That was kind of a depressing thought. Alice wanted things to change, badly. With the way things were going now, people like Wendy would be gone forever, and she didn't want that to happen. If only she was older, then maybe she could do something. But she feared that by the time she was an adult, it would be too late to reverse anything. Her gloomy thoughts were interrupted though, when she spotted her grand mansion. "There's my house," she said, pointing. "I can walk the rest of the way on my own. I don't want you getting spotted by the guards or anything." Knowing them, most of them were probably in bed by now, but still, Alice wanted to make sure her new friend stayed safe.

Helga studied the Mansion with some interest, it was definitely eye catching in a way that most people would term impressive. "It's very lovely." She said and turned to look down at Alice, surprised and touched by her words, "I'll watch to make sure that you get home safe, it was a pleasure to meet you Alice." She said honestly and meant it. "I hope to see you again sometime, just make sure you visit the woods in the day time." She cautioned, the last thing she'd want was for the girl to get hurt by anyone.

Alice just gave a little nod in response. She wasn't sure if she could abide by that rule, so she wasn't about to start making any promises. Sneaking out at night was just easier. But she did hope that she could see Helga again in the future. She was very nice. She gave a little wave before hurrying off. Getting onto the mansion's grounds wasn't hard. It was climbing the tree next to her bedroom window that was a bit more difficult. Alice didn't have much experience climbing them, so it was a bit of a slow-going process. But, she finally made it to the top-most branch, and with just a bit of stretching, she was able to make it inside. She looked out the window, and she could barely see Helga in the distance. She gave another wave. A unicorn on her first night out. Who'd have thunk? It made her very happy.
