She just blushed at the womans offer for a moment before she mumbled a "thank you". Jane really could need something warm to eat. Maybe this place was actually what it was claiming to be? However regarding the poisen it made her unsure again though she pushed the thought quickly aside since against a few poisons she was trained to be unaffected by anyways.

Rapunzel wandered over to one of the drawers and unlocked it with a small golden key
"Hmm let's see..."
She fumbled through the drawer for a bit before pulling out a silver key with a small tag attached to it
"Aha, there we are! Room 14's key!"
She turned and gave the woman a triumphant smile
"Now then if you follow me, I can show you which room you would stay in if you do choose to spend the night."
She began to walk out of the room before turning around suddenly
"My apologies, I didn't catch your name!"

"Hey you have food and a free room with a window so I think it´s pretty much obvious and set that I stay isn´t it?" She replied with a smirk before it disappeared as quickly as it came. "Jane ... my last name wouldn´t matter anyways." Jane answered as they were walking to the room she would most likely spend the night in.

Rapunzel turned the key in the doors lock, smiling to herself. She was glad Jane was beginning to trust her, trust was highly valuable in this new world.
"Jane... That's a pretty name. Well Jane, this is home sweet home for as long as you need it."
The room was fairly small. The single bed against the left hand wall had a wooden frame, a fairly comfortable mattress and some slightly lumpy pillows as well as a thick woolen blanket. There was a looking glass hanging on the right wall with a modest, slightly worn chest of drawers next to it. There was another painting done in the same style as the ones downstairs featuring the same dancing girl hanging next to the bed and a small window on the far wall. Lastly a small fire place sat in the bottom right hand corner of the room which was filled with small lumps of coal.

Home sweet home eh?, she thought to herself as she heard this strange expression. Humans. The room though actually looked quite nice and welcoming. However she also had spend enough time of her life out in the woods with hardly any real walls around her and the past time she had been even alone out there. She took a careful look around from the entrace to the room where they were standing before she turned her attention back to the owner. "Any name with which I can adress you?"

"...Gothel. Most people call me Gothel."
The name sounded strange and foreign on her tongue but she knew using her real name would be suicidal. Even if she did trust this Jane.
"Here. This is yours now."
Rapunzel handed Jane the silver key, giving a small smile
"Enjoy your stay, dinner will be finished shortly. Feel free to explore the forest in the meantime, there's a reason this place is called Paradise after all!"

"Thank you Gothel." Jane said as she took the key and was about to enter the room before she suddenly turned around. "I will join dinner soon then ... and I already know the forest quite well I guess ... also I´m not the badest huntress so if you need anything ... just ask."

Although she may be ambitious, Rapunzel is not proud and she can admit when she needs help.
"I'll leave you to it, I have bread to make!"
With a small curtsy, she left her guest alone
"She'll want some alone time to get used to the room." she thought as she glided downstairs, into the kitchen and continued on the bread she began before the abrupt arrival of Jane.

With everything said Jane moved into the room and closed the door behind her before she went over to the window. It surely was small but she still should be able to get out via it in case she needs to. Also the look outside was great where she was standing since she could see quite much from the street below and look at the sides quite far. Now that her escape routes has been checked she decided to rest for a few minutes and went over to the bed to lay down. However she couldn´t really keep calm for too long and quickly sat up to open her hair and let her ears out for a moment. Since they´ve been hidden for quite some time now it felt great to let them get some air even if it was just for a few minutes before she did her hair again and hid her elven features.
Once she was done she went outside the room and locked it just in case before she went downstairs and into the kitchen.

Humming softly, Rapunzel was off in her own world. Cooking was one of her escapes back at the estate and that, at least, hadn't changed. The bread was now in the oven and she was cleaning the worktop, her face covered in smudges of flour. As she turns to check on the stew, she spots Jane and jumps out of her skin
"Oh my! You scared me!" she said letting out a light laugh
"The stew is done, though the bread may be a little while longer. You can still grab a bowl if you're hungry."

"Wasn´t my intention." Jane said passing Gothel as she went right for the stew and took a bowl of it before she sat down at the kitchen table and started to eat. "Thanks for the food."

"Uhmm... You're not from around here, are you? I don't mean to pry but where are you from?"

"No, I´m not from here. I´m from farer away I suppose. My former home wasn´t on any map so I can´t tell for sure. However it wouldn´t matter anyways since for the time being Paradise is my home now. How about you?"

"I'm from Paradise, lived here my entire life. I hadn't explored that far outside my home town until the proclamation though. Not because I didn't want to, certain- how can I put it- obligations prevented me from doing so..."
