveen looked up when she rounded the corner and he held up his arms. "Hey, Rose! There you are!" A grin spread across his lips and he moved towards her, slinging an arm around her shoulders. She smelled just like a meadow, just like she always had when they were together back in the day. His hand moved down and caressed her stomach, frowning at the feel of it. He had almost forgotten that she was pregnant and now she was definitely showing. At her question, he scoffed and pulled away from her, striding into the main room of her cave. "I'm fine..just a little drunk. Nita's gone by the way..well, not gone completely. She's a stripper now..has no fucking clue who I am." He moved over to the throne and plopped his body down lazily in the seat, running a hand through his hair. His face turned into a disgusted frown at the feeling of how it felt in his fingertips..he really should have gone home and at least bathed himself.

Aurora raised an eyebrow as Naveen slung an arm around her. "A little drunk huh?" She asked as he ran a hand along her stomach, "You found Nita?" She asked with wide eyes, "What do you mean she doesn't know who you are? She loves you! And since when did she start stripping?" Aurora asked and then another realization hit her, "Wait a minute, you went to a strip club?" She stared at him as if not entirely sure what to think. In all her years, she had never seen Naveen this low. Ever since Nita had disappeared over a month ago, Naveen had been a wreck trying to find her. Something must have happened between Nita and Naveen, but Aurora was just about positive that she'd never know what it was. She moved to sit next to him, "....I feel like I need a drink...I hate being pregnant." She muttered under her breath, before glancing over at Naveen. "Start from the beginning, what happened?" She asked.

Naveen waved his hand and dismissed her when she mentioned him being in a strip club, his words coming out slightly slurred. "That part's not important...I went in to take a break and I got a little carried away. I haven't gotten laid in over a month and everything's going to hell so I figured why not...The damn stripper I got was her..She didn't know who I was Rose..." His words broke as he leaned his head back and took a deep breath. "She didn't know who I was.." He sat silently for a moment before he pushed himself out of the throne and paced the ground in front of it. "I don't know what happened... We had an argument one night and when I woke up the next morning, she was gone...Now I find her and she doesn't even know me? What is that?" Naveen felt the frustration growing in his voice and he shoved his hands in his pockets, clenching them into fists until his knuckled were white. "I swear if that Kent bastard got to her again, I'll kill him with my bare hands." The words came out as a growl as he turned to face her, avoiding her gaze. If she knew what he had done with Nita, she would think he was sick. He thought he was sick. If he had never given in to her, maybe everything would have stayed sane...

Aurora's expression narrowed, "A month? I thought you were with Eric?" And then she considered how long Nita had been missing, "You haven't slept with anyone since Nita's been gone?" She hadn't thought that Nita going missing had affected him that much. Then again she had felt how terrified Naveen was when Nita had been attacked by Kent. It was almost as if....as if his heart had broken that night. "You're not going to like hearing this but Kent can't have been behind it. I've made sure of it, ever since he attacked your sister...I made it so he can't go anywhere near her." Aurora said slowly, not sure how this news would affect Naveen. "What did you two fight about exactly?" She asked quietly as she studied him curiously. "I mean did she say anything to you before she disappeared? Any kind of clue as to why she was leaving?" Aurora kept her eyes on Naveen as she said this.

Naveen's eyes narrowed when she said Kent couldn't be behind it and his heart sank. If Kent didn't do this, then that means she had done it on her own. He ran a hand through his hair again and glanced over at her when she asked what they had fought about. After a moment, he sighed and dropped his shoulder in defeat before leaning back against the wall. "We...Gods how do I say this...we had sex. It was right after she ran into Kent at the harbor and she begged me to help her forget him and the sorcerer and...I did it." He had kept his gaze away from her as he spoke and frowned. Naveen glanced up just as she gave him an odd look and he shook his head. "I told her that we couldn't do it anymore after that night and that's when I woke up the next morning and she was gone...I..This is my fault isn't it?" He sat back down on the throne, staring down at his hands.

Aurora blinked in shock as she stared at him, "....Well uh...it wasn't what I thought had happened. But it explains a lot....and I hate to say it but um you probably should have waited to tell her that. I mean look at it from her perspective, she's only ever been with men who use her without caring about her....and then when you finally have sex with her she feels happy. To her it's probably a big deal since she's never had someone who actually cared about her before be with her. And right after you have sex with her, she's feeling very open and intimate....but then to shut her down right after? That would make any girl feel like she's been used....I know that wasn't your intention!" Aurora added hastily as she saw the look in his eyes, "I mean she probably thought it would be easier for you if she left. I mean she really cares about you, and who knows? Maybe if you apologize for what you did, then maybe...maybe she'll remember? If it was a potion, she should have a memory locked away somewhere that she can access if she wants to remember." Aurora sighed as she tried to think of something. "You need to change, get a potion that'll make you sober and tell her how you feel! Do you love her Naveen?" Aurora asked as she turned to look at him.

