Lina blushed at Meg's compliment. She was about to thank her, but then she started talking about finding her a prince. The thought of finding love was such a far-off idea to Lina, but she had to admit that she liked the idea of being in love. Many times, she had watched a lovely pair of lovers walking in the night and wondered how it felt to be so love-smitten that everything looked pink. She wanted to experience her heart flutter, it didn't matter who brought that feeling to her - she just wanted to feel it.
When Megara suddenly spoke again, Lina perked up. Her friend was giving her a sad smile as she asked her if she was ready to go. Lina tilted her head to the side, resembling a confused puppy. Something told her that Megara wasn't feeling as happy as she was a minute ago. Lina wanted to ask, but she feared making things worse so she put on her best encouraging smile, nodded and wrapped her arm around Meg's again, hoping it would comfort the taller woman.
