It had taken days sailing from Maghden, but Garrett was finally back in Paradise again. He would have to report to Phillip personally once he could meet him about his last mission, but first there was someone else Garrett would meet first. Anastasia Tremaine. The last time he had seen her, he had given her the necklace from his mother. Who knew, maybe people talked about that Anastasia had a secret admirer or something? The ship had finally arrived at it place at the dock and Garrett soon was in the town again. His hair had grown a bit longer, but there wasn't much change at him. He had planned to come back earlier, but during the mission he had gotten hurt and had to recover before he could leave. Then he saw her. Her beautiful red hair and the shining eyes. He smiled as he saw the necklace around her neck. He hurried to her from behind and covered her eyes with his hands. "Guess who!" he said gently into her ear.

Anastasia has been out to pay her family´s tailor of trust a visit for a new dress she intended to wear once Garrett would return. When he had told her he would have to leave for some time it had broken her heart though as he had given her the necklace, which she had worn straight from that day on, she still had been hopefull and couldn´t wait for his return. With her eyes suddenly getting covered she immediately stomped on the feet of whoever was behind her out of reflex since as a lady she had been teached to look out for herself. The moment she realized who she just had hurt and even has been close to hurt even more as defense she didn´t hesitate to appologize and glombed Garrett and even almost kissed him before she quickly backed off as she remembered that they where not alone. "I .. uhm ... it´s good to see you again."

"Ouch!" Garrett almost cried when Anastasia stomped on his feet. Maybe that approach wasn't such a good idea. But he couldn't blame her for defending herself. One always had to be careful. He was about to reply something teasingly to her but she already had gotten a hold off him and even almost kissed. Sadly, that didn't happen. "It's good to see you again too," he said smiling. "And the necklace really suits you," he commented. It was formed as a sea shell with a slight colour of pink. "I really missed you!"

At his compliment of course Anastasia couldn´t resist to blush and smile at him. "Thank you. You know that makes me really happy to hear. Oh and that you missed me too as well well of course." She replied with a chuckle. "Oh are you thirsty or hungry? How long has it been since you arrived? Do you need some rest?" Anastasia went right on with questioning him as the worrying being that she was, especially when it came to the ones she hold dear.

"I just arrived now," he replied smiling to her. "Just a little tired from the journey, but I wanted to be with you." He offered her his arm and they started to walk together. "I had planned to come earlier, but I was refused to do because of the rumours of the plague." Back in Maghden he had heard about a plague and he was really worried about Anastasia then. Would she be okay? Would she be well and healthy? He was glad that she was well.

Being left without words but a fast beating heart Anastasia just looked at Garrett with sparkling eyes and didn´t hesitate to take his arm and walk close with him. "Yes the plague really is a terrible thing but so far only few have been infected so until now most things are going as usual. I´m just glad you are alright but how about you come home with me and finally get some rest?"

"I'm really glad that you're all right," he said honestly and smiling to her. He leaned her closer to him and let her rest her head at his shoulder. "I really appreciate your offer. Thank you." It would be good to rest now and enjoy her company again.

Anastasia tried really hard to resist her urgent desire to cuddle Garrett ... and even more but in the end they made it to her house and quickly got inside. Without any real disturbance they went right away upstairs to the room Garrett has lived in when he stayed at her home. Once they were inside and really alone Anastasia took of her light cape she is normally wearing when she would go outside and got Garrets as well so he could go on and eventually get some rest.

If only they could cuddle each other and act like a couple while walking past the other persons at the street. Garrett smiled. He actually had gained a official title now. He was a lord. He could actually propose to Anastasia. He would have to talk with Phillip about it if he hadn't found a match for him. Finally they got to her home and went right upstairs to his old bedroom. It sure brought back memories from the time back then. "Thank you, my dear," he said as she took of his cape.

Anastasia quickly turned away and blushed as he called her "dear". It sure sounded strange yet it made her heart beat even faster, giving her a warm feeling. "Anything else I can take with me?" She eventually asked as she was about to leave the room.

"Not really, but thank you for asking," Garrett replied smiling. He laid down on the bed as she left the room and just closed his eyes just for a moment. He hadn't planned to take a nap, but when Anastasia came back later to look after him she found him sleeping with one arm covering his eyes. He was tired, but didn't want to admit it.
