Secrets - Tag Garrett

Anastasia kept running until she reached an unknown but nice place near the end of the town where a fontain was hidden between some houses where she kneed down on the fontain to cry her heart out. Being the way she was she wasn´t able to go home since she would only start gossip and bring shame on her family.

Once she could feel Garrets touch she moved away and yelled at him. "Go away I don´t ever want to see you again! I am SO sick of people using me without caring the slightest at all!"

"Liar!" Anastasia screamed as she stood up and pushed him away. As much as she wanted to, her push wasn´t hard or with real strength at all since even though her body felt tense at the same time she felt so very weak and yet she still loved him too much to really try to hurt him in any way. "You fooled me, you used me, you made me think, believe that ... GO AWAY!"

Still being in his hold Anastasia slapped him a third time but he just wouldn´t let her get away from him nor did anything to protect himself from her wrath. She was just about to slap him again, actually trying to hurt him but she couldn´t and his words and look didn´t make anything better. In the end before she could do anything harmfull in the slightest way she fall on her knees and held her free hand in front of her eyes, crying her heart out all over again. What has she done having to suffer that much?

Up until Garrett touched his mothers necklace Anastasia had completely forgotten that she was still wearing it. For a moment she smiled at it. She remembered when he gave it to her and how happy she has been about it and then there have been all the times she had looked at it thinking about Garrett and wishing with all her heart for him just to come back to her even if only as friend of even in company of another woman just as long as she could spent time with him again. Also finally his words actually reached her though it didn´t change her point of view at all. After she kept silent for a little longer tears started to silenty run down her face like rivers all over again as she reached behind her neck to open the necklace and handed it back to him.

The moment Garrett kissed Anastasia she stared at him with wide opened eyes in shook for a moment while her body stiffened. However quickly she closed her eyes and slowly she relaxed feeling as happy as never ever before in her life. How often she had dreamed and wished for this to happen, especially with Garrett, the man the loved undoubtably with all her heart. When he then backed off just to actually propose to her Anastasia was close to pinch herself as she just couldn´t believe it. For some time she just smiled with all her heart at Garrett and kissed him this time before she took the ring and took a closer look at it. It was just so beautiful and everything felt like a dream come true like everything she always desired, wished for, to find someone that she truly loves and that loves her back that she would spend her life together with. Just then however after her tears had stopped for some time now, she had to cry again while she felt her heart shatter into pieces as she gave Garrett also the ring back though honestly smiled. "I love you Garrett, I truly do with all my heart. But you know there is no way we could I could become your wife even if there is nothing I would want more. I´m not worthy and you deserve so much better than me."

His words felt like a choir of angels singing for her. At first she still couldn´t believe what she had just heard but eventually with that look he gave her she did and with tears of joy she kissed him once again and nodded. "If that´s how you truly feel about me and what you honestly want then yes, yes with all my heart I´d love to be your wife."
