Lonette silently wondered what it would be like to be with Kayley but dismissed the thought almost immediately, she was clearly interested in Joseph. Besides the last thing Lonette wanted to do was scare her off, which could very well happen if Lonette wasn't too careful. "Have you ever done it with anyone?" She asked quietly, she wasn't so sure how Joseph would be with a virgin he didn't strike her as the kind of guy who would care what state he left the women was with in.

Kayley couldn't help but blush profusely at the question and she dropped her gaze down to the ground. "N-no, I haven't. I've never found anyone that I think would be worth it yet..." She thought of Joseph but immediately shook the thought out of her head. He had shown an interest in her from the moment he picked her up but ever since their kiss, he seemed to back off. Yes, he flirted every now and then but it always ended up giving her a false hope. She was so close to giving up that if Joseph wanted to take her at any point, she would let him. Just to be with him, whether he liked her or not. She was going to die young anyone, that much she knew and she didn't want to die a virgin.

Lonette nodded in understanding, she herself had lost her virginity at a young age but it had been to someone that she had crushed on. It hadn't been bad, a part of her wondered just how it would have been had she waited until she was older. Though she supposed that no longer mattered, "Except for Joseph." Lonette noted with a small smile, Kayley really was adorable and she hoped that Joseph was able to treat her with some respect as she deserved it.

Kayley giggled softly and brushed her bangs behind her ear. "Except for Joseph...I've already tried once apparently. I had gotten really drunk and practically thrown myself at him. I even got almost completely naked for him but then I passed out...If I hadn't, then that night may have been the night I lost it to him but I wouldn't have been happy with it. It took me days to even remember that...I want to remember losing it to someone I care about right away, not weeks later. And not under the influence of alcohol." She frowned at the memory and sighed.

Lonette winced in sympathy, "Oh that must have been awkward." She said, she had more of a head for alcohol then some other people she met. Which she guessed, she had gotten from her dad her mother had never been much of a drinker as far as Lonette could remember. "I'd avoid drinking anything when you're around him, when you have sex for the first time it should be with someone special. And like you said not as a foggy memory, I've had a few nights where I did that and I'm still not sure what happened during some of those nights." She said as she made a face.

Kayley nodded and offered her a small smile. "He still teases me about it. I woke up later that night in his bed and I nearly gave myself a fright." She was grateful though that Joseph hadn't done anything to her while she was passed out and she couldn't help but wonder why. From what she had heard, he seemed like the kind of person to take advantage of any situation. "I haven't had a drop since then and I don't really plan on it anytime in the future either. One scare was enough for me"

Lonette nodded in understanding, "Again only drink if you're around friends. Otherwise I'd watch what you have when you're around Joseph." She said gently. "How many drinks did you have exactly?" She asked curiously after a moment. It would help to know what Kayley's limit was so she wouldn't find herself in another situation like the one she had just described. The idea that she might accidently become drunk and not be able to help herself was one Lonette didn't want to have happen.

Kayley thought back to the night and frowned. "A beer..maybe a beer and a half...it really wasn't a lot." She groaned in annoyance and put her face in her hands. Maybe if she continued to drink, she'd build up a tolerance but it would take a while for that to happen and she didn't want to do anything stupid in the process.

Lonette let out a little whistle, only a beer? Kayley's tolerance was lower then what she had assumed. Though in some respects, it would make not drinking that much easier. "It's nothing to be ashamed of, I'm sure lots of people get drunk like that." Lonette said as reassuringly as she was able. "I mean my mom never drank." She said asshe tried thinking of other people who she knew who were like Kayley. "Granted, just because I never saw her drink doesn't mean much...but I'm sure she was a lightweight." She said hastily.

Kayley snorted and looked at Lonette through her fingers. "That had been my first time drinking so it didn't surprise me that it took such an effect on me. I'm just glad he didn't take advantage of me when it happened." She couldn't help the smile that came to her face after she said that. It had to mean something. "Plus I'm still pretty young...most people don't start drinking until they are in their twenties."

Lonette chuckled, "Well first time drinking, that can always be a little weird." She herself had been very young when she had had her first drink. "Well I'm glad Joseph has some self-control." She said with some relief, the thought of Kayley being raped was a very real possibility. Lonette snorted at Kayley's other words, "I must be the minority then." She said with a shake of her head. "I was sixteen when I had my first drink." She explained with a little laugh.

Kayley chuckled at her words and glanced back in the direction of the house. She hadn't seen any sign of Joseph so he wasn't looking for her just yet, that was a good sign. "I take it you don't get along with Michael very well? Otherwise you'd be staying with them instead of out here. Or does he not even know that you're here?" She glanced over at Lonette and fiddled with her hands in her lap. Family matters were always a touchy subject, but Kayley was glad she finally had someone to talk to. The princess just wasn't enough interaction and considering she was a prisoner, she didn't talk much.

Lonette frowned, "Oh he knows I'm here, but I've only talked to him once. I needed some time to think about the whole situation after that. Everything that I thought was true, wasn't and Michael has his own problems to deal with." She said with a frown. "He never even wanted to have me in the first place, so I'm keeping my distance." She said with a shrug. Of course she knew she'd have to talk to him eventually, but for now she wanted to sort things out on her own.

Kayley nodded at her words and frowned. She couldn't imagine what was going through Lonette's head. After all, she did know that she was unwanted and her father didn't even care about her enough to take her into his home. Kayley was lucky to have a real family as long as she did. She still missed her mother and father but now she had gotten used to them not being around anymore. It didn't bother her to be alone.

Lonette sighed and shifted, "I mean I don't blame him...it's just complicated." She said as she made a face. All her life she hadn't found anywhere where she felt at home. In fact Paradise was the only place she had stayed at for very long. Even as a kid, she had run away from the place Michael had taken her. The family hadn't treated her well, making her work twice as hard as everyone else. It wasn't until Lonette had learned the truth of her parentage that she had run off. Ever since then, Lonette had done things on her own, it was lonely at times but she had managed.
