(Okay I just randomly asume there is the actual inn right here with a little nice sign yes? Otherwise I have no problem with changing posts xD ♥)
"Golden what what?", Jane mumbled repeatingly to herself as she stood in front of the sign near the entrace of that called inn, or so she asumed. With her head covered by a cape and her hands ready to reach out for her dagger immediately or in the worst case cast some fire spell she took a deep sigh and entered. "Hellooooo?"

(Yep that's exactly what it is  ) "Coming!" Rapunzel quickly took off her apron and hung it up. Brushing the flour off of her dress she ran out from the kitchen into the main seating area. A cloaked woman stood in the doorway. Rapunzel gave her a smile and said in a sing song voice "Welcome to the Golden Torch! I'm Gothel, the owner of this humble place. Are you looking for a room?" |

Jane raised a brow at the woman who just appeared. She seemed very friendly, maybe too friendly and obviously excited. "Uhm yeah I actually could use a room ... however is there any proof to trust you though?" She replied pushing right foreward. "What assures me that this haven isn´t an actual trap?"

Rapunzel was slightly taken aback by the woman's remark.
"Well... I suppose you may just have to trust me. I don't know how I can prove to you that I am not a spy and I know first hand how difficult it is to trust people nowadays. If it makes you feel safer, you can keep weaponry on you at all times and I can give you the key to your room so if you feel the need to barricade yourself in you're more than welcome to."
She gave a slightly tired smile
"Perhaps you'd feel more at ease if I showed you around?"

Jane crossed her arms and waited for a minute to think about the sugggestion. "Add a window to the room and I´m in." She replied eventually. The tour sounded great since it was always good to know your enviroment, especially in times and places like this.

Rapunzel gave a light laugh
"There are windows in every room so you don't need to worry about that"
She gestured to the woman's cloak, which looked soaking wet
"I can take that for you, if you want? I won't be offended if you want to carry a dagger around and it looks quite heavy."
She gave the woman a warm smile, wanting her guest to feel relaxed and safe.

Good thing I made my ears hide under my hair, Jane thought to herself as she took off her cloak and handed it over to the woman. "Thanks." She replied smiling back a little and took a closer look around before she turned her attention back to the owner.

Rapunzel let out a gentle sigh and took the cloak. She hung it up near the cindering fire to dry, before giving the woman another smile
"Well then, let's begin here."
She gestured to the large seating area. The whole area was lit up by dimly lit oil lanterns that gave the room a soft glow. The cobbled walls were decorated with paintings, with most of them featuring a dancing girl with long blonde hair. There were several mismatched settees and armchairs surrounding the large fireplace and a small bar alongside one of the walls.
"This is our main seating area which is open to all guests and visitors. Anyone who is human that enters here undergoes a memory enchantment to ensure they don't report this place to the authorities. This is just to ensure the safety of supernaturals that stay here and for no other reasons. Unless of course, the human is part of the resistance and can prove that they are. Members of the resistance are free to come and go as they please."

Jane followed every step and sentence of the woman with quite some attention. So far this place really sounded that bad and the enchantment thing actually also was quite to her liking. That so called resistance however made her frown. "Resistance? What is that and wait ... there are actually some humans helping other beings? Crazy!" She said stern though with a little laugh at the end since this was more than new to her. Especially regarding humans there has been hardly any experience that proved that tey were nice nor helping others at all.

Rapunzel's hands flew to her mouth in shock. How could she say so much to a complete stranger? She attempted to compose herself and tried to stop her shaking hands
"Would you like to see the kitchen next? It's a little chaotic I was making bread before you showed you see..."

As she heard about the singer she just raised a brow again. This surely was quite a strange place, not to mention the humans themselves. "Mhm I see ..."
However Jane got to smile shortly as the woman covered her mouth for a moment. She surely seemed be a talkactive one. "Yes that would be nice. Please go ahead."

Rapunzel gave a nervous smile, silently scolding her shaking hands. She led the woman through an oak door behind the bar into a kitchen. There was a large pot of rabbit stew on the wood burning stove and a large ball of dough on the worktop. There was an array of fresh, wild herbs hanging from a pot rack by string.
"This is the kitchen. It's a little small, but the stove is better than the one they have in the palace."
She said with a sense of pride. She had worked hard to restore that stove to it's former glory.
"We have a washing up rota of sorts, since the water pump is out round the back by the privy. Although everyone generally chips in where they can."
She tried her best not to look the woman in the eye as she talked, knowing it would give her anxiousness away.
"Oh we also keep all the keys to the rooms in here, means I'm less likely to lose any."

Jane followed silently until the stew was mentioned. She tried to hold her stomach and prevent a groal of hunger to happen but it was too late and she was clearly quite hungry she had to admit. Once the tour was done she most likely would head to the forest to collect some berries or hunt she already planned for herself before she turned her attention back to her guide. "Well small is still better than nothing right? Looks good though ... and organized."

Rapunzel glanced down at the woman's stomach and giggled slightly
"The stew is almost done, you could have some later if you wish. And before you say anything, you can get a bowl yourself though I can assure you it's not poisoned."
