Aurora watched with a small smile as Naveen started to get out of the bed beside her. "You sure I can't persuade you to stay a little longer?" She asked in a low tone as she sat up, the sheet loosely hanging from her grip and not disguising most of her body from his view. They had spent most of the night and into the early morning, having sex and Aurora was feeling more then satisfied. If she could convince Naveen to stay in her bed for a while longer, she would consider the morning well spent. Naveen knew her body more intimately then any of Aurora's past lovers. It made love making that much more enjoyable and Aurora knew what Naveen liked.

Naveen smirked as he pulled on his pants, glancing over at her over his shoulder. He had spent the past few weeks with her in their new home but he still hadn't told his parents that he was with her. Now that they had a home together, he was going to propose. Of course he'd have to tell his parents then, but he still had some time. He knew what their reaction would be so he was putting it off as long as possible. "Believe me, I would but I should really touch base back home. It's been weeks and I want to make sure Nita is alright." He sat down on the edge of the bed before he turned to her, leaning down to place a kiss on her lips. His hand moved down her side before he pulled back and grabbed his shirt. Just as he pulled the shirt onto his shoulders, there was a crash right outside their bedroom window and he looked over just in time to see the top of a very familiar head slipping out of view. "Nita.." He grinned back at Aurora, lazily buttoning a few of the buttons on his shirt as he rushed outside. Moving silently, he turned the corner to see Nita crouching down under the window looking into his bedroom. She turned to see him and squealed before she ran around the corner leading to the garden. "There's a punishment for spying." He smirked before chasing after her.

Nita had wanted to surprise both Naveen and Aurora with a little visit. When she had arrived, Aurora and Naveen hadn't answered the door but then Nita hadn't knocked very loudly. It had been awhile since Nita had played a prank on Naveen and she was feeling more mischievous then usual. She tiptoed to the side of the house, right where Naveen and Aurora's bedroom was. Hearing voices, she kept her head down until she heard her name. Curious, she raised her head just a fraction and then stumbled on one of the pots set next to the window. The whole thing tipped over and she winced as it shattered, she wasn't fast enough to hide as she heard Naveen say her name. Just as she was about to sneak off, she heard him just ahead of her and squealed in surprise. "You'll have to catch me first!" She shouted over her shoulder as she took off. If it weren't for her long skirts, Nita might have gotten away a lot faster but she was lagging and Naveen was gaining on her.

Naveen rolled his eyes as he went after her, her skirt trailing behind her. He chased her into the courtyard of the garden, weaving in and out between the pillars that outlined the house. Just as he turned a corner, his arm slipped around her waist and lifted her off of her feet and into the air. Her body flailed in his arms and he laughed, flinging her about until the two of them tumbled to the ground. His body pinned her down, his hands holding her arms on either side of her body and leaned his face down towards her. "Gotcha." He grinned, bumping his nose against hers. His body hovered over hers as he stared down at her. She hadn't given him a surprise visit like this in a while, but he was glad she was here. Now that he was spending more time away from home, they didn't spend as much time together as they had before and he lived for the days that he could see her smile again.

Nita let out a laugh as she heard Naveen only a few steps behind her, before he grabbed her. She flailed as he spun them around before they both tumbled to the ground. Her breath came out a little shaky as she stared up at him with a tender smile. "So you've caught me...what do you intend to do now?" She asked teasingly as she tried to free her hands from his grip. "I did miss you...I thought you'd forgotten all about me." She said with a little pout. It was partly true after all, she hadn't seen Naveen in weeks and she had missed him. The other part was of course her news from home, but she wasn't entirely sure how Naveen would take the news. She wasn't even sure if their father had told Naveen yet, and possibly for good reason. Naveen had a temper, it was rare to see him get angry especially now that he had Aurora but every now and then he could become violent. Nita rarely saw that side of him as he was careful around her and she appreciated that.

Naveen grinned down at her as he shifted, his body lying next to hers in the grass. His hand moved down and took hold of hers, lifting it up to him so he could lightly kiss the back of it. "I could never forget my precious Nita. I was just about to leave to come visit you. Tell me little sister, to what do I owe the pleasure of you're visit today?" He turned his head to look at her, his forehead resting a against hers. It had only been a few weeks but it felt like forever since he last saw her. He was so happy around her all the time and now that he had a life starting with Aurora, he was in bliss. His parents would never approve of what he had built but it was too late for them to try to change his mind. He was tired of the whole hunting thing..and the girls I'm the village were just no fun. Aurora was the first person to capture his attention and his heart, he wasn't going to give that up just because his parents would disapprove.

Nita felt a smile on her face as he spoke, "Really?" She asked as she turned to face him, laughing a little as he kissed the back of her hand. At his other words though she sighed and shook her head. "Only if you tell me, do you plan on marrying Aurora?" She asked as she lightly bumped his nose before pulling back just a little so she could meet his gaze with her own. She knew Naveen had been thinking about it before, that was partly why he had found a nice little cottage for him and Aurora to live in. Of course Nita couldn't blame him for leaving, he and father had very different opinions when it came to dragon hunting. Thinking of father made her think of the main reason why she had gone to see Naveen.

Naveen frowned when she forced a question on him first but he pushed it aside. "Of course I do. Everything is in place and once I get a little more money..I can finally buy her the ring she deserves." He grinned, pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket. Drawn on the sheet was a sketch of a diamond ring that he planned on having made for Aurora once he could afford it. He hadn't told anyone about it, not even Nita, despite the fact that she was the only one that knew he was with Aurora in the first place. Naveen knew he could trust her with his secret and he did the same in return for her. When he disappeared for weeks at time, he'd always tell his father that he had been out on a hunt, bringing back one dragons tooth for each he had killed. Of course his father didn't know that Naveen had been using the same dragon for several returns he had made. He did have to give in to his duties occasionally but that didn't mean he needed a fresh kill for each time he went away. For years he had tricked his father that way and he planned on continuing to do so until he had his future set in place.

