When Taran noticed that Wendy was starting to get into the act of being a pirate one day, he just immediately thought of having Eilonwy being in charge of being a pirate in charge as well, as to go along with the pretend game that Alice and him were going to play. He turned to his sister and tapped her on the shoulder and gave her the pleading eyes again, and thought that having her going along as a pirate captain could be fun for her, since she was obviously is in charge of him as she promised mother that she would do that duty to take good care of him from running away into the woods. "So, my dear sister, would you do the honor of being the captain as well, with Wendy?" He asked, and she looked at Wendy; "Eh, sure why not. After all, playing pretend could not be such a bad idea after all." She commented, and had thought of a couple of ideas that could be suitable to be one. Although Eilonwy did not have time to play with her brother, playing with these two girls could be a lot of fun. When Taran heard that Alice was going to be his first mate, he smiled at her and bowed down at her. "Why of course, my young matey." He said, and smiled at her, as he thought that she was having a lot of fun with the game already. He saw that she was using hand gestures to make herself look like a pirate, and he did get a kick out of her pirate accent. "Yes, me hearty. Captain, Wendy, please show us where the buried treasure is." He said, and did the same gestures as Alice did, which was pretty fun to copy someone's playful gesture; he was waiting for Wendy to react his and Alice's playfulness at the moment. Eilonwy just saw those two playing, and she did nothing but give out a small chuckle, as he saw how happy her dear brother was. He then looked up at Wendy and saw that she gave him a promise to be in the woods soon, and he gave out a small nod. "Thank you, Wendy. This should be fun. The wait will be worth it." He said, and knew that patience would be the key to earning to rewarding something special.

"Yay, two captains!" Alice said, clapping her hands together as she jumped up and down. Usually, in the pirate stories she read, there was only one captain. But Alice felt like having Wendy and Eilonwy as captain was a good idea. They seemed so much alike.
Wendy had to laugh as Alice and Taran went back and forth with their "pirate" banter. It was amusing. She got a look from the two though, and it looked like they wanted her to give it a shot. "Um...argh?" she said a little hesitantly.
"Wendy, come on, pirates don't sound like that," Alice said. "You've read some of my books."
Wendy sighed, but knew that Alice was going to get onto her for this unless she went all out. She breathed in before responding with more enthusiasm "Anymore back talk from you matey and I'll have you walk the plank!"
Alice laughed. "That's more like it," she said with a smile.

When Eilonwy saw that the two were getting along so well, she was glad that they motived her and Wendy to play along with them. "Yes, me first mate~ Two captains makes a giant ship!" He said, and puts his hands in a position as though he was using it to stir a boat, which he could imagine doing one day. He looked at the blonde haired girl jumping up and down and he gave out a small chuckle, and wished that Eilonwy could be as playful as her. He was running around as though the ship was going really fast and he was just having too much with the new friends that he made. When Taran saw that Wendy was trying to act like a captain as well, he heard her attempt and could not help but, give out a small chuckle. "Hey, you tried. I like it." He said, with a small smile; he heard Alice mentioning that she was doing it somewhat wrong wrong, but, he had to admit it, she tried, and he and Eilowny personally approved. He then heard her trying again and he clapped his hands in approval. "Yes, my captain." He said, with a small bow. The older sister saw the sunset going down a few minutes later and she could be thinking that mother would be worried sick if she could not find her children anywhere. "Well, Wendy, Alice. I have to go to Taran for supper time. It was nice meeting you two, come along, Taran." Taran did pout a little, as though he wanted to play some more with Wendy and Alice. "Taran, we can play with them another day. Come, mother's got supper ready for us." "Aw, fine. Alice, Wendy, a pleasure to meet you, and Alice, we can have a day to play pirates with Wendy again." He said, and bowed his head towards them and smiled at the two girls.

Taran managed to get Eilonwy into the game, which made Alice happy. She almost never had this many kids to play with. Usually, it was just her and Wendy, and that was just recently. Until her new friend had come along, she was by herself most of the time. Now that she had new friends though, that made her very glad.
Wendy gave a smile at Taran in return. She appreciated his and Eilonwy's understanding about all this. She was still doubtful on whether Alice's father would permit an excursion to the forest. But right now, it seemed like she was content playing with her new friends here in the town, and that was nice to see. "Argh, this way to find the treasure!" she crowed, leading the group down the street. She could see Alice laughing, and that made her happy.
