Naveen trusted his father to take care of Chel, despite how he still didn't like the idea of them together. She loved him, he could tell, so he would have to put aside his differences and let them have their time. Besides, he and Nita, even the children, hadn't been able to touch for so long so he needed some reattachment to them. Nita had been gracious enough to let him play with the children for a few hours until they were both ready for a nap. But now that Ruby and Evangeline were gone and Nero had changed, maybe they wouldn't have to worry anymore. They could have the life they always wanted....the life Nita deserved. Now he lay in bed with Nita, holding her to his chest as he enjoyed being able to feel her skin. He could touch her throughout those three weeks but only through clothing and even then..it wasn't the same. Now he could feel her skin against his and he felt complete. "I've missed this so much..." Naveen looked down at her before leaning down and pressing his lips against hers.

Naveen grinned down at her and nodded. "I did too...these last three weeks were torture." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Even though Evangeline was gone now, he couldn't shake the feelings that something else was coming. But what, he wasn't sure. They had beaten everything thrown at them and now they could finally have the life they wanted. He could take Nita to the beach with their children, just like in her dream and she'll be happy. Even his father had changed, though that part he was still worried about. They had kept it a secret from him for how long, he didn't even know. But Chel said she was happy and...he trusted her. "You trust father...right?" He looked down at her and bit his lip, hating that he was ruining the mood by asking such a selfish question.

After everything that he's put us through it's difficult to say...but I can tell that he genuinely cares about Chel. Chel deserves someone who will always put her first, and when she was taken I could tell how it affected Nero. He didn't rest very often and he was always trying to find some clue as to where she was being held. Nero's the only reason we were even able to find her." She added quietly as she thought about it. "He's also very good with the kids...of course Narcisse is his heir so I'm not surprised that he'd treat him well." She said with a slight shrug. It still worried her that Nero was possibly going to take Narcisse with him soon and she'd never see her son again. If she lost her son she wasn't sure how she would handle it, especially after having carried him full term and now after caring for him daily. She loved her children so much and the thought of ever losing them terrified her.

Naveen nodded his head as she spoke, knowing that she was right. Nero was dragging him all over the place trying to find Chel and even more so after his first dream connection with her. Just the fact that they had a connection like that surprised him. And how he looked at Chel when they were reunited, it made him even more confused. He had never seen his father so...dedicated to someone before. Not even when he had kidnapped Nita and claimed that he loved her, he didn't see that same look in his eyes as he did with Chel. Though when Nita brought up Narcisse, he frowned and gently squeezed her hand. "I know you're worried about him...and I won't let father take our son. I don't care if he's not my blood, I love him and Mira. They are my children just as much as his." Naveen looked over at the crib where the children were still sleeping. He meant every word. Nero had planned from day one to take Narcisse but now that he and Nita had had time to get attached...he wasn't so sure he could let him go now. Besides, if he was serious about Chel...maybe he could make a new heir. Though the thought of his father and his daughter together still made his stomach churn and he quickly pushed the thoughts out of his head.