Naveen looked over at her, his eyes wide at how blunt she was being. She was right, he shouldn't have said that to her so soon..he probably shouldn't have said it at all. Though at her suggestion, he rolled his eyes and returned his gaze to his hands. Nita had already made it clear that she wasn't interested in finding out who he was to her. "She's getting married...in the morning. I don't need to be sober to see that she doesn't want me to be a part of her life anymore. I'd rather be drunk for that. That way I'll at least forget it the morning..." When she asked if he loved her, Naveen looked over at her, a small smile coming to the corner of his mouth. "Of course I do..she's my sister. I'd do anything for her. But I can't...if she was the one that decided to forget..maybe I should just leave her be."

Aurora raised an eyebrow, "And what if she wants you in her life? What if later on she remembers who you are? She may have made that decision to get rid of her own memories, but that doesn't mean that she'd want you out of her life. I know Nita....deep down inside I know she misses her brother. And you need to tell her what happened, and apologize! Because once she walks down that aisle and says, I do too some stranger...that's it! And let's be honest, she is marrying a stranger...she has only known this guy for a few weeks right? What if he's a serial killer? Or what if he leaves your sister for someone else later on down the road? Nita would be all on her own then...and she'd be back to stripping, is that really the life that she deserves? Is that the life you'd be ok with her having?" Aurora knew she was being a little unfair by throwing these scenarios at him, but Naveen was scaring her with how much he had shut down. "If it was me in her place, what would you do?" She asked after a moment.

Naveen frowned at her words. "You know that's not a fair question to ask me.." He took her hand in his, lightly running his thumb across her skin. "I know you're right..I just don't know what I'll do if she pushes me away. You know that if it were you..I'd stop you. I'd come to that church and catch you before you even go down that isle and.." As he spoke, his gaze traveled down to her lips, his mind still in a fog from the alcohol in his veins. Before he could stop himself, Naveen leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, his hand moving up and resting on the back of her neck. His hand slipped around her waist, pulling her body close to his as he forced a kiss on her. Why was he kissing her all of a sudden? He should be going to get Nita but his body refused to let him move. Naveen was tired..so tired of chasing and losing.

Aurora frowned, about to ask him what the difference was then, but then Naveen had his hands on her. Then before she could move, he was forcing a kiss on her. If he weren't so drunk and acting so unlike himself Aurora might have reciprocated as it was she slapped him across the face. It wasn't a gentle slap either, it was a hard one and then she kneed him in his crotch. "I'm really sorry, but you need to come to your senses! Do you even hear how you're sounding right now? The Naveen I knew and fell in love with would be charging towards the chapel as we speak and getting Nita out of there! You don't give up! You're a fighter Naveen, you always have been and you'll never forgive yourself if you don't at least tell Nita good-bye." Aurora said as she stared down at him. It really killed her to see Naveen this broken...but she'd be damned if she somehow didn't manage to get Naveen to come to his senses.

Naveen had just been about to pull her into his lap when felt a sting on his face, causing him to pull back when she suddenly kneed him in the crotch. He groaned as his hands covered his crotch, his body curling up into a ball. "What the hell! What was that for? How was that not an invitation to kiss you?" He sucked in a deep breath as he pushed down the pain that exploded through him. For a pregnant woman, she was still feisty as hell and could clearly pack a punch. When he finally got a hold of himself, he sat back up slowly, flashing her an annoyed look. "Fine, I'll do it..I'll stop that damn wedding. But I can't keep things going the way they were with her..She deserves a normal life and it's so wrong that we even slept together." Naveen ran his hands over his face, trying to sober himself up. He never should have gotten so drunk..

Aurora rolled her eyes, "And yet you had sex with her before." She pointed out dryly but then shrugged. "Fine, just get over there and....you can't go there looking like this." She said as she waved at Naveen's outfit and hair with a perturbed expression. "I mean no offense Naveen, but uh you might want to freshen up. Thankfully for you, there are some hot springs where you can bathe and I'll get you a different change of clothes." She said as she stood up and gestured for him to follow her. She led him to a passage that connected out the back and then right in front of them were the hot springs. "I'll get you a sobriety potion....you'll need it." Aurora said before she turned and left him too it.
