Nita jerked as Eddie threw her to the floor, her hands only barely managing to catch herself. She winced and turned around to look up at Eddie as he loomed over her. "So you thought you could lie to me and get away with it? You're nothing but a cunt who'll spread her legs for any man!" Eddie snarled down at her. Nita glared up at him and then Naveen showed up. She felt her heart race as Naveen's eyes turned a bloody red, "Go ahead then! What are you waiting for?" Eddie demanded as he stared up at Naveen with hardly any trace of fear. Nita slowly got up and stood next to Naveen's side as she glared down at Eddie, "I can't believe I ever wanted to marry you, you're a despicable, sick fuck!" Nita snapped and threw the ring that Eddie had given her from out of her pocket and right at him. "I thought you were different....I liked you! But you turned out to be worse then anyone I've ever met. You kidnapped my brother's daughter...you kidnapped my best friend...and you kidnapped him. I was never going to marry you...I just wanted to buy Chel some time to free herself." Nita said quietly but she was being honest. Eddie thrashed in Naveen's grasp at her words, "You will always be a whore! That's all you're good for!" He snarled as he glared at Nita

Naveen kept Eddie securely pinned to the ground as Nita came closer and threw the ring at him, his grip much tighter than necessary as his words only angered Naveen more. When he called Nita a whore, Naveen moved his hands, holding Eddie in a headlock and pulled him close before he whispered. "You should watch your fucking mouth." In one swift movement, Naveen jerked his hands and a loud crack echoed in the room. He simply tossed Eddie's body back on the ground, the dirt puffing up into dust around the dead weight once it fell. Naveen rose to his feet and spit on the man's body before he wiped the blood off his lip with his thumb, his gaze never leaving Eddie's lifeless form. "Fucking prick..." He mumbled to himself before he heard Nita gasp beside him and he glanced over at her, the redness leaving from his eyes as they turned back to normal. Even though Eddie deserved it, he felt guilty having finished the job right before her to see. She didn't need to see that side of him but when it came to keeping her or any of those girls safety, he'd do whatever it took. "Are you alright?"

Nita's eyes widened as Naveen suddenly broke Eddie's neck, the sight of Eddie's corpse slumping to the ground made her feel uneasy. She hadn't seen Naveen kill anyone like that before, but she knew Naveen wasn't a stranger to killing. "I meant what I said....I wasn't planning on marrying him. I couldn't! Not after what he'd done! I just wanted to help get Chel free." Nita said before she held up the dragon tooth that Naveen had given to her. "I had to improvise...I hope you don't mind." She added as she cleaned it off before handing it over to Naveen. "I promised I'd keep it safe for you, and I did up until I used it on him." She said with a dismissive wave of her hand to Eddie's body. Realizing that she was rambling, she broke off and smiled at him. "I'm just glad you're ok." She said before she leaned over and hugged him, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek as she did so.

Naveen kept a straight face as she explained herself, glancing down only when she handed him the necklace. He knew she was only trying to help, but if something had happened to her, he would never have been able to forgive himself. Chel was his responsibility now and he didn't want her putting herself in danger like that. Besides...he could feel his feelings for her getting stronger with each passing moment and that terrified him. His hand closed around the necklace before dropping to his side as she hugged him, his body almost stiffening at the gesture. After she pulled away, his hand shot up and gripped her arm, pulling her body back into his as he placed a kiss directly on her lips. It almost showed how desperate he was to keep her around and his arms slid around her body tightly. He pulled back slightly, slipping the necklace back around her neck. "Just don't do anything stupid like that again..." Naveen gave her a serious look before a small smile tugged at the corner of his lips and he took her hand in his. He led her back outside and away from the broken bodies that littered the hideout.

Nita felt her body easily mold against Naveen's as he pulled her against him for a kiss. She slid her arms up to wrap around the back of his neck and nearly whimpered as he slowly pulled away. "I won't." She said with a little roll of her eyes, her hand moving to hold his own before she looked up at him. All those months without him were catching up to her, Naveen had a hold on her that no one else did. Her body leaning against his own as they walked, however once they left the room she reluctantly pulled away as both Chel and Aurora were outside. "Dad! Did you see me back there?! I've never done anything like it before!" Chel said, completely oblivious to both Nita and Naveen's slightly rumpled clothes. "I'm still not as good as I'd like to be." Chel continued with a frown.

Naveen felt relief hit him as he saw Aurora and Chel waiting for them outside and his hand lightly squeezed Nita's. Chel seemed to be bouncing with excitement and he chuckled to himself, glancing down at Nita for a moment before he released her hand and made his way over to his daughter. It still felt strange having someone calling him 'dad', but a small part of him rather enjoyed it. He grinned at her before pulling her in for a hug. "Well we can fix that little problem, can't we?" Naveen pulled back and kept his arm around her shoulder as he looked down at his beaming child. He was grateful that she wasn't still stuck on what had happened before and actually wanted to learn how to use her newfound powers. "How about you and I take a little vacation? We've still got a few months before your aunt's birthday. I'll show you how to use that little spark you've got and then you can show off when we get back." He glanced over at Nita, checking to see if she would be alright with him leaving for a few more months. He'd take Chel to the other kingdom he had lived in for some time, since that was where he did most of his training in his younger days. As long as Nita didn't get into anything reckless like she had, he trusted her with being on her own, especially with Eric and Aurora so close by now.

Chel lit up, "But what if I...what if I hurt you again?" She asked as she looked up at him in sudden worry and concern. "I don't want to hurt anyone the way how I hurt you!" She added as she glanced away from him. Nita stepped up towards her and smiled down at her, "As long as you trust in yourself, you can do anything. I mean you took down a lot of bad people tonight. That's a big step from where you were a few months ago, and besides Naveen is the best teacher you could possibly have." She said with a gentle smile at Chel before looking over at Naveen. "As long as you don't miss my birthday, I don't have any problem with you two taking off for a few months." She added with a little wink at Naveen.

Naveen rolled his eyes playfully at Chel. "Oh please, I'm indestructible. Just ask Rose over there." He grinned, flashing Aurora a grateful look. If it wasn't for her, he would have been dead a million times over since he was so careless at times. At Nita's words, he felt Chel's shoulders relax. She had gotten a lot better since that night and if she took the training seriously, she could be great. He glanced up at Nita and pulled his arm off of Chel's shoulders before taking a step towards her. "I'd never miss it. Now I'm trusting you to keep that safe. Just don't try to stab anyone else with it, okay?" Naveen gestured to the necklace around her neck before he let out a laugh and placed a kiss on her cheek. He hated leaving her for so long again but Chel needed his attention for the time being. Besides, he had to find her a birthday present and he had a nice idea of what he could get from the other kingdom.

Nita grinned up at Naveen as he approached her, "I promise I won't use it as a weapon again...unless it's an emergency." She said as an after thought. She almost had the urge to kiss him then and there but she refrained as he lightly kissed her cheek. It wouldn't do to give Chel a bad impression, and she wanted Naveen to have a good relationship with her. He deserved it, "Well we should probably go....it's getting late." She noted as she took in the clouds that were slowly building up. Aurora stepped up, "I can take you home Nita, take care of yourselves." She added as she glanced over at Chel and Naveen.
