Something Wrong (tags: Naveen)

Naveen felt his whole body suddenly get heavy, a light washing over them until he suddenly pulled back. Her eyes flicked open and a sigh of relief flew past his lips. Nero growled and pulled Naveen away from her, only looking down at Nita when she took his hand. He felt a baby kick his hand and all of his anger seemed to vanish. "Naveen, leave us. I'll deal with you in a minute." Nero didn't look at him as he spoke, his tone almost like it was an order instead of a demand. Naveen nodded slowly, his vision starting to spin and he took the opportunity to escape from the room.
Once he shut the door and he was out in the hall, he stumbled and fell onto the ground, a sharp pain shooting through his head. He winced as the pain moved down to his chest and then his stomach, his hand clutching his stomach as he bent over. Flashes of images crossed his vision as he squeezed his eyes shut. Him when he was younger and then suddenly, a younger girl appeared at his side. Every memory, she showed up in. Then flashes of the their first meeting after all those years. Standing by the lake as they kissed, the night after her nightmares and they slept in the same bed, and then the first night they were together. He gasped for air as the images began to get darker, another man appearing in them. It was Nero. When he attacked them, raped them, and he suddenly went limp. His body slumped against the wall as he lost consciousness, sweat dripping from his skin.
Nero looked down at Nita once Naveen left, his gaze dark and hard. "What the hell do you think you were doing? You could have gotten yourself killed." He stood up from the bed and paced around the room. Nero had been furious but now that Naveen had helped save his children, he couldn't be too upset with the man. Hell, he even went as far to forget her. What did that mean?

Nero's body tensed as she described what had been going on and why she left before he turned to face her. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? Why did you want to even run in the first place? I've given you everything you've ever wanted! I take care of you're every need and tonight is how you thank me?" He growled, his eyes blazing with anger. Had Naveen been of a sound mind, he would have taken her away from here and Nero would be screwed. "The only reason that boy is still alive is because he brought you back to me. But the next time I see him, don't you dare think that I won't finish what I've started. You will not die. I won't let you." He moved up to her and forced a rough kiss on her lips. What he was expecting, even he wasn't sure. He had never seen anything like what Naveen had done and he wasn't sure how it had happened. Naveen had no powers, nothing that could bring Nita back like how he did.

Nero's eyes widened when she pushed him away and he stumbled back. "What part of that was abusing you? You enjoyed it, I know you did! You are the one that begs for me every night and I give it to you. All I do is try to please you. I wasn't torturing you, why would I? I love you." He stepped up to her and moved to caress her cheek when she suddenly pulled away from him again. A sneer came to his lip when he gripped her chin and forced another kiss onto her. He pulled back slightly and growled when she didn't respond to him. "Fine, you want to run away with him? Be my guest. But I will come for you when those children are born. And don't try to run. I will find you." He gripped her chin until she bruised and finally let her go, turning his back.

Nero stopped dead in his tracks, slowly turning to look back at her. "How dare you. He threatened my children, don't you think I'd take every precaution after that? I thought that if I threatened him, he would let go. I thought it was you every time Nita. Why else would I let myself develop feelings for you?" He growled and walked up to her, his form towering over her. "Why is it always Naveen with you? I have been busting my ass trying to make you happy and you just keep running back to him. He forgot you Nita. He chose that. Doesn't that hurt? That he could give up everything you had together just to make himself feel better? If he did that, you obviously didn't mean that much to him!" He gripped her shoulders, trying to get her to listen to him.

Naveen slowly came to, his body stiff from his position on that ground. His head pounded and he winced as he sat up. He looked around, his head trying to make sense of where he was when he suddenly heard yelling in the room beside him.
Nero stumbled back when he felt a sting on his cheek, his hand slowly rising to his face to cover his burning skin. His gaze fell to the floor as she spoke but he shook his head. He had loved her...didn't he? She brought so much back to his life, just like his wife had. "I tried to change for you. He ran away. And you still love him instead. I can't-" His words were cut off when suddenly Naveen burst into the room. Nero spun around and glared at him. "What the hell-" His words died off when Naveen held up his hand, his gaze never leaving Nita. "She's right. She forgot me once...but I brought her back to me and now I go and do the same thing to her. I don't know what compelled me to do it, but I know that I love her. Even if I can't remember everything, I've seen her in my dreams...every time I close my eyes. I still don't know everything she means to me but I sure as hell intend to find out."

Nero's eyes widened at Naveen and Nita's exchange and his gaze darkened. He raised his hands and shook his head. "Just get out. Go with him, it's clearly what you want. Just remember what I said." He glared at her before he leaned down and whispered into her ear. "One day you will be mine. You'll see. You're mine." Nero sneered into her ear before he turned and stormed out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
Naveen stepped to the side when Nero pushed past him and flinched when the door slammed shut. He stared down at the ground for a moment, almost terrified at being alone with Nita. "I..I'm sorry..about him. You don't have to leave with me..I don't want to get in the way." He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets. "I don't remember everything..but I've seen bits and pieces and I think that kiss..it broke a barrier. It's slowly coming back to me but it may be a while..I'm sorry that I even did it..forgot you and I promise I'll never do it again. And if you'll have me...I'd like to fall in love with you all over again." Naveen raised his gaze to her and stepped a little closer but left space between them in case she didn't want him to be near her.
