Armed with a frying pan and a vial of doll eye's berry juice Rapunzel took off into the night to search for lost and injured civilians that she could take in for the night

In her cat form, she was walking around the woods and it was around night time; she didn't feel hungry since she ate at home with her brother and mother. All she wanted to do was just take a stroll just for kicks and she was in the mood to just walk in the moonlight. While walking, she did see something in the distance, and it looked like some young woman carrying some sort of item, which looked sort of dangerous, so, she just backed up for a moment as she was not sure if it was a guard. She didn't want to take any chances of being kidnapped, so, she just stepped back; her curiosity instincts got to her, and she just walked over to the human and just sat down and decided to sit by her. She gave out a small meow, as though she was trying to say hello to her. "Mew.." She meowed, with a small chirp coming out of her mouth. She then looked up at her and looked at the frying pan and she just sat there, as though she was a little nervous about the approach. She was not sure if the human was going to react negativity or positively.

Rapunzel jumped slightly at the mewling sound, and held on to the handle of her frying pan. She looked around the forest which seemed... Empty. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly in confusion before she looked down at her feet. The small kitten that sat before her seemed- scared? Rapunzel softly chuckled at the absurd thought before crouching down and looking into the small creatures eyes
"Hey there little one, are you lost?"
She whispered gently, taking her hand off the frying pan handle and softly scratching the kitten behind the ear.

When she saw that the female was a little jumpy around the cat, she was feeling a little nervous at first, thinking that she was going to hit her with the frying pan. She cringed as though she did feel frightened; until she heard her asking something in a sweet way. As she heard her question, she nods her head as though she was saying "yes." She was looking for something to bring home for her mother originally, and she got lost in the woods someplace. There, good reason for why she got lost.

She smiled at the kitten. It was a sweet little thing and Rapunzel was partial to sweet little creatures.
"Where did you come from? Surely you're too young to be out and about on your own?"
She whispered as she held out her hand for the kitten to sniff.

When Eilonwy saw that the human was smiling at her, she was still a little intimidated by the frying pan at first, but, then found out that this person was nice, but, she was not sure herself if she was a creature or just an ordinary human. No need to ask, since they are meeting at the moment; she meows at her again, while having a small bow on her fur. When she heard the question on where she came from, she did feel tempted to speak in her human form, but, was not sure what her reaction may be if she said something, and nods her head once again. She would tell her after she decides to become human and talk to her on where she came from, but for now, she decided to stay in this form, so, she can get used to people meeting her this way. So, she meows again, and sniffs her hand and thinks that she could be the friendly type. So far, the only person that she met in her cat form was Sarah, and she did tell her secret to Lina & Meg, so, she was slowly starting to feel more comfortable about other people and creatures.

Rapunzel giggled as the young cat sniffed her hand. She'd met all kinds of weird and wonderful creatures, but it was strange for her to find a house cat of all things. She looked down at the ribbon tied around the creatures neck.
"Ahh... So you do have a home to go to."
She looked about the forest with slight uncertainty. It wasn't her first scouting 'mission' and it certainly wouldn't be her last but she couldn't help feeling uneasy.
"I do too. Perhaps if you were a stray I'd take you with me." She said with a light chuckle.
She sat down on the grass beside the cat and thought for a while.
"Perhaps you came from the house of a little old lady living in the woods... Or maybe you belong to one of the witches who came visiting..."

When she sniffed the young woman's hand, Elionwy did have a sense of this young woman being kind to her. As she commented that she has a home to go to, she nods her head. Yes, she has a home with Taran and mother but, she wanted to hang out some more with this lady. She seemed so kind and sweet to all creatures. She heard her comment of taking the cat home with her, and she mews softly at her. Although not a scout, Eilonwy was quite curious about hearing about other creatures that lived around the area. She then saw that she was sitting down by her, and saw that she was trying to guess on where she came from. As as heard her guesses, she nods her head. She felt temped to speak the truth, but, she decided to let her guess some more.

She glanced down at the kitten, who had been nodding along to everything she'd been saying. She raised her brow it slight surprise.
"It's almost as though you can-"
Rapunzel froze, slowly looking down at the tiny creature before whispering
"Understand me."
She looked intently into the creatures eyes. It wasn't out of the realm of possibility, plenty of creatures were extremely intelligent some even more so than all humans and supernaturals. Rapunzel had met werewolves so perhaps a were... kitten, wasn't such a crazy idea.

When Eilonwy saw that the young woman was glancing down at her, she was listening to everything she was saying, and of course she would listen. After all, she is a supernatural creature, so, she could hear everything, in either human form or animal form. She did feel very tempted to say something to prove that she was more than just a human, but, did not want to reveal anything just yet. She then saw that her eyebrows were raised in surprise, she did look at her, with a small tilting from the head, as she was not sure if she did anything wrong regarding this. "Mew?" She meowed, as though she was trying to say "What am I doing that's making you this way?" As she looked up at the human, she heard his whisper, she widens her eyes. Understand her? What was there to understand.. She then sees the lady staring into her eyes and she did back off for a second, as she was feeling imitated, so, she just took another step back, and felt as though she was starting to somehow trust this human, to let her know her secret.

As the kitten flinched, Rapunzel looked away not wanting her little companion to feel threatened.
"You're a silly little thing"
She whispered softly, scratching the kitten behind the ear.

Seeing that the female was trying to be nice to her, she stopped shivering with fear, and walked on over to her. She did seem more trusting and nice than ever, and she didn't want her to be frightened, which was a sweet gesture. The cat heard the human calling her, "silly" and her ears raise up. She was not expecting a comment like that just because she was frightened. She then felt the back of her ear being scratched, and she purred happily and rubs her body against her soft dress and looked up at her. "Mew..."

Rapunzel continued to pet the small animal, resting her hand on the young cat's stomach. She could feel the small cat's steady heart beat, it was comforting. As the small kitten looked up at her, she once again found herself staring into it's eyes.
"I have learnt over the years, to not judge a book by its cover. Sometimes someone who seems like a friend can stab you in the back and someone who seems like an enemy can become a dear friend."
She wasn't exactly sure why she was saying this to a cat but it felt right
"I am trusting, too trusting perhaps, of friendly strangers. I desperately try to find the good in others and it's exhausting. So I wonder, little one, if you are what you seem."
She gave a thoughtful smile tilting her head up to the starry sky.