Nita's eyes moved to the sketch that Naveen had drawn, it was beautiful. "She's going to love it." She said after a moment as she stared at the sketch. "I'm so happy for you...for both of you." She said and meant it, Naveen deserved someone who would be able to love him and Aurora was perfect. Her expression dimmed just a little bit as she thought about her own situation. "Maybe we can have a double wedding." She said as she tried to smile and failed, seeing Naveen's confused look she bit her lip. "I am to be married soon..for the good of the family." She said and lay back down on her back as she stared up at the sky. "I only just found about the betrothal last night, father has been making arrangements you see. He has it in his head that any children from my marriage can become future dragon hunters. I am nothing more then breeding stock....is it wrong of me to want a different life? One where I can make my own decisions brother?" She asked as she glanced over at him. Every time she tried to stand up for herself, her father ignored her concerns and would shut her down. Naveen had it a little better as he was now away from home, and shortly about to start a family of his own. "I know I have to obey father until I am wed....wed and bed." She said as she wrinkled her nose at the thought.

At her words, Naveen looked over at her, a confused look working it's way onto his face. When she explained her self, he felt his body tense and sat up, resting his arms on his knees. He knew his father had been talking about marrying Nita off but he never expected him to act on it..besides, whenever he did, he would threaten his father. Of course he would get beatings for it, but it seemed to work. Every time, his father would back down and Naveen thought that he was finally going to let it go. Naveen had never told Nita that he had that and he never planned on it. She wasn't some prize to be sold. She was worth so much more than that and his father always treated her like an object. He sighed, running a hand through his hair before he turned to look at her. "No it's not wrong. You deserve a life of your own, not one that father picks out for you." He took her hand on his, bringing it up to his lips as he kissed her skin once more. "Let me talk to him. I'll see if I can change his mind...I've talked him out of marrying me off plenty of times, maybe I can do the same for you." Naveen leaned down, bumping his nose against hers as his hand moved to rest on her waist.

Nita studied Naveen as he pushed himself up so she could see him better. As he took her hand and pressed a kiss along the back of it she smiled. "I think it's too late for me brother, but I do appreciate your offer." She said honestly as she squeezed his hand, her smile growing as he bumped her nose with his own. "Do you think my husband will treat me well?" She asked quietly as she watched him rest one hand on her waist. She was still trying to adjust to the knowledge of becoming married, she could only hope that her husband proved to be kind. What kind of man would she have picked if she had had a choice? Then it hit her and she ducked her head, her other hand resting on Naveen's shoulder. If she had a husband like Naveen, then she would be truly happy. Was that wrong to think? Nita didn't have much experience with men after all.

Naveen sighed as he hovered over her, his thumb caressing her hip lightly. "If he doesn't, he'll have me to deal with. It's not fair that he is forcing you into this..." Naveen groaned as he lowered his head, resting it lightly against her neck as he breathed her in. She smelled like home...like the flowers that decorated the front of their house and the spices that his mother cooked with. His body shifted to lay in the grass beside her once more, his hand moving up to run his fingers through her hair. "How long until the wedding? Maybe you can run away with me and Aurora..." Naveen frowned as he watched his fingers move through her hair gently. If he couldn't get his father to come to reason, he could just steal Nita away. What if her husband was abusive and hurt her...he'd die before letting anything happen to her.

Nita shivered as his hand grazed her hip, "I know...but if it helps the family, then I can manage." She said quietly. She closed her eyes in contentment as he lowered his head into her neck. She and Naveen had always been close and moments like this were the only times Nita felt safe. "Only a few more weeks...as tempting as your offer is, I think I should just accept it." She said quietly, enjoying the feeling of his fingers in her hair. "I'm going to miss moments like this...I don't think I'll get to see you as often as before." She admitted quietly, her expression becoming more downcast as she considered never seeing Naveen as often as she'd like. Naveen was her world, she ran a hand through his hair as she tried to imprint this moment in her memory. "Do you promise to come visit me?" She asked after a little pause.

Naveen frowned at her words, his arms wrapping around her body as he pulled her in for an embrace. He brought her flush against him and shifted so he could look down at her. "Of course I'll come and visit...but if dad or your future husband hurt you, I want to know. If I find out and you haven't told me, you know how I'll react." Naveen gave her a very serious look. He would have a chat with his father when he returned home, even if Nita didn't want him too. Naveen wasn't going to stand by as she threw away the life she wanted just for the good of the family. Maybe if he had stayed home and obeyed his father, Nita would be able to live freely. Because he had his plan to run away, she would pay the price.

Nita bit down on her bottom lip as he pulled her in for a closer embrace. "You have my word." She said and pressed a feather light kiss on the corner of his mouth, before hugged him again. "Don't blame yourself for this Naveen, besides you deserve to be with Aurora." She pointed out gently. They spend the rest of the morning like that, curled up together only moving when Nita pointed out that their parents would wonder where she had gone. Once he had taken her home, Nita found herself in her room while Naveen "talked" to their dad. Even though Nita had tried to talk him out of it, Naveen had had his mind set on setting things right. So Nita paced in her room, if things became too heated she would intervene. After all, they were discussing her future...she should have a say in the matter.
